Here is a very neat little 29' Rumble seat, Sport Coupe street rod. Custom built using a Mustang II donor car. The entire drivetrain was used. The V-6 engine, automatic transmission, wiring, power steering, power disc brakes and rear axle were all used. His idea was to build something similar to the Shay reproductions only using a V-6 and real Model A body. You can drive this car at highway speeds anywhere! It drives and handles GREAT ! Very nice paint and Upholstery. Also features a tilt column, AM/FM radio and heater. Look the pictures over and call JR @ Phil Stalling Classic cars 740-745-1147 for more info. This car is an eye-catcher! It looks bad-ass and sounds bad-ass! The body is all metal and is very solid, no patch panels. The front fenders are also metal however the back fenders are fiberglass to fit the tires. The running boards are metal. It has some stress cracks on the roof and around the back window above the deck lid; all pretty standard spots for a metal body Model A. The engine is a 406 small block chevy with chrome tunnel ram and two holley carburetors. It has a mother-thumper cam. The engine is about two years old and probably has only about 100 miles on the engine and transmission. The entire drive train is new as well with only about 100 miles. It has Corvair steering with rack and pinion. A Ford 9” rear-end with 4-11 gears. It has a TCI Streetfighter 350 transmission. It has a new aluminum radiator (about 2 years old). It has custom laker headers with baffles. Drum brakes are new with new master cylinder, wheel cylinder and pads. The rear tires are 33” x 21.5” x 15” and the wheels are Weld Racing wheels and they are 15” x 14”. The front tires are 165R15(86T) and the wheels are 15” x 6” Weld Racing wheels. All are Mickey Thompson Sportsman radial tires. The speedometer and gas gauge are not hooked up but all of the other gauges work. The interior is white with a chrome wheel. The radiator grill shell is from a 32 Ford truck and it carries the “convoy duck”. The deck lid was professionally detailed with “Daddy’s Little Bitch”. The history… I’ve had this car for about 8 years now, I bought it from a guy I worked with that had owned it for about 10 years. He was going to work on it but never found the time as it so frequently happens. The prior owner bought it from a friend that needed money for medical bills so we don’t really have a lot of history during this time or how many owners it had. I am selling it because I want to start on another project.

Enjoy nostalgia traditional hot rodding with this 1929 Ford truck Model A hot rod. 86 years old and still going strong. You won’t be disappointed with this driver. It’s climate controlled, plenty of power and 20 MPG. This hot rod has been all over the southeastern United States. It will cruise at 80 mph all day long and feel good about it. This hot rod is ready to go. Don’t miss the opportunity to own this piece of automotive history. This wonderful survivor truck was discovered the the prairies of Phillipsburg, Kansas. It was trailered in pieces to Arlington, Texas where a retired GM engineer built the hot rod. I swapped out the engine and transmission, built the interior and improved my other areas of the truck over a five year period. This truck is right. It is surprisingly comfortable and it loves going 80 MPH all day long on the freeway. I have been building and owning hot rods for over 50 years. I have owned many. I’ve never had more fun in a hot rod than this one. More importantly, other people enjoy this car more than the trailer queens I have owned. If you want to make people smile. If you want to see a thumbs up. If you want to spend 30 minutes at the gas pump talking to people about your hot rod, this is the rod for you. You can drive this rod on the street or it is set up for drag racing. Either way it is tons of fun. Poor health forces sale. Interior Seat is a narrowed Suburban bench seat. It’s easily removed to access the AC, heater and air compressor under the seat. The interior is made from hand laced leather. The cab smells great. The dash bar and steering wheel are wrapped in leather also. The back walls are made from plywood and painted with brown outdoor case iron furniture paint. The ceiling is made from lattice boards with antiqued brass screws. The overhead hand braided leather pull is to activate the dual air horns. The dome light is a vintage motorcycle turn signal. The gauges include engine water temp, oil pressure, amps, fuel level. The dash bezel has been modified to accept two gauges. The original fuel gauge and speedometer are working but disconnected. I use my iPhone speedometer app for a speedometer and odometer. The original windshield still opens out. Emergency brake works great. Steering wheel is from an MG. Steering column is from a 1962 Ford Falcon Every square inch of the interior is thoroughly insulated An overhead panel of switches controls the electronics The is a custom made leather glove box overhead on the shotgun side. I also have the original radiator temp gauge cap What it needs The drivers door will not open from the inside. I have to roll the window down and open the door from the outside. The fix is easy and inexpensive. I just haven’t gotten to it yet. I will fix it for you. Price Grundy valued and insured this truck for $32,000. I am asking $29,000.

You are looking at 1929 Model A Ford that runs and drives great. Great little touring car that is fun to drive. I have driven this little car about 300 miles this summer. it doesn't run hot or smoke, the motor is sound. The clutch and brakes are good. The brakes have been changed over to fluid brakes. The car has been converted to 12 volt system. All gauges and lights work, electric windshield wipers, muffler system is a couple years old. The windshield folds in and out great. All windows role up and down easily. Just have installed a new heater on the intake. This car has an older registration. There are a few chips in the paint, it is not perfect but still looks good. You can see by the pictures that there is a little minor surface rust on two of the panels. Starts anytime! This vehicle would make an excellent street rod or keep it original. The frame and running gear is in great shape and all new floors have be installed. [email protected] Phone: (859)893 4346

1929 FORD “A-V8” ROADSTER A NOSTALGIC EXAMPLE OF A TRUE AMERICAN HOT ROD BY WEEKDAY:Full fendered sole means of daily transport (on streets / to work & drive-ins).BY WEEKEND:A Dry Lake Land Speed Racer / Class: C/ achieved 125 MPH + speeds without the excess weight or drag of “non-essentials” such as fenders, running boards, windshield & lights.
