Hello, We are moving, and are forced to part with several of our cars, but this one is the hardest: This is a 1952 Chevrolet Styleline Deluxe convertible, in Honeydew Yellow with a Maroon interior. As you can tell, she is in good condition, and is a daily driver, not just a garage queen. Some notes: The good: Factory 216 "dipper" engine has been replaced with a "full pressure" 235ci engine from 1954. Converted to 6V alternator system. (Original 6V generator is included) Optima red-top 6V battery. Gets 20mpg all day long. 13 gallon fuel tank. Gauges all work. New radiator. Chrome is good all-around. Hood has been nosed and is in excellent shape. Trunklid has been decked. Wide whitewall tires. Matching Chevy hubcaps. Engine does not smoke. Makes good power. Excellent glass all-round. Tags just paid through 2015. 1COOL52 custom plate included, in california blue. Eligible for period orange plates from DMV. The bad: The original tube radio is there, but it doesn't function. There is a specialty shop/museum in Seattle that will repair these original radios, or you can get a transistor radio replacement. We just bring a Bose bluetooth speaker along. Tube repair is ~$400, a new radio ~$600 The top is nearing the end of its life, and is starting to shrink a bit, which slows the power top mechanism. Replacement vinyl is ~$1k. The underlayment is in perfect shape, it is just the outer/top that will need attention in the coming years. If you inadvertently "stomp on it" in reverse, there is some vibration from one of the U-joints in the driveshaft. It will probably need attention in the next 5 years. Normal driving is unaffected. The chrome for the side windows is starting to pit and could be redone. That's it. A great driveable classic. This car really does get waves and honks and iphones taking photos wherever you go -- it's just friendly to be around. It drives easy, simply, with no real bad habits.
