The Chevy Cameo Pickup was a new concept in light duty truck design. Introduced in 1955, this limited production model based on the 2nd Series Task Force line. The Cameo had as much emphasis placed on it\'s styling and cab comforts as Chevy\'s passenger cars. The innovative fiberglass bed with neatly enveloped fenders was an upscale departure from the broad -fendered stepside boxes seen on the other Task Force trucks. The Cameos were especially popular as a second "errand" vehicle in the booming American suburbs. Restored Cameos have become extremely desirable with the V8 models being the most sought after.This sharp looking model shown here is in excellent condition with beautiful Ivory %26 Red paint refreshed during a recent frame-off restoration. Chrome is in very good condition and trim is complete and excellent. The engine compartment is clean with minor cosmetic wear on the engine. Underside is clean and shows very well. New white wall tires and new seat cover upholstery in a correct pattern has just been added. Wood slats in bed are nicely varnished with just a hint of wear.
