Up for sale is a 1960 Chevy Belair 2dr. This car is currently taken apart to be restored but comes with everything needed to complete the build. I will even include the upgraded parts I have for the right offer. Prior to removing the engine, trans, and front clip this car was driveable and ran very well. It was ONLY taken apart to begin the rstoration process. The engine is a 350 chevy with 4bolt mains. The trans is a saginaw 4spd. It currently s shift on the column but will come with a hurst floor shifter if the price is right. Upgrades include: new tilt column, new rear disc brake kit, chrome master cylinder and brake booster, new power steering gear box,power bucket seats, chrome rearend housing. This is a 1960 Chevy C-10 Apache Pick-Up truck. Added features include a Chevy V-8 350 ci engine, front disc brakes, power steering, 2005 Silverado bucket seats, and the truck is lowered about seven (7) inches. The truck was purchased from a guy in the northeast who used it on his farm. The vehicle is inspected and registered each year with no problem. There are no dents or dings on the truck; however, there are signs that body work has been done. There is some surface rust, and the top of the truck seems to have been repaired with putty. The bed is 3/4 inch plywood that has been damaged by rain and the hot Texas sun. The rear brake light panel is fabricated and the reverse lights do work. Up for sale is two (2) 1960 Chevy Impala's. Both are four (4) door black hardtops. The 1st one is pretty complete, original v8 engine and auto Trans, has most of its chrome, interior is all there but is rough. The 2nd one is little rougher missing parts and chrome. The original engine and Trans does have fluid in them and the engine will turn over. I purchased these cars with intentions of fixing one and using parts from the other. The better car has a little rust in the bottom of the doors and a spot in the rear floor board but is pretty much solid. We have too much going on and don't think I will ever get around to fixing them up. If you have any questions about the cars or need more pics just holler. This 1960 Chevy Bel Air is a red beauty and a real show stopper. Not perfect but close to it. The shiny fire engine red paint is in very good condition. Only a few minor imperfections. Body is great; no dings, dents or creases. No rust! Chrome bumpers are beautiful and straight, stainless trim is in good condition. For the most part all trim and emblems are there except the Bel Air emblem on either side. Door handles have been shaved as has trunk lock. This really makes the car sleek. This car has power steering and power brakes—and to top it all off-- Vintage Air Conditioning! Interior has been totally redone in roll and tucked style—gray and black with red piping. Headliner, door panels and back deck all match to perfection. As if the dash couldn’t get more awesome, the bezels have been chromed (instead of just paint) setting off the gages even more. Original radio is there, doesn’t work but there is a newer radio/CD player installed in an under dash console. All glass is in very good condition and all windows operate. Dark tint on glass really sets off the shiny red color. Let’s get to the meat of this awesome car. It has a 283, bored 60 over, camel hump heads, aluminum Edelbrock intake and 4 barrel. The almost new tranny (7 mos. old) is a 700R4 and gets this beauty 16.5 mpg. An aluminum 3 row radiator and 6 blade fan are also a plus. Of course what would a classic car be without Flowmaster exhaust! She runs and drives great with a tight front end—no slop. Rear tires are as wide as could fit without tubbing. WELD wheels on all 4. Tires still have 80% tread. Drive her home or across country. Put her in a show and she’ll get lots of ooos and aaahs. She does make heads turn! The wipers have just stopped working. I am sure it is an easy fix.The mileage listed is a number I had to put in for ebay. It is a 1960 and not sure of exact mileage. If I haven’t answered all your questions-please feel free to ask.
