Ive had the car for a year and a half. It runs great as the engine was rebuilt 20,000 miles ago and I recently had the transmission serviced. The car does need some work and would be a good project or first car. I have a detailed list of all the work done to the car for the time I've had it. If you have questions or would like to see it, email me at: [email protected]

This is a '66 Mustang GT 350 recreation. It was 100% completely restored. zero rust. Originally a true GT fastback, it has been cloned into a GT 350. Complete with an original 289 Hi Performance v8 w 4barrel carb. It was dyno tuned and produces 310 hp at the flywheel and 345 lbs of torque. It won numerous awards in Indiana, where it was restored. I took it the last 25% and added side scoops, front and rear racing valances as well as new rear end (3:25)...new exhaust system (flowmaster) with added side exhaust outlets that you can control by an electric interior switch. Also added correct monte carlo and export braces, rebuilt steering box...fire extinguisher...Vintage A/C , vintage radio with updated blue tooth capability...custom gauges that have the Shelby logo. There are a number or other extras too many to add. I even went looking for the original floor mats for the GT 350 and found a set. I added 15" correct wheel...American Racing torque thrust and BF Goodrich Radial T/As. The brakes, clutch and everything only has a total of approx. 5K miles since it's complete restoration. They coated the bottom of the car in Rino coating. It has all subconnectors and suspension of the original. The Atlantic Blue exterior and the Ford Performance White stripes provide correct colors for the car. If you can possibly find anything even close to this quality ..buy it!! This truly is a one of a kind recreation and is as close to the original as you will ever see. Drives, looks and Sounds like the car it should be. Never raced...but you can.

Titled as a 1966 Ford Gt 40, This replica was sold by Melson Motorsports previous to that it was known as a T-3 . It has a full tube frame chassis and did not use a donor car for the build. All parts were either new or re-manufactured.The engine is a new 4.6 Cadillac Northstar that is run by a Holley HP efi system that is totally programmable. It was built with custom made headers that wiill allow you to mount twin turbo's for more power if you need it. The transaxel is a Porsche 915 box that was rebuilt with a flipped ring gear. The engine is 300 hp stock can make 400 with a camshaft upgrade and 500-600 with turbo's.The front suspension is based on a Mustang II with the coil over shocks mounted inboard (race car style) to save un-sprung weight. The rear suspension uses tubular upper and lower control arms. All suspension components are fully adjustable. The front brake system is by BAER and uses 14" rotors and 4 piston calipers. The rear brakes are the fronts from a 1999 Mustang Cobra and are 13" The brake system has an adjustable Bias control in the cockpit.I have 2 sets of tires and wheel one for street and Hoosiers for track use. This car is street legal here in Utah registered as a classic car but does not have wipers , heater or a horn. It does have turn signals and brake lights. It was finished in 2010 and has 876 miles on it . Mostly I drive it out to Miller motorsports park and run a track day and drive it home.Feel free to ask any questions .

The Ford GT40 needs no introduction -- designed to be a Ferrari beater, winner of the 24 Hours of Lemans four years in a row, and the list goes on. With only around 100 original cars made, replicas with varying degrees of accuracy have been produced almost since the introduction of the original cars. Superperformance makes the best known (and most expensive) replicas today, but several smaller manufacturers have built nice examples over the years. American GT was one of those manufacturers -- they built a handful of very accurate cars in the late 1990s, supposedly derived from the KVA molds that descended directly from the Ford factory in England. This very car was the first American GT prototype and appeared in the company's brochure. Chris Bramhall, the head of American GT, drove this car for some time before he decided to cannibalize it for components to complete the second kit. A good friend and client of Motorcar Studio bought the partially-disassembled chassis in 2002 and began a six-year process to source (and custom fabricate) the components necessary to put this GT40 back on the road. The original silver paint was stripped and the body was repainted in Wimbledon White with Guardsman Blue racing stripes. The car was rewired nose to tail as there were several "first try" problems with the original wiring. A new air conditioning system was installed and the interior completely redone. A new HO 302 cubic inch V8 was built for the car with gorgeous custom headers and a four-barrel Holley carb; it's mated to a five-speed transaxle from a Porsche 911. Rear hub carriers were redesigned to accommodate slightly wider custom wheels and tires. As in the original GT40, this car has twin fuel tanks and gauges with a switch to toggle between the two. The car was completed (for the second time) in 2008 and has been enjoyed as a nice-weather driver (and very occasional weekend track toy) by our client ever since. Current Georgia registration and clear Georgia title both match the VIN on the car; registered and titled as a 1966 Ford GT40. Street legal with headlights, taillights, brake lights, blinkers, horn and wiper. Full-time rear camera with screen mounted on console. All service is up-to-date; it's an incredibly fun car to drive and always draws a crowd. For more information about this Ford GT40 replica for sale at Motorcar Studio in Atlanta, please call 404-692-5250. Click here for more photos of the car. Youtube video available here.

With a slippery shape and razor-edge lines that are every bit as wind cheating as they are alluring, the car LIVES to run; and anything less than triple-digit speeds is just a waste of its time! Built by Nostalgia Motorcars Ltd. of Rock Hill, South Carolina, and recently serviced by Automotive International of Charlotte, North Carolina, this CAV GT40 is about as close to riding a bullet as you can get. And, with less than 200 miles on its bright digital odometer, it's a fresh, fully sorted track machine that's ready to rock and roll! Looking for a legitimate continuation of Ford's original super car? Looking for a clean classic that's capable of almost inconceivable levels of performance? This incredible coupe is your ultimate thrill ride! BODYWORK/TRIM It's likely that the extreme, purpose-built nature of the GT40 doesn't really occur to most people until they see one up close. At just 40 inches tall, the driver is more or less lying in the cockpit rather than sitting. And that low-slung profile, combined with the car's buckled down nose and sawed off tail, creates one wicked looking custom! As a highly authentic replica of Ford's original GT40, this killer CAV utilizes a durable Vinylester body, which is much stronger than traditional resin, to create a fully sealed, noise-free sports car. That body, the product of 200 man-hours of skilled hand shaping, is mocked to its chassis long before the car hits final assembly. And that Vinylester surface adds both form and function by stiffening the car's frame during hard cornering and presenting a smooth canvas for top notch 2-stage. Speaking of top-notch paint, sprayed in-house and buffed to a brilliant shine, this Ford's contemporary and timeless coat of True Blue pigment creates classic aesthetics that will keep fans marveling. And, while it isn't easy to create a world-class show stopper out of complex resin shapes, the car's excellent build is a true testament to the 600 man-hours of labor invested by its first rate manufacturer. While this stunning Ford is best experienced in the flesh, look closely at our high resolution photos and you'll be able to see the amount of accurate and impressive detailing that was carefully baked in to the car's classic design. Up front, a slightly canted nosepiece, which provides cooling and triple-digit downforce, stacks correct Cibie headlights, clear driving lamps and chrome-trimmed parking lights behind aerodynamic Lexan covers. Behind those lamps, a deep diffuser funnels wind across polished, Monza-style fuel fillers and a tinted windshield that's cleared by a street legal wiper. Behind that windshield, vented Lexan side windows occupy traditional, guillotine-style doors that are equipped with flush-fitting, satin-finished handles. At the back of those doors, sculpted fenders hang massive air intakes between satin-finished cowl hinges. Between those fenders, a Lexan engine cover displays the car's "COBRA" branded mill in front of satin-finished heat dissipaters and a seamless ducktail spoiler. And below those dissipaters, dual-mode tail lamps frame a metal valance that's centered on traditional exhaust pipes. ENGINE By law, specialty vehicle companies like CAV America are not allowed to sell their cars with complete drivetrains. But they'll gladly provide suggestions that range from stoplight spooky to racetrack scary! Looking for the perfect blend of power and streetability, the owner of this coupe decided to opt for a reliable, 302 cubic inch Ford small block that was assembled by the techs at Nostalgia Motorcars Ltd. of Rock Hill, South Carolina. The long-rod mill's energy mixture is supplied by four 2-barrel Weber carbs, which are dressed in small air filters and braided fluid lines. That mixture travels in to free-breathing heads, which hang aluminum, "COBRA" branded valve covers over 7mm Standard Plus plug wires that are snapped onto an aftermarket points distributor. Heat is kept in check by an aluminum cross-flow radiator that's fitted with two SPAL puller fans. Spent gases are cycled through eight stainless steel pipes that correctly mimic Ford's original 'bundle of snakes' exhaust. And, from its chrome breathers all the way to its deep-sump oil pan, this clean small block is lean, mean and 100% ready to roll. DRIVETRAIN/SUSPENSION The bottom of this modern GT40 is as simple as it is technical, with the car's entire undercarriage, save for the engine and transmission, being covered in black, aerodynamic belly pans. The chassis is a TIG-welded, stainless monocoque, which rides on a fully independent suspension. Turns come courtesy of manual rack-and-pinion steering, which leads aggressive suspension geometry, adjustable anti-roll bar linkages, 16 adjustable rose joints and fully adjustable Competition coil-overs. Stops are provided by a power-assisted PBR brake system, which makes good use of four billet calipers, braided fluid lines and four 300mm vented rotors. Behind the engine, you'll find a tough hydraulic clutch, which bumps a rugged Getrag 5-speed that was sourced directly from Audi. All that track prowess grips through 15-inch Halibrands, which twist 235/60 Dunlop G/T Qualifier Radials in front of 295/50 Dunlop G/T Qualifier Radials. And the chassis' stiffness is greatly aided by a whole roster of precision parts that includes CNC-punched panels, laser-cut suspension components and stiff, billet aluminum uprights. INTERIOR Naturally, this Ford's interior is every bit as nice as its lightweight shell. Step over the car's 9.5-gallon, FIA-approved fuel cells and you'll find original-style bucket seats that wear upgraded leather surfaces under authentic brass grommets and modern Simpson race harnesses. In front of those seats, a stitched dash hangs clean VDO telemetry above correct Lucas switches and an original-style, adjustable pedal box. At the bottom of the car, clean carpet frames a dressed tunnel, which centers a small, leather-wrapped shifter in front of a Wilwood proportioning valve. Above that carpet, original-style Hartswell hardware secures light doors, which feature basic panels and small Lexan vent windows. In front of the driver, an aluminum steering wheel spins a thick, black rim. And behind the passengers, a broad Lexan window provides constant monitoring of the car's potent firepower. Everything in this purpose-built racer is virtually new, from its carpet all the way to its headliner. And, with the addition of a few street friendly refinements, the simplistic cockpit has become a surprisingly comfortable place to spend a fun day at the track. OUR SALE INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTATIONThe car's CAV GT specs sheet and build historyA CAV booklet coverA CAV key chain and leather key holder This storied Ford super car is an impressive, track-capable cruiser that's fully sorted and scary fast! With a slippery shape and razor-edge lines that are every bit as wind-cheating as they are alluring, the car LIVES to run; and anything less than triple-digit speeds is just a waste of its time! Recently serviced by Olthoff Racing, and upgraded by the pros at Holman Moody, this Superformance Mk I is about as close to riding a bullet as you can get. And, with less than 10K miles on its bright digital odometer, it's a fresh, fully-sorted track machine that's ready to rock and roll! Looking for a legitimate continuation of Ford's original Mk I? Looking for a classic that's capable of almost inconceivable levels of performance? This incredible Ford is your ultimate thrill ride! At just 40 inches tall, the driver is more or less lying in the cockpit rather than sitting. And that low-slung profile, when combined with the car's buckled down nose and sawed off tail, creates one wicked looking custom! As a highly authentic continuation of Ford's original GT40, this killer Superformance Mk I utilizes a pressed steel roof and high quality fiberglass to create a fully sealed, noise-free sports car. Hand layered for extra strength and rigidity, and attached to the chassis via composite adhesive, those fiberglass panels both stiffen the car's frame during hard cornering and align a smooth canvas for top notch, three-layer paint. And, speaking of top notch paint, timeless PPG pigment provides a classic look that'll have people marveling at its reflections for years to come. It isn't easy to create a world class show stopper out of complex resin shapes, and this GT40's excellent fit and finish is a testament to both the OEM quality of its manufacturer and the true talents of its builders. While this stunning Ford is best experienced in the flesh, look closely at our high resolution photos and you'll be able to see the amount of accurate and impressive detailing that was engineered into its design from day one. On the leading edge of the car's body, a 3M-protected front clip stacks correct Cibie headlights, clear driving lamps and chrome-trimmed parking lights behind aerodynamic Lexan covers. Between those lights, Satin Black bumperettes hang inside a slightly canted grille that provides both cooling and much needed triple-digit downforce. Opposite that grille, deep diffusers funnel wind across polished, Monza-style fillers for the car's FIA approved fuel tanks. Between those fillers, a tinted windshield, which is cleared by a street legal wiper, complements vented Lexan side windows and a traditional Gurney bubble. At the sides of the car, expressive fenders position massive air intakes behind satin-finished door handles, satin-finished cowl hinges and chrome racing mirrors. Between those fenders, a "Superformance" branded bulkhead displays the car's spectacular engine in front of a sleek heat dissipater and subtle metal spoiler. And below that spoiler, dual-mode tail lamps frame a mesh valance that's centered on a giant stainless exhaust system. By law, specialty vehicle companies like Superformance are not allowed to sell their cars with complete drivetrains. But they'll gladly provide suggestions that range from stoplight spooky to race track scary! Looking for the perfect blend of power and streetability, the previous owner of this Mk I decided to opt for a reliable, 347 cubic inch Dart Sportsman that was assembled by the techs at Vaseleniuck Engine Development in Denver, North Carolina. The mean mill's energy mixture is supplied by 8-stack Weber-style fuel injection that's dressed in braided fluid lines and chrome air cleaners. That mixture travels in to Air Flow Research heads, which hang Holman Moody valve covers and high quality roller rockers over forged SRP pistons, H-beam connecting rods and custom-hardened pushrods. That valvetrain combusts thanks to a tough steel crank and requisite Comp roller cam. Fire for that combustion comes courtesy of an MSD billet distributor and premium Ford Racing plug wires. That fire is kept in check by an aluminum cross-flow radiator and two electric puller fans. And spent gases are cycled through eight stainless steel pipes, two collectors and two mufflers that are packaged together to mimic Ford's original 'bundle of snakes' exhaust. From its chrome breathers all the way to its Aviaid oil pan, this clean small block is 100% ready to show. And first rate details, like ARP studs, a true roller timing set, March billet pulleys and a Melling high performance oil pump, ensure the car is more than just a curbside attraction! One of the coolest aspects of buying a Superformance GT40 is authenticity. You're getting a custom that's so true to Ford's design that two-thirds of its parts interchange with a factory-original car. That means, not only can it legally use the "GT40" moniker, it's also automatically recognized by the Shelby Registry. That's why Superformance marketing refers to this Mk I as a "continuation", and nowhere is that "continuation" more evident than under the skin. For starters, the car's entire undercarriage, save for the engine and rear axle, is covered in black, aerodynamic belly pans. Its zinc-coated chassis is an original-style monocoque set-up, which rides on an unequal length front A-arm and independent rear suspension. Turns come courtesy of manual rack and pinion steering, which utilizes a RAMLIFTpro hydraulic system and aggressive suspension geometry to provide the tight cornering GT cars are known for. Stops are provided by modern Wilwood Superlite brakes, which include 4-piston calipers, braided hoses and vented rotors. And behind the engine, a rugged ZF 5DS25 5-speed twists stout 3.77 gears. All that power flows through high quality Halibrand-style wheels, which turn 215/60R15 front and 295/50R15 rear Avon radials around traditional spinners. And the chassis' stiffness is greatly aided by a level of precision that includes over 240 laser-cut, bent or pressed components. Open this Ford's guillotine-style doors and you'll find an attractive Black interior that's every bit as authentic as its lightweight shell. Original-style bucket seats wear upgraded suede surfaces under authentic silver rivets and G-FORCE racing harnesses. At the front of the car, a Flat Black dash hangs correct Smiths telemetry, including an electronic speedometer, above correct Lucas switches and an original-style adjustable pedal box. At the bottom of the car, an offset, driver-biased tunnel centers an upgraded shifter on like-new carpet that wraps around a polished fire extinguisher and 10-gallon sill tanks. Above those tanks, original-style Hartswell door hardware secures small vent windows and driver's side controls for a standard air conditioning system. In front of the driver, an aluminum steering wheel features a colorful "FORD GT40" logo at the center of Satin Black spokes and a thick leather rim. And behind the passengers, a broad window provides constant monitoring of the car's massive firepower. Everything in this purpose-built racer is virtually new, from its carpet all the way to its headliner. And, with the addition of a few street friendly refinements, this simplistic cockpit has become a surprisingly comfortable place to spend a fun day at the track. The sale of this awesome Mk I includes a Manufacturer's Statement of Origin, a Superformance owner's manual and a simple steering wheel lock. This storied Ford super car is an impressive, track-capable cruiser that's fully-sorted and scary fast! The fact that it's professionally finished and packs show-stopping good looks is merely icing on the cake. Few cars can carry the legendary heritage of a GT40, but this Superformance Mk I is certainly worthy of the name. Don't miss your opportunity to own one of the most incredible classics on the planet!
