This vehicle's condition might as well be considered as new because it looks it AND DRIVES IT!! We've had a lot of work done on this beauty. She's got a brand new 350 V8 that sounds like its right out of the factory. Brand new chromed carburetor, along with extensive trunk work. The previous owner failed to mention that the trunk was made of the equivalent of tin foil, but we fixed that right up. I can say with an honest heart the trunk has ZERO RUST!! The under body of the car has an inch or two of rust, but thats nil for a car this old. All the hard work was done on this baby, theres a few minor things that need fixing like:Passenger Window doesnt roll up all the wayNeeds new sound system(couldnt figure it out, maybe you can)MPH Gauge is missing a wire, shouldnt cost a buck. It's got a powerful 2 Speed Power Glide TransmissionAbsolutely Gorgeous RimsBrand New Interior Thats it though, I kid' you not when I say this was the most fun I've ever had in a vehicleIm selling this because I really need a truck for my line of work and sooner is better. To me this car is worth around more the $42,000 range, but I unfortunately don't have the value of time.Looking for serious buyers, not conversation. I've got plenty more photos and videos for people seriously interested text me at (603)-731-1076 to talk on the phone or email me at [email protected] for more photos and or some videos.Asking for $20,000 **OBO**

This is a nice build on an absolutely rust free body, there are no rust patches anywhere. Engine is a 1968 396 bored .030 oversize effectively making it a 402. Features a GM steel crank, Comp Cams Mutha Thumper roller cam, Comp roller lifters, push rods and guide plates and Comp full roller rockers. Edelbrock aluminum intake with Holley 850 double pumper carb. Ignition is a new stock type HEI distributor. the compression is 9:1 so it runs fine on regular unleaded fuel, nothing exotic needed. Trans is a TCI Street Fighter TH400 with 2200 stall Street Fighter torque converter. Coated headers with X pipe and Flowmaster mufflers. The Chassis is all Chris Alstons Chassisworks. Includes a Chassisworks back half with 4 link fully adjustable suspension, Fab 9 axle housing, Strange center section with 5:13 gears, a spool and Strange axles. The spool is definitely not as bad on the street as many would have you believe. Front framework is Chassisworks Street Fighter setup with tubular upper and lower control arms, manual rack and pinion steering with QA1 adjustable coil over shocks on all 4 corners of the car. The side rails of the chassis are original GM but all other components have been upgraded. ALL chassis and suspension fasteners are grade 8 with nylock nuts. Weld wheels front and rear. Front tires are virtually new BF Goodrich, rears are 33 X 19.5 Micky Thompson Sportsman Pros. Brakes include Wilwood manual master cylinder, Wilwood front discs and calipers and Ford rear calipers and rotors. The brakes on this car have an awesome pedal and stop the car in a hurry. Car features RJS 5 point harnesses on both seats. The driveshaft is a custom built unit with heavy duty U joints. The cooling system consists of a 2 row aluminum radiator, clutch fan and shroud. It works well, I don't think I have ever seen it over 190 degrees, and that was a 90 degree day this past summer in traffic. The rear wheel well openings have been radiused by 2 inches for tire clearance. All rear tubs and trunk floor are steel, not aluminum; welded, not riveted. All chassis work and metal fab was completed by Automotive Design Center in Posen IL, over $20,000 just for their work. Fuel cell is 15 gallon foam filled with sending unit so the gas gauge works. The interior is pretty much stock with the exception of late model Chrysler bucket seats and an 8 point Chassisworks roll cage. The side door bars are removable for street use. While not perfect show quality, the black base coat / clear coat paint on the car is pretty damn nice. Paint has been sanded smooth and buffed to a wonderful luster. The body work is straight and shows well. There are some flaws in the paint, a couple chips and scuffs. Just stuff you would expect from normal use. Overall, I would say the paint is better than 90%. All weatherstripping in the car has been replaced this past summer with Soffseal brand gaskets. The bumpers and majority of the trim are original but all look quite nice. No peeling chrome or dings in the trim. There is one dent in the rear bumper, if you look close at the pics you should be able to pick it out. This car is sinister looking in black and makes an obnoxious statement when driving. It drives quite well, but without power steering or power brakes it can be a bit of a workout at times. The steering is straight with no pulling and the brakes stop solid, again with no pull to either side. It is noisy inside, if you have never driven a pro street car, let me describe it. There is NO rubber mounting in the rear suspension, all joints are solid steel joints so every bump in the road gets transmitted into the chassis and cage. While there are bead rolls in the rear tin work to help stiffen it up, it still rattles quite a bit. There is no sound deadner in this car. While under cruise conditions, the exhaust is fairly mellow but when you get on it, it sure does make some noise. The car runs and drives very well. There is no radio in the car and no heater or air conditioning. The holes in the firewall for all of these items have been welded shut and smoothed over for a nice sanitary appearance.

Hasn't been driven in about 10 years.Older restoration that could use some minor updates; Probably needs new exhaust from headers back, could use new tires, carb needs a rebuild, etc.I purchased this car in 1982 and have owned it ever since. When i got the car the odometer showed 103,000 but it was broken. I repaired the odometer when I rebuilt the car in the mid 80's and the odometer now shows 4350, which is how many miles i have driven the car since the rebuild.I had this vehicle appraised in 2007 and it was valued at $22,000 at that time. The current NADA Classic car guide shows a value of $31,500 for a car in "Average Retail" condition. Feel free to contact me with any questions.

A handsome cruiser that's ready to enjoy at the local cruise night, it represents Chevy's top-of-the-line in terms of style and performance. And thanks to a strong-running 327, it's a genuine pleasure to drive on the street, not just a pretty face. The fastback profile of the big Imp looks fast just sitting still, and in 1967, there was no faster way to transport yourself and four friends than this. Finished in gorgeous code F Marina Blue (which is the car's original color), you can park this car anywhere and use it to navigate it's so brilliant. The crease running along the top of the quarter panels stands out thanks to great attention to detail, and every panel was hand-fitted so that the gaps are quite good all the way around. The two-stage urethane paint has a shine that buffs up nicely even though it's a few years old and has been driven on the street. Up front there's a polished grille, bright chrome bumpers, and traditional Impala 3-element taillights out back. We've sold quite a few Impalas over the years, but the big blue ones seem to be everyone's favorites. And yes, it's a real SS, so it comes by those badges honestly. Like the exterior, the interior is simply a nicely restored stock setup, complete with bucket seats and a center console. All the upholstery is as nice as the bodywork, with original patterns and materials expertly replicated, and only the steering wheel stands out as not as nice as the rest. Beautifully finished instruments show sharp markings and clear lenses, and there's an aftermarket tach and auxiliary gauges under the dash. And it's so correct that even the original AM radio is still in the center of the dash. In back, this big Imp offers full-sized comfort even for rear seat passengers as well as what may very well be one of the largest trunks ever fitted to an American car. It's finished properly with spatter paint and a correct mat, plus a full sized Rally wheel and spare tire. As I said, there's decent horsepower under the hood in the form of a 327 cubic inch small block V8. Equipped with a Edelbrock intake and 4-barrel carb, it makes smooth power, yet is happy to trundle around town without complaint. The engine bay was prepped and painted as well as the exterior, and that lovely 327 was dressed in Chevy Orange with handsome finned valve covers similar to those found on later Z/28s. Things like the air cleaner, accessories and radiator are original-spec, and you'll also note it has power steering and brakes, which are practically mandatory on a car this big. A TH350 3-speed automatic transmission is built to take the abuse, and spins a rugged 12-bolt rear, which hangs on a fresh set of shocks. Stock cast iron exhaust manifolds feed a new Flowmaster dual exhaust system, but it's otherwise quite stock underneath. The bright Marina Blue finish is perfectly complemented by the flashy Rally wheels with polished trim rings and sitting on 225/70/15 Goodyear radials. Big Impalas still represent a lot of car for the money, just as they did in the '60s. This one is in exactly the right condition for easy cruising and lots of fun without worries. Maybe survival rates are low but we suspect that the guys who own these cars love them so much they just don't want to let them go. And with this car's strong-running 327, handsome good looks, and a top that goes down, it's easy to understand why they're so beloved. There's nothing that says summertime better than a big, red convertible, and this handsome Imp wears the vivid paint better than most. Originally Marina Blue, it was repainted a few years ago and the workmanship is quite good throughout, with no signs of the original color, even in the tough spots like the trunk and door jambs. All the bodywork is in great shape, with those creases looking sharp enough to give you a paper cut and good gaps that suggest this convertible has led an easy life. Paint with a deep shine accentuates the car's handsome good looks and this is a real SS, so the badges on the grille and deck lid are legit. It continues the Impala's three-element taillight with a stylized version of the look and all the chrome and stainless trim sparkles against the bright red paint. It's hard to not get attention in this car. The code 895 white bucket seat interior is correct for this car and as an SS, the buckets and console were standard equipment. The combination of the white seats and black carpets and dash makes for a classic look that's easy on the eyes and from the looks of it, almost everything inside has been restored or replaced quite recently. The seat covers are in excellent condition with few signs of use and no UV damage, the dash pad hasn't been dried out by the sun, and the back seat looks hardly used. The gauges are probably original and still look great, but since they only cover the basics, a full set of auxiliary dials with a vintage Stewart-Warner look were installed under the dash. The steering wheel offers a leather wrap and a "suicide" knob and yes, this car does have factory A/C, a nice find on a ragtop of any kind from this period. You also get an AM/FM radio, a nice white power convertible top with matching boot, and a cavernous trunk that's neatly finished with a set of carpets, correct mat, and a spare tire with its own cover. We have every reason to believe the 327 cubic inch V8 under the hood is this car's original 275 horsepower engine, as it wears a proper date code and specs out properly. It's been dressed up with finned valve covers, an aluminum Edelbrock intake manifold and matching 4-barrel carburetor, as well as a chrome air cleaner with reproduction decals, so it looks period correct. Chevy Orange paint pops against the satin black engine bay and there's nothing like a small block Chevy V8 for smooth torque production, even in a big ragtop like this. The 2-speed PowerGlide automatic transmission is unobtrusive and works well, and the original 10-bolt rear end seems to have some relatively tall gears in it, so this cruiser just loafs along on the highway. Hooker long-tube headers build torque and feed a burbling dual exhaust system with glasspack-style mufflers and there are KYB shocks handling the suspension. Factory Rally wheels with big 235/70/15 white-letter radials give it a sporty look without upsetting the luxury car ride. A big, handsome convertible with V8 power, A/C, and no stories, all at a bargain price. Pretty hard to go wrong with that. This handsome full-sized SS delivers on its good looks, too, with a strong-running small block V8 and a luxurious interior that lives up to the Impala's "top of the line" position. The paint is likely an older respray that's pretty close to the original code GG Granada Gold. It's got a decent shine and a bit of patina that seems to suit this car just fine. It's been touched up here and there and there are signs of age in the finish, but it's not crying out for a repaint. The bodywork underneath is nicely preserved, offering straight panels that reflect nicely and those dramatic creases in the fenders that give it the illusion of speed even when sitting still. Those might just be the biggest quarter panels ever created, yet they're crisp and straight and not rotted, which is a fate that befell many of this car's siblings. Plenty of shiny chrome is there to remind everyone that this is not a garden-variety Chevy and it still incorporates the Impala's traditional three-element taillights. There are subtle SS badges on the grille and deck lid, and this car comes by them honestly, as it is a real code 168 SS V8. But even without those little badges, this would be a car that earns respect on the street. The attractive gold interior is nicely finished and offers a unique front bench that does its best to look like sporty buckets. It's quite likely that the interior is original, although things like the door panels look so good that maybe they've been replaced at some point, it's hard to tell. That's actually a good thing, because the whole car has an all-of-a-piece look and feel, so nothing stands out as too nice or too deteriorated. Big round gauges still show bright markings and needles and the SS steering wheel makes them easy to see. This car features factory A/C, a somewhat rare and desirable option, along with a factory radio in the center of the dash. The carpets are in excellent condition and aside from some minor discoloration, the back seat looks quite fresh. The trunk, as you'd expect, is truly massive and features the original mat as well as an ancient bias-ply spare tire that certainly dates back to the car's early days. We have every reason to believe that the 327 cubic inch V8 under the hood is original to the car, although there's no proof. The date code falls within the right window of 1967 and it's dressed like it's been there for 45 years. There's bright Chevy Orange paint on the block that has probably been there from the beginning, along with a factory-style air cleaner and ram's horn exhaust manifolds. Power steering and power front disc brakes are mandatory on a car this size and it has a nice burble from the dual exhaust system. A TH400 3-speed automatic transmission was a good idea in a car with this much sheetmetal to haul around and the heavy-duty 12-bolt rear end doesn't even whimper when you mash the throttle. The underside is unrestored and a bit crusty, but there's really nothing to hide her and it does ride and track rather well. It's finished with a set of handsome Rally wheels and fat 235/75/15 Toyo whitewall radials all around. Big and dramatic, this handsome Impala offers a lot of luxury/performance sheetmetal for the money.
