It has an RPM intake, and a 830 pro carb. The drive train is a 4 speed manual with a 6 pack lower end with 4:56 gears. We haven't had the car dyno'd, but would estimate it having around 450-500 hp. Hello I am selling my satellite convertible. It has emblems of a satellite sport but is only a satellite. Was a 318 car, now a 440 motor. Miles unknown. The fender tag was missing when I bought the car. Rad support is stamped and matches dash vin tag. Motor compartment is still the original blue same as the repaint that was done years ago. Most basic stuff works on the car.  The following items are new on my car. New convertible correct grain  top, new top hydraulic pistons , new power top lines lines and weather striping. Top frame was also restored while apart. New  Fuel lines , fuel pump. All new , Fuel tank and sending unit, gauge works some times only. Steering box, all the front end parts, ball joints tie rods, sleeves, pitman arm, idler arm. P/S Hoses. All engine hoses, belts, Radiator, starter, HEI distributor. Carburetor,  Double trans cooler, Trans lines. Front disc brakes ...all new calipers  with vented rotors. All new factory brake lines in car, master cylinder, new booster, brake vacuum pump, ( because it does not get enough vacuum to feed the power brakes so a pump was added, I really hate it because it makes noise when car is not running every once in a while. The engine runs good and has a brand new edelbrock electric choke carb. But when the car sits I think fuel runs back to the tank. because you need to crank it until gas gets back to carb and fires right up. I never worked on adjusting the new carb and it drives fine but wants to stall at a traffic lights. It had a 750 double pumper on it and was faster and ran better but had no choke. I already gave the old carb away.  New large front sway bar with poly bushings. All shocks, new 5 leaf, rear springs. rear shock cross mount. New bumpers. rear brakes.All new , Dash cover, carpet, seat covers, stereo, speakers, under carpet sound deadening. New heater core, heater box restored, new dash vents. To many things to remember. Car was a 318 auto.  Now 440 with 8 3/4 posi rear. Factory HP exhaust manifolds added with new H pipe and all new exhaust front to back.  All original floors. Car is very clean underneath. Original trunk floor also. But was cut to access shock mount bar replacement. Replaced with factory style AMD brace. Quarters where repaired years ago.  Gtx/roadrunner hood.  Paint is driver quality done years ago. Black stripe on hood was never added and you can see the lines under paint where it had stripes. Quarters show age and you can see where they where repaired years ago, and lots of small dings on top flat areas of rear quarters from hail damage when tail stuck out garage.  The car has chips, dings ,scratches, few bubbles on center of hood, some white spots from a new car cover that claimed to be waterproof and messed up my paint even more. and at this point the car should be repainted for show or enjoy as is and not worry where you take it. It is a nice driver as is. I have $30,000 invested and just never have time to drive it. It just has been sitting in my garage.  I think gas is going bad from sitting so long again. I drove there this afternoon to check the car out so I could take new pictures and give an updated description. Although there is rust on the undercarriage the body is solid and so are the frame and floor pans. The car has not been started in 3 years because the starter is bad. The drivers front brakes rusted and the wheel will not turn. You must have a trailer with a wench attached to load and haul away the car.I cannot assist you in this process. Built 3/25/66 Lynch Road Assembly, Detroit, MI VIN RP23-H61-240525 Shipped 4/17/66 to Secord Chrysler Plymouth, Meriden, CT I found this Satellite in eastern Pennsylvania with 86,000 miles on the odometer, 6000 of which had been put on since 1970! It still had the original alternator, water pump, starter, carbs, distributor, master cylinder, wheel cylinders, shifter, and of course engine, transmission, and differential. All of these items are still correct and original to the car. The car was purchased new at Secord Chrysler Plymouth in Meriden, Connecticut, by Richard and Kaye Patterson. Secord Chrysler Plymouth was famous for selling Hi Performance cars in the area in the 60’s and early 70’s. The Patterson’s were a middle aged couple when they made the purchase and bought the car as their only form of transportation. The only modifications they made were to add “Richard” and “Kaye” on the chrome molding on the dash below the ignition key and glove box, respectively (see pictures). They also had the car undercoated before driving it home. They drove the car a lot and put a lot of miles on it the first six or seven years. They read an article in the local paper about the 50 best automotive investments. Mrs. McAllister was very proud to show me the article where the 66 Satellite Hemi was #33. Mrs. McAlister and her husband bought the car from their aging friends for an undisclosed amount of money and they had at least part of their retirement plan! They also bought a 79 Trans Am, another Mopar, and an MG! Soon after purchasing the car, their son began a light restoration project on the car. It included having the engine and transmission professionally rebuilt, and having the car painted. When the engine was disassembled the real root of the issue was obvious; the cup plug had fallen out of the bottom of the intake manifold and crankcase gases were being sucked into the intake. That was quickly fixed with some skillful TIG welding. The car was once again road ready in the early 2000’s. Mrs. McAlister and her husband drove it on nice days but put very few miles on it. Once again something began to make noise and caused the car to be parked. The Dana 60 differential was making a very loud growling noise! As a result, the car sat for 10+ years once again. When I bought the car from Mrs. McAlister, she told me the history of the car, and gave me every bit of paperwork that she had for the car including the original window sticker, a copy of the past titles, and a copy of when the car was paid off in 1969 by Mr. and Mrs. Patterson. The original master cylinder was leaking, the differential sounded like a bag of broken glass, but the engine ran well and the transmission was perfect. The restoration wasn’t flawless, but nothing was ruined or lost in the years of storage and minor use. The window sticker from the last required Pennsylvania inspection was still on the windshield. It was dated 1973. In a true testament to the car sitting for so long, the ring gear was solid rust on the half that was not submerged in the diff fluid. The main case bearings had spun, requiring some tricky machine work on a boring mill, and some special shims to bring it back to its durable original condition. It sports the stock 3.54:1 ratio. I restored the car over the past year and have done it to the best of my knowledge exactly as it was delivered in 1966 to Mr. and Mrs. Patterson. I chose to leave the undercoating on the floorpans since it was in perfect shape and allows me to enjoy the car and use it and drive it without having to clean the underneath. Built 3/25/66 Lynch Road Assembly, Detroit, MI Shipped 4/17/66 to Secord Chrysler Plymouth, Meriden, CT I found this Satellite in eastern Pennsylvania with 86,000 miles on the odometer, 6000 of which had been put on since 1970! It still had the original alternator, water pump, starter, carbs, distributor, master cylinder, wheel cylinders, shifter, and of course engine, transmission, and differential. All of these items are still correct and original to the car. The car was purchased new at Secord Chrysler Plymouth in Meriden, Connecticut, by Richard and Kaye Patterson. Secord Chrysler Plymouth was famous for selling Hi Performance cars in the area in the 60’s and early 70’s. For sale is a 1969 Plymouth Satellite located in our Indianapolis showroom. This beautifully restored 1969 Satellite went through a three year long complete nut and bolt restoration and is sure to bring home trophies for its next owner. This 1969 Plymouth Satellite is powered by its built 500 CID stroker V8 engine, backed by a 727 Torqueflite 3-speed automatic transmission, running to a 8 3/4 posi-trac rear end with Auburn 3.91 gears all with around 500 miles on the build. The engine build started with a 440 CID block bored and stroked to a 500 CID monster that is putting out some serious torque and horsepower. The crank is a 4.150 stroke connected to 6.760 H-Beam rods and Ross dished pistons measuring a 4.375 bore. The cam is a .509 lift, .292 duration that has a great lope and is street /strip suitable. The 346 heads were milled, ported, and polished with new Ferrea Valves installed. Sitting on top is a low profile Offenhauser 2x4 intake with two 600-CFM Edelbrock carburetors that feed this awesome Mopar. The exhaust fumes exit through a set of headers that dump out to a dual 2 1/2 inch exhaust system with cutouts and into a set of Borla XR-1 NHRA Race Mufflers that put a sweet deep tone. The 727 Torqueflite transmission was also rebuilt with a turbo-action reverse manual valve body, deep transmission pan and pickup, and outfitted with a Cheetah SCS Shifter. Options on this 1969 Plymouth Satellite include: AM/FM Radio with CD Player, Power Steering, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, Aluminum Alloy Wheels, and Raised White Letter Radial Tires. The body was sent off for bead blasting and then prepped and sprayed with a gorgeous Luxo Blue Metallic paint that absolutely shines. After paint, this mean Mopar was sent to the trim shop to have a new black vinyl top put on along with having the seats and door panels recovered and a new headliner and carpeting to finish it off. This \'69 Satellite rolls on a set of 15\" Cragar Sport Stars wrapped in BF Goodrich Radial T/A\'s on all four corners. If you are wanting to hit the drag strip, this car also comes with a rear set of matching Cragars wrapped in sticky Mickey Thompson ET Street Drag Radials measuring 275/60/15.
