The exterior looks beautiful the paint is in great shape, the chrome looks new, no scratches no rust showing only thing I see is a dent on the lower front fender on the passenger side. The interior looks great for is age shows very little signs of wear, seats looks great needs some little misc items and new headliner installed which is included with the car. Under the hood the engine compartment looks great very clean. Under the car its very solid and all appears original except for a the truck pan which was replaced. 1969 Pontiac GTO (a real one with full PHS docs) Original 400cid engine was rebuilt a few years ago it has about 3000 miles on it. Selling to buy a minivan.....yep....cool muscle car to dual sliding, 8 passenger box....(I am open to trading for a late model Honda Odyssey touring with less than 50k miles) The good:Black paint is shiny and gets lots of thumbs up when it's out. Always stored in garage. There are only 2 small bubbles (see pictures). Car was originally a darker green color, good color change done about 15 years ago. (all jams, detailed, hard to find evidence of color change and who wants a green car!)underside of car is all original with no rust. Gotta love dry Colorado!Black interior in excellent condition, no rips tears or stains on anything. Has shoulder beltsDash is in excellent conditionAll gauges work (unplugged the oil gauge, it started leaking inside. Just need to get a new line gasket and hook it back up)Engine is original, runs strong, no smoke or noisesRear end is originalTransmission rebuilt same time as engine, shifts perfect.tires are older but in great condition with no cracking and lots of tread.Exhaust sounds great. newer mufflers.Will pass any international inspection (ie: no cracked glass, no rust, all lights work, etc...)new edelbrock carb (still have the original, comes with car) Starts right up, every time.No oil leaks The bad:headlight doors do go up and down.....most of the time... that vacuum system is finicky.original 4 speed transmission was stolen from shop when the auto was put in. So far all the body work in done, Roll cage installed, 6.0 LS2 engine and 6 speed trans from a 2006 GTO has been installed, A custom center console has been built, Custom full length headers including full length exhaust, Performance heads and Cam installed, Convo-Pro wheels, and all rust removed and body in mint condition. The only thing left to do is paint, wire up the electrical, and interior and front clip. I know I'm going to take a loss, but i would rather someone have this project and make it something great then to have it and it slowly rot away. All new suspension, 1 inch torsion bars front and rear, tubular lower control arm (by Global West) and 4 wheel disk drilled and slotted Rotters (by Bear) to stop this Beast. This car turns heads so fast you may cause neck injuries. Has original block, matching numbers has been bored .30 over and original crank. The crank was balanced and polished. The heads were replaced with a Kauffman 356-T6 aircraft aluminum heads, with heart shaped fast burn valve chambers 74CC 270 CFM 211/177 Valves (Ferrea Valves) with Roller Rockers 1.65 Turned by a double roller timing chain, all hoses are New GM or braided. This vehicle does not drip one drop on the floor. The Tranny Pan is luverred aluminum you could park it on your living room carpet. The 400 turbo has been rebuilt with all bullet proof guts and a 2200-2600 Stall speed Torque converter. Shifted by Hurst auto Tranny, His and hers shifter with the proper badge on the deck lid. The restoration is brand new and all together this car has brand new paint and restoration will bring home trophies form any car show. There is an 8 point roll cage was custom built by professional racing speed shop. You have to look close to even see it. It follow all the contours of the vehicle and hidden behind the dash and in the trunk. The interior is something to behold almost flawless. There is a new stereo/CD with the wiring to put an AMP and subwoofer in the future. This car has new Cragers and new tires, all super shinny! Since I purchased the vehicle, we have fixed the hide away head lights with aftermarket electric system professionally installed, changed the carb. New manifold covers, matching air cleaner and more chrome in engine compartment. New hood with RPM gauge in hood, new paint. It is now the correct GM Carousel Red/Huggar orange and the Judge Trim package with wing on the trunk lid. It looks just awesome, it drives awesome. It’s time to make it someone’s else’s baby.
