Up for your consideration is a 70 Chevelle that was taken apart several years ago. Previous owner has installed new floor pans, partial quarters, trunk pan, trunk drop offs, inner and outer wheel wells and the fenders are aftermarket. (note he sanded them and now they have a light layer of surface rust) The body is back on the frame with new body bushings. Also installed was a new fuel line. The car has new airshocks in the back. It has tubular upper and lower bars installed to the original 10 bolt. Not installed is Heidt's upper and lower front control arms. Also a set of new Baer duel piston brakes with slotted rotors and 2" drop spindles. The engine is a 350 with a 350 trans. The 1970 Chevelle SS is one of the most counterfeited models in the muscle car hobby. It is also one of the easiest to reproduce. In addition, virtually every SS component is now available from aftermarket suppliers. Building a clone is as easy as ordering parts and assembling the car. a beautiful 1970 Chevelle--496 big block with aluminum heads, 10.5 to 1 pistons, comp cam comparable to ls6, ls6 low rise intake manifold with holley 750 double pump carb , electronic ignition-less than 1000 miles--runs great and sounds like music-headers with new dynomax ultraflow mufflers with correct cow bell chrome tips tail pipes-automatic transmission with a hughes 2000 stall converter that is just enough for cam idle quality but still very drivable on highway, 12 bolt positraction differential, -----this a factory ac car that I did install classic air compressor and condenser but I didn't want to go to complete kit so if in the future, it could be changed to all factory if so desired, and I do have a factory compressor and most of the brackets. I also installed a factory replacement evaporator coil just last week. so ac does work as it should. car has power steering and power brakes with tilt steering. New seat covers front and back with new seat foam. It has new carpet and when it was all out, I used sound deadening insulation under carpet, behind all door panels and behind the back seat between seat and trunk as well as under the package tray. the original dash carrier was pretty rough where someone had mounted a cb microphone and I couldn't stand seeing the holes so I replaced dash carrier with chrome rings around the gauges, I also at that time replaced cluster lens where the old was little scratched--I replaced dash pad with new clips, classic radio with blue tooth but I never really turn it on, id rather listen to the cam lop. 14 inch rims as well as the spare tire-glass is pretty good except I did Replace the left rear glass, the back window has some scratches and I planned to replace it but haven't yet. this car has been to 5 car shows and 2 of which were judging shows and out of 150 cars, i took home 1 of the top 40 trophies and out of 250 cars i was in the top 75. countless hours in block sanding before and after paint, buffed to mirror shine and if you know anything about owning a black car, you know it has to be straight. car was original paint code 48-green with black top--it had been painted black already before i got it so i stayed with black-trim code 756--i just received all the parts to make cowl hood flap functional, when i bought the car it had the dome hood and since i was repainting, i have always liked the function hood so it was good time to replace it.in my opinion-paint is a 9 out of 10. body is a also a 9 but if someone was to install vinyl top, it would be a 10 but i personally don't care for the vinyl top cars.the title shows 39000 and the odometer shows around 40500 let the pictures do the rest of the talking thank you for your time call or text john 8593966189 On Jul-29-15 at 22:41:43 PDT, seller added the following information: New shocks including rear air . Up for sale is my 1970 Chevelle malibu. This car is a project car and has been sanded down, but has a very solid foundation. The floors are solid and the whole undercarriage of the car has been painted. It has a 10 bolt rear end. The doors close like new and has no bondo. The rear quarter panels had minor rust but were cut out. I have 2 brand new quarter panels that just need to be welded on. The rear drivers side inner rear wheel has minor rust as well. You can see in the pictures where the trunk closes, it had rust as well but was also cut out and replaced. It does have the cowl induction hood with the flap, but does have minor rust. The interior has bucket seats and I also have the head rest that will go with the car. I do have both bumpers, but they were taken off. I have the front bumper brand new still in the box that will as well go with the car. The car has a new electric fuel pump and sender in the gas tank. The car was running before but pulled out the motor. It has motor mounts set up for a big block. I do have the front light bezels, they just need some good polishing. I do have the rest of the chrome molding that goes around the windshield. The car is a very solid project. Car does have a clear and clean title.
