Runs Strong and very smooth. This is a 1970 VW Beatle with obvious signs of wear however. The headliner and interior are in pretty nice shape recently replaced. recently serviced and I was told the engine was rebuilt with less than 7K miles on top end. There is a small oil leak from the rear of the engine but other than that in great shape and runs without missing a beat long distances. This is a great car and if you have VW experience even better. This was a daily driver and still is. All signals and lights work, has a CD stereo, nice interior, good battery, brakes, tires, windows etc. There is minimal spots of surface rust just from paint chip but the frame and body are clean under various coats of paint. The present pearl white paint job looks good.

Up for sale is a beautifully maintained 1970 VW Bug Convertible Here are the things which have been redone on the car less than 5 years ago. - Chasis has 38k miles, engine was completely rebuilt 18k miles ago. They changed new fuel pumps, carbs, pistons, jugs, bushings, etc - New rubber gaskets all the way around the car - 3 new fenders - Repainted 8 years ago - New pressure plate, throwout bearings, clutch disk less than 5k miles ago - New vinyl top and top cover - New seats (vinyl all replaced) Heres what it needs to be PERFECT. - NEW FLOOR PANELS (ALL FOUR) - WINDSHIED WIPER DOESNT WORK - FUEL GAUGE DOESNT WORK other than that the car is in excellent condition for its age. This car has always been garaged kept.. completely pampered. The gentleman is no longer able to get into car which is why he is selling it! Serious bidders and buyers only. Beautiful 1970 VW Karmann Ghia. strong running rebuilt original 1600 single port, 4spd, never wrecked, original color. I bought this from an 82 yr. old that restored it and never drove it because he couldn't get in/out. It was Restored several years ago and not really driven until this year, paint shines great, garage kept. Its a nice and clean classic. Gets more compliments than any vehicle I have ever driven. Runs great down the interstate 70-75mph no problem, factory disc brakes in the front. The clock and original radio still work. It still has the original AC system. I installed a rebuilt original style compressor, new dryer, expansion valve, cooling fan for the condenser. I resealed the under dash unit. I haven't hooked the electrical up to it and haven't tried to charge it. The vintage empi gt steering wheel pictured isn't included. I have a complete brand new original steering wheel that will be installed. The nose is clean without chips and has never been damaged. The doors, hood, engine lid all close nice and tight. The paint is base/clear. The body is straight without dent/dings and the paint is smooth. The chassis is solid. The passenger rear part of the floor has a previous repair shown in pictures. The carpet is new, seats door panels, headliner, visors look to have been replaced. The instrument panel and dash pad are original. Overall a cool classic that can be driven and taken to the car shows. I just washed it and took it to a show and received a second place trophy for the vw class. clean TN title in my name. mike 615-604-2567
