350 Chevy 4 speed manual, not sure on the gears, lots of chrome in engine. Pump or hose for the convertible top has a slow leak and needs repairing. The top was working (needs fluid). Drives good. Has a battery shut of and a after market stereo, very loud (Good base). Has custom exhaust sounds nice. I drive it to car shows, meets and cruise it everywhere. Real head turner everywhere it goes. The paint is has a scratch on the rear drivers quarter panel and a crack over the rear tire on the passenger side quarter panel. It was already painted when I bought it. Paint is not show quality. TO MY SURPRISE I REMOVED THE SEAT AND THE FLOORS LOOKED SUPER NICE , UNDER THE SEAT WAS THE BUILD SHEET, AND AGAIN TO MY SURPRISE THE YF3 CODE WAS THERE AND INDICATED IT IS A TRUE HEAVY CHEVY 4 SPEED, POSI CAR WITH V8 TURBO FIRE ENGINE. I ACTUALLY MOVED AND DROVE THE CAR AROUND MY YARD AND THE BRAKES WORK, AND CLUTCH SEAMS GOOD. UNREAL! NOT BEEN ON THE ROAD SINCE 1982. I PURCHASED SOME SUPER NICE MODERN 1X8 WHELS AND GREAT TREAD 235/15 RADIALS AN DROVE IT AROUND THE BLOCK, NOT BAD FOR OVER 30 YEARS IN A BARN///////// I THINK I WOULD PERSONALLY ATTEMPT REGISTERING IT AND PUTTING IT ON THE ROAD ! I drove it on and off the trailer a few months ago before I removed the engine. The brakes are still firm and surprisingly work well. Underhood wiring is there as well. Gas tank still has some good gas in it. The wheels are rally wheels with fair condition trim rings. A good friend of mine who really likes these trucks said the frame is solid and the trailing arms look good too. He said the bench seat appeared to be original and that the steering column and gearbox were desirable on these trucks. You get what is pictured, I have nothing else for it.
