This Bronco is heavily documented, we have receipts and paperwork since new. Sold new in Colorado Springs in 1973. Near 6000.00 in receipts in the past 2 years. Body and Paint Original body with no repairs when painted in 2000. Pretty straight with an older driver quality paint job. Originally a medium brown now 07 Prowler Yellow. Paint is showing some wear as Bronco was daily driven for a number of years in the Colorado Rockies. Floors, rockers, inner fenders, door hinge pillars are all very solid. Minimal rust spots pictured. Typical inner fender rust by the firewall corner. Rear fenders cut to fit new 33 inch tires. Perfect for a great usable Bronco or solid one to restore/modify. Chassis, Suspension and Brakes Original, no lift. Newer springs, rust free frame, Suspension is tight. Manual steering and brakes, but both are very nice and work as they should. Dual shock mounts on rear but running singles. New tank skid plates. Nice bushings. Rides nice and handles well. New shocks. Powertrain Original engine in place, Dual exhaust, just over 100000 miles on truck. No recipt for rebuild but does not smoke knock etc. Runs great. Starts up easily. Has new reman Factory 2bbl Carb. Trans is original 3spd, rebuilt with new second and third gears, Clutch new and rebuilt from inside to out, including new pushrod, rod boots, shift lever bushing etc. Transfer case was rebuilt at the same time. Have receipts for all. Over 3000.00. Shifts perfect. Tight. 4WD works perfect and shifts right in. New warn hubs on front diff and new custom diff cover. Runs and drives nice, starts easy, does not overheat. New high torque starter and battery. Interior and Misc Interior is in excellent shape with some wear and splitting on the original Front seats. Floors are newly coated Rhino style, with custom floor mats. Front seats are original, rear seat is recovered. Previous owner had children so has new full four point belts in rear. Also roll bar mount shoulder belts in front. Heating system completely rebuilt and auxillery heater added for super cold days. Tuffy lock box console. Nice stereo. New door panels and armrests. New dash pad, inner rear quarter covers, Wiper cover, visors, cluster bezel, and column bezel. Interior is pretty sweet and outfitted well. Outer chrome and trim in great shape and mostly new. New Bumpers front and rear. New grille chrome. New emblems, new light bezels, etc. New antenna. New wheels and tires in April 2016. About 2000 miles on my upgrades which include: Completely redesigned dash painted to match exterior with Autometer white face gauges New steering shaft and steering ram New Radiator Vintage air ac system BC broncos modular soft top with tinted windows Teralow geared twin stick Dana 20 transfer case Rebuilt C4 with auxilary external fan cooler New Built Dana 60s front and rear widened to extra width for stability, locked with Arb airlockers and 5.38 gears, 4 linked and Trussed, with disc brakes on all four corners Complete Custom built Coilover suspension system with Teraflex jeep longarms Currie Antirock swaybars front rear RhinoLined protofab front and rear with rhino lined rock sliders and tire carrier Smittybilt 8000 pd winch with synthetic rope Tuffy glove box tuffy middle console which use the same key Satin black family rollcage with gussets and handles on every corner tied into frame Smoked led bulb tailights smoked side markers (5)17 inch Raceline beadlock wheels with 5 38 kevlar mtrs (spare is 37) -rock rings on the beadlocks were used on a previous rig and do have some rock rash. Lights and turn signals work, hazards work, gauges all work, dual gas tanks both work Motor is new crate Ford Racing 302 with finally assembly by Hendricks Motorsports in Detroit Cosmetically the paint still looks good but as can be expected from an occasional driver there are a few nicks, a small bubble on the hood, a chip down to the original red paint color on the windshield frame hinge, and small scratches in some areas. Mechanically it is completely sound and would make an outstanding drive to the trail rig. All the cancerous rusted areas were addressed and repaired correctly by South County Customs as seen in the Truckin Magazine article. It needs a new radio (the 1990s Sony one in the tuffy console finally gave up) and some new 6x9 boxes for the speakers on the back rear wells to make the sound system perfect. Truly built to be one of kind and it would cost a fortune to replicate......not to mention the time and effort. Total height at the peak of the soft top frame is 87 inches with the existing suspension setup. Any other questions please feel free to ask.
