I WILL TRY TO FIND AN ORIGINAL HORN IN MY GARAGE TO INCLUDE. For sale is a 1973 Ford early Bronco. Partially restored and modified with original c4 transmission and 302 engine. This bronco is great for someone to further restore or just use as a daily driver. I have had it for 6 years and have used it in the past to make 300 mile round trips to home from college! Its solid but just know that it isn't perfect. Be sure to ask questions about what you are bidding on. I painted it my self so the paint isn't perfect. It is mostly very strong but has cracked in some places like the hood and around the right rocker panel. A little on the edge of back quarterpanels also. Paint is about 3 years old I think and is AUDI ORANGE single stage polyurethane Top was painted with white single stage polyurethane (I believe to the correct ford color) Just like every old ford its going to seep a little bit from places. It certainly isn't leaving in puddles occasionally you will see one drop of fluid from something needing a new seal or gasket. I have receipts for most mods but will have to look for them all and I will attempt to list most of the work that has been done. Heavy Duty extended James Duff radius arms for toughness excellent travel and safe handling at high speeds. Just the install on these from a shop would probably cost you at least a grand. Relatively new starter, battery, and alternator, as well as plug wires, plugs, ignition coil, distributor, starter solenoid also new I believe 33 inch BFG's 3 and a half inch lift from bronco grave yard with highly adjustable rancho 9000's(this bronco is ALL suspension no body lift or blocks) LL Long tube headers guaranteed for life not to rust through. 23 Gallon aftermarket fuel tank Regeared and rebuilt steering box with frame brace plate (much safer ratio for high speed) Rebuilt automatic C4 transmission with shift kit good to 600hp I was told Warn Premium Hubs New felt for windows new weather stripping in some areas New heater core (will run you out in the winter it works so well) Street Avenger Carb Coated inner tub with something similiar to rhino lining with kevlar in it Full Roll Bar from Tom's Bronco Parts Small Hitch Rear bearing replacement Custom driveshaft and proper rear diff shimming (has NEVER broke a U-Joint) New aluminum radiator Front disc brake conversion with I believe steel braided lines New arm rests and some new door parts and handle mechanisms Inside of doors and most of underneath has been coated to prevent rust with Zero Rust (used on barges) Bottom of doors have no rust ask for pictures I didn't have enough space to add them on here. I know there are things I'm missing... but here are a few things it may need. BOTTOM OF ROCKER PANELS LOOKS ROUGH AND HAVE A LITTLE ROT BUT I JUST RAN A MAGNET AND ITS ALL METAL. I HAD TO REMOVE SOME POOR BODY WORK FROM A PREVIOUS OWNER WHEN A SHOP WOULDN'T GIVE ME A STICKER THINKING IT WAS RUST. Hood needs replaced or paint discrepancy repaired Brakes could use bleeding and a brake booster would help Carb probably could use adjustment but runs fine enough for me Wheels and Tires seem to need balancing (vibration at 65mph) This has happened before and a balance and rotation fixed it Driver side seat torn, passenger side is just cracked a little Reverse lights are on red covered hot switch with a red light to warn they are on. Neutral safety switch needed to fix it. Just never got around to it and didn't mind the switch. (Fix it yourself and then you have an extra red guarded switch) Alternator belt squeaks a little on occasion I think it is missing one rear seat belt. Speedo bounces a little bit likely needs a new little plastic speedo gear. There are a lot of little fixes that could be done here and there and this bronco would be a good place to start to build a much nicer one. I have used the holes for the original radio for other switches like a heater fan with more selections but I believe I still have the original radio somewhere. 1973 Ford Bronco This fun little Bronco is what I call the best of both Worlds. Half cabs were not available in 73 and production halted in 72 with only about 10-15% of true half cabs built. This is quite a unique and highly desirable set up and nobody knows why Ford didn’t continue it, fortunately the Early Bronco platform allows for any modification you desire. This vehicle has a Half Cab and partition that have been modified to fit in and come out easy, a roll bar is installed for when not in Half cab form and a Bimini top is included. This is a tricky combination as you may or may not know, but we have perfected the install to 3-4 quick easy steps and all hard ware is included takes no more than 20 minutes before you go out for the day. The vehicle is equipped with a 302 V8 with C4 Automatic Transmission with Power Steering and Radio. New interior with captain seats and an original bench is available and will be installed next week. The vehicle sits on a Brand New Set of 32inch 11.500 Falken, Tires in the Pictures the Half cab form shows a 33 inch tire with 12.50 width. We went with a little less aggressive and lower look for Street use although this is an AT tire and will go off road should you choose. Chrome Wheels and Chrome bumpers front and back. As you will see in the photos, this is your chance to own a one-of-a-kind early Bronco that runs, drives and performs like a modern-day vehicle and looks like it just rolled out off the showroom floor. Engine: We are proud to be a BluePrint Engines dealer and have selected their fantastic 347 Stroker motor with upgraded fuel injection for your build. This 400HP engine provides plenty of power with 415 ft lbs. of torque. It includes aluminum heads, roller cam and a 30 month / 50,000 mile warranty! You will LOVE this motor. Transmission: The old Ford Broncos came from the factory with only 3 gears...and a 55MPH top speed. Not this one...we have chosen the 5 speed NV3550 tranny to give you a very modern driving experience. You will have all the top speed you need and it drives so smoothly, you'll want to make it your daily driver! Interior: The ProCar Scat front buckets are some of the most comfortable seats we have had in a Bronco. They fit the look of the Bronco perfectly and feel much better than the classic factory seats. The rear bench seat is a fold and tumble model from Tom's Bronco Parts. The inside of the tub has been lined to provide plenty of protection using the popular Raptor VOC kit. Interior colors and style can be changed to fit your needs. Body & Paint: It's beautiful! When needed, we will replace as much sheet metal as needed on your Bronco and we use the best products available. No bad patch jobs and shortcuts. We do it the right way. In the end, it will be laser straight and the gaps on your vehicle will be flawless. Keith is a magician... Wheels & Tires: The wheels on this Bronco fit the look perfectly. We selected the brand new Fuel Rampage 20x10" wheels that are finished in a gun metal grey and a gloss black outer lip that really set them off rolling down the road. The General Grabber AT2's are some of my favorite tires on a Bronco. They have a rugged look, but still stay quiet on the road. This set is almost $4,000 alone! You can select this same setup or opt for another color/style. Suspension:We recommend 3.5" of lift to create an aggressive look, but maintain drivability. We combined the 2.5" Lift Kit from Tom's Bronco Parts and 1" of body spacers to provide enough room for the upgraded transmission. This kit includes 7 degree C bushings and a nice smooth ride. We added the front and rear sway bars from the great guys at Hellwig products...no body roll! Your new Bronco will drive straight and feels safe. Upgrades & Features: Steering - We understand the steering pitfalls on these old Broncos and it starts with the power steering gear box. Your Bronco build will include a brand new Quick Ratio kit that includes a new gear box, Saginaw pump, lower shaft and better steering than the day it rolled off the assembly line! 1973 Ford Bronco Sport. 302 V8 Automatic Factory Dealer Installed A/C Power Steering. I've had this Bronco since the Mid 90's, I bought it from my brother who had purchased it in the 80's from the original owner who owned the NAPA store in Fort Valley, Ga. The truck is very original, and shows about 25,000 miles on the clock. Add 100,000,.It is wearing it's original brown and white paint. It has some rust in the inner fenders, and rockers. All repair panels and patch pamels are readily available. The glass is all in very good shape with the exception of the windshild, which has a small cip at the rear view mount area on the inside surface. What looks like cloudy windows is actually old window tint.
