For sale in our Orlando showroom is a 1974 Chevrolet Camaro Z28. In 1974 Chevrolet gave the Camaro quite a face lift. Taking inspiration from the high selling Vega lineup the front fascia received a more european style that was definitely well received from the buying population. The 1974 Z28 saw production numbers only slightly crest 13,000 which makes them very collectible and was the last year for the Z28 until it was returned to service in 1977 but with the post 75 body updates. This stunning yellow Z28 has been in its current owners hands for a little over 15 years and has been through with meticulous attention to detail and care. The first thing that one notices on this Camaro is the great stance and appearance given by the coil over suspension and oversized wheels for that pro touring appearance and feel. There have also been subtle changes to the exterior that make it a little different such as body matched bumpers instead of chrome which have been moved in and flushed with the rest of the body to bring it into the modern era. Inside the cockpit more modern touches have been added such as a complete set of carbon fiber series Autometer gages, B%26M Stealth magnum shifter, and all black interior make a powerful but clean impression. Under the hood this beast is carrying a stout recently rebuilt 355cid 4 bolt main V8. Backing this beast is a built TH400 with a healthy shift kit for when things get serious. The rear end is packing 3.42 gears with posi traction and held in by slide a link control bars and over sized sway bars that keep everything in check at the local stop light drag. With the low production numbers, attention grabbing looks, and plenty of power to back everything up, this Z28 is sure to gain in value and will be a great piece for any collector or even someone that wants a great looking street demon. INTERIOR Minor problems with interior are... Headliner is starting to come down (I think that it can be saved and wont have to be replaced) Door panels have 3 small screws added at the bottom to hold them flat to the door. 1 plastic loop that holds the shoulder harness belt on 1 seat is broken Dash looks fantastic. Excellent color and detail. Gauge faces are bright, not faded and all lights work as good as they did in 1974. Seat cloth is nothing short of amazing. No rips tears or wear. Carpet is excellent. Buzzer still works when the key is inserted and the reverse lockout is intact and works perfectly. Never smoked in (ashtray looks like new) Weatherstripping is not cracked or dried out. Doors shut beautifully as the hinges are solid and both rollers excellent. BODY There are a few small dings and small dents but nothing major. (please see pictures) Car has 1 spot of rust where a mud flap screw was installed but otherwise she is rust free. (amazing for a Colorado car). Undercoating is mostly all intact with the exception of under the battery area but even that is very solid. Trunk looks fantastic. She still has the original bumper jack and wide oval spare (used) PAINT Paint is a 7+ out of 10 in my opinion. There are some typical chips and scratches that you might find on a car this old but it still looks great as you can see. There is some overspray on the windshield wipers. It is possible that the paint was touched up but I don't think it has ever had a complete repaint. Looking it over I dont believe it has ever been in a serious accident. No obvious signs of bondo or serious work being done. ORGINALITY This is a numbers matching original engine, not a replacement. Some of the parts I can confirm that are original to the car are.. Engine Transmission Rear end Carburetor Alternator Distributor Starter Just to name a few. Car still has the original spiral shocks Posi Tag Original rear drums with the factory CM stickers intact. DRIVE-ABILITY She drives amazing, Like going back in time to 1974. The steering is tight and straight. Shifter is tight. Clutch feels great (no chatter) Motor sound great and pulls nicely without smoke or issues. Choke still works great. Really amazing. I had the AC checked and charged and it blows cold. All functions work on this car including the AM radio. Note that the original gas tank and radiator are not in the car but I have them both. Radiator looks like it only needs 1 neck repaired. I'm not sure why the tank was removed as it is clean inside. There are no dents and it still has the original undercoating. Note, I am not the original owner. (please call me for more info). Title is in the original owners name and is a duplicate (she lost the original). Just put on a set of new tires in the original size. I think this Z28 should be preserved in a Camaro enthusiasts collection. I have many more Photos so please just ask. For immediate sale, 1974 Chevrolet Camaro. Time has run out for me on this project, so the first $2,000 takes this car. This is a 1974 Camaro with 350 CID 4 barrel engine and 4 speed manual transmission. The body is in very good shape; it has always been a California/ Arizona car. The car needs a transmission (I have this one out and in pieces, if you want to rebuild it yourself, it also comes with a new synchro/bearing set) It also needs two front seats. The condition of the engine is a question mark. It was running good and strong with about 7,000 miles on the overhaul (professionally done) back in 2004. I started and drove the car in 2010 and it was running well then. I drained the fuel and and replaced the tank (still dry) and purchased a new fuel pump and lines (included) for when the car is restarted. I also cleaned the carburetor and put a new kit in it. It could run fine with little trouble, or it could need overhaul. I just can’t say. As stated before, body is in good shape and paint looks good (covered in dust right now. Car is rolling on some classic Enkie wheel that would take a good polish Brakes and suspension were ok when last operated. My house has sold and I need a good owner for this car (I bought it my senior year in HS-1977). It’s gotta be rolling out of the garage in the next week. I hope you have as much fun with this vehicle over the next 38 years as I have had the last 38.(It’s a great touring/cruiser).

I am selling my 1974 Z28 Camaro. Car has been stripped using soda blasting method, all body work was meticulously done and painted using PPG paint. The color is that used on the 2014 Corvett ( Cyber Gray). The gagues have been upgraded to that of the 1970 Z28 with the 8 grond tack and 150 speedo with a carbon fiber back. The engine was finished 4 years ago it's a 427 L88 with it orginal retangular port heads and bored to a 468 cc. JE pistons 10.5.1 comp.and Cower cam. 2.5 Super Comp headers done by Jet Hot. it's an orginal 4 speed car and has Muncie M21 that shifts like butter. It has a 10 bolt rear with Cal Tracs. As you can see the side maker were changed out and replaced with those found on a 68/69 Camaro. The Disco bumper replaced with fiber glass one and painted. The brackets were pushed up and back to hug the body the why it should have been. The Front has the Hotchicks big sway bar with the Fox tune shocks, the car rides like it's on rails as they say on it's orginal rally rims wrapped with BF Goodridge 75/60 on all cornors. The car will sell with it's orginal front and rear bumper that are in excellent condition and the orginal front and rear sway bars. Carpets, and front seat covers are new, the rears were good to go.
