This is a really well preserved original 1974 Ford truck. Is it worth $7400? probably not! So its up for Best Offer. It is as old as me and so far we are both holding up well, both with a more than a few scratches to show we did it and can do it again.I found it out west and purchased it from the 2nd owner. 71,000 original miles. Really must see for yourself, but pics are best I can do here. It has been a reliable dependable truck used almost daily for the last 6 months. Explorer package, a/c, 390 automatic c6 and 9". Very clean body. small rust spots over the rear fenders, and one spot on driver cab corner. The underside is clean. Original paint! New shocks & brakes, plugs wires ect in the fall.The bad: but needs a master cylinder, the windshield has a crack, the radio does not work. and it drips a lil trans fluid. It still stops I have just not had time to give it. I will drive it as is, let my car/truck buddys drive it as is, I would not drive it a long distance this way. I drive it around the town, but with caution and likely over confidence. Was stored for several years.The title is still an Arizona Title, Box A, original, Notorized and ready to go. I have a nice original paint 1974 Ford F100 Supercab longbed 2wd roller with a clear title. It has no engine or transmission. These trucks are getting hard to find. It is in good shape for the year, but does need some work. Please look at pictures because I want to be as upfront as possible. I have both bumpers and driveshaft. Front clip is in great shape, no rust including fenders and inner fenders. Still has all the rubber fender seals underneath. Hood has rust underneath. Cab will need cab corners and both floor pans to do it right. Doors are near perfect with no rust on the bottom. Drip rails are decent and not all rusted out. Bed has great straight sides only little rust behind tire, but floor and headboard need work. Frame is great. Has Dana 60 rear 8 lug, but only 5 lug front set up. Interior is in good shape, two rear blue jumper seats and one blue front bench seat will be going with truck. Has pop out rear side windows. Comes with Ford bedliner. Had a 429 C6 in it. I am selling my truck to add to some equipment to my business. It is a super cool old truck, that has a few issues an un-restored truck would have but boy does it have the look and it is real, not made up patina Its been sitting several years but it starts right up and runs,1974 F100 4x4, 360 FE engine originally, factory air, power assist steering, it was originally a 3 speed overdrive manual, someone put a NP435 4 speed transmission with the granny low gear in it, it has an in and out transfer case, Aluminum wheels and older 12.50X33X15 BFG Mud Terrain tires, Clear coat peeled off in the Texas sun and the paint is thin and totally gone in places, surface rust but no rust through the metal anywhere it needs painted. It can be driven up on a trailer but brakes are not good. Needs dash pad, its cracked like all the originals did, the seat is nice condition. It has a complete new wiring harness update from American Autowire with switches and fuse block (it is pre-wired for electric fans, Dakota Digital Dashes, auto trans, electric fuel pump etc) there are a few odds and ends to hook up yet like gas tank sending unit etc, new Holley truck avenger carb, new HEI conversion, new 2 wire alternator, red top battery. It has 1968 Cougar 428 GT heads and Ford aluminum 4 bbl intake don't know for sure the displacement of the engine. However, originally the Ranger represented way more than just a mid-size pickup. From 1965 to 1981, the Ranger designated a stylish trim package for the F-series pickups. It's very rare you find a 70's era F-100 Ranger this nice. This one carries factory correct black paint and XLT badges on what appears to be the original sheetmetal, promoting that this truck was cared for from day one. The Ranger package was the top-of-the-line package for the F100 and offered a ton of chrome and stainless trim, including lots of brightwork on the flanks and rocker panels as well as on the tailgate. There's also a matching chrome rear bumper, and a painted bed liner that is ready for duty! Pop open the doors and you'll find a factory correct black cloth interior that is clearly the way trucks were meant to be. It's hard to go wrong with black on black, and it gives this Ranger an upscale feel. The interior is incredibly clean and for the most part appears to be very original. On the floor, the carpets are protected by a FoMoCo branded rubber floor mat that stretches from door to door. The bench seat is covered in what appears to be fresh gray cloth that shows little to no wear at all. Moving to the dash, what look to be the original gauges are all neatly tucked into place and surrounded by wood grain accents. In front of the driver, a three-spoke wood grain steering wheel is a very nice upgrade. Equipped with AM/FM radio and coupled with air conditioning, this truck will keep you comfortable regardless what it is being used for. The paint is thin in areas, at a distance, it is presentable. The steering wheel has cracks. The passenger side header leaks. The original seat has a tiny hole on the drivers side. The carpet is faded. There are nicks, and scratches around and inside the truck. This is a nice classic original truck, that with a little work, could be a really nice truck for show, or play. I would recommend having the truck inspected at the buyers expense. There are several shops around me that can do this. Completed bed off new paint in 2006. Changed seats to be more comfortable and added oak console. Only used for local shows (dad was a founding member of the Black Swamp Chapter of the American Historical Truck Society). He had to have the introductory model of the SuperCab. This one has the 8’ bed (155” wheelbase) and rear side jumper seats. It has front bumper guards, cab lights, driving lights (no switch), and replacement rear bumper,New belts, hoses, exhaust manifold leak, dual exhaust with chrome tips, tires, tune up, and much more general maintenance needed to make it dependable.
