1975 Ford Maverick 4-door Sedan; 200CID 6-cylinder motor with 3-speed manual transmission. Original, unrestored condition with only 4,950 miles. One previous owner; the original elderly female owner in Columbus, Ohio, who gave up driving soon after buying the car, but maintained it in good running condition. For reliability the motor was fully serviced and many items under the hood were replaced, as well as all-new front suspension and front-end alignment. The old tires were unsafe and were replaced about 5 years ago. The spare wheel retains and original, unused tire. The car runs and drives well and needs nothing to make it safe or road-worthy. The color is Ford Light Green, a standard Ford color option in 1975. The pictures were taken on several different days and the color seems to change according to the light. The interior, in green striped cloth and vinyl, has seen very little use. The carpets also show minimal wear and the whole interior is in remarkable condition. This car has no power steering, no power brakes, no A/C…. just a fully-functioning AM radio and a heater! Please note: Alabama does not issue titles for vehicles over 35 years old, but the original Ohio Title in the first owners name is available. It does have a current Alabama Vintage Vehicle Registration which will be provided, along with a Bill of Sale.

For sale is my 1986 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS. I'm retired and was looking for a little something to do so I purchased the SS last year to enter in local car shows. We are originally from the Chicago area and I used to show two different cars there. There was never a shortage of car shows to go to in the Chicago area and I was hoping to have the same fun here in St George Utah that I had back in Chicago. I tried showing a car at the shows here in St George once before (quite a few years ago) and it was a bad experience. I thought (and was hoping) that things had changed since then. Well, nothing has changed and I am once again totally disappointed with the car shows in the area. I guess I'm also a little spoiled with the quality of the shows in Chicago. This is the only reason I am selling the Monte. Now for a little history about the SS. I purchased the Monte Carlo SS from the second owner who lived in Danbury CT. He owned the car for 10 years. He owned a big lumber business and kept the SS stored inside one of his heated buildings the entire time that he owned it. He was a Monte Carlo SS fanatic (as am I) and took the car out sparingly to the local car shows. He had been searching for a low-low mileage, pristine SS for a long time before he finally found this one. When he purchased the car from the original owner in 2003, the SS had only 1610 miles on it. The original owner drove the car sparingly and eventually just used it for local car shows also. The SS had some paint issues that were common back in the 80s and from what I have heard....silver was the worst. The original owner complained about the paint issues with the dealership and GM gave the original owner the option of either repainting the car at the dealership or giving him a cash payment to have it painted at a shop of his choice. He opted for the cash payment, which he kept, and decided not to have the car painted. Now back to the second owner (Glenn) who I bought the SS from last year. After he bought the car in 2003, the original GM factory paint was not up to his standards of what this car should look like. It really bothered him so he spent $8,500 for a top quality supreme paint job. He brought the SS to the best shop in his area. The paint job would have cost Glenn more, but Glenn and the shop owner made an agreement to leave the SS with the shop owner and let the shop owner paint the car at his leisure and on his own schedule and take his time in the process. It was a win-win because it saved Glenn some money and the shop owner could do the work around his other jobs. I don't quite remember how long Glenn said it took him to get the SS back but I think he said it was somewhere between 2-3 months. The finished product was amazing. Glenn was extremely happy with it and I have to say that this paint job is just fantastic. In my opinion, it is by far one of the nicest silver paint jobs that I have ever seen and I'm sure the new owner will agree. Glenn also wanted to snaz up the looks of the SS so after searching for awhile he found and purchased a brand new set of 86 SS wheels. He sent them off to be chromed and that's what you see in the pictures. The old wheels are boxed (in the same boxes the new wheels came in) and also come with the car. The SS looks new and smells new inside and that's because it basically is new and only has 2215 original miles. There is a slight crackling from one of the rear speakers when you have the bass set at the highest and the loudness button pushed but if adjusted properly, the speaker plays fine. That is the only thing that is a problem, if you want to call it a problem. You wont have any surprises with the car and no excuses. The two owners before me were very particular with the SS and I am also. It was ordered with ALL options. It is fully loaded. It even has the GM engine block heater. I had the AC converted to R-34 when I purchased the SS last year. I know that you don't know me (please look at my feedback over the 14 years, I have been an excellent member of the Ebay community) but all I can say is that you will be hard pressed to find a nicer 1986 Monte Carlo SS. This car is superb in every way. I have a lot of paperwork from the original owner and the GM knock-outs. The SS need absolutely nothing. It drives like a new car should. It has never been in any kind of accident. If you have any questions or would like additional pictures, please contact me for my phone number. As I mentioned before, I am retired and will be able to assist with your shipper any time or day of the week. Again....you won't be disappointed with this Monte Carlo SS. 785+ 100% POSITIVE FEEDBACKS MEAN YOU CAN RELAX AND BID WITH CONFIDENCE. I'VE SOLD MANY VALUABLE ITEMS ON EBAY (including a Chevy Corvette, a Ford Mustang, most recently a 1975 Ford Maverick Grabber, and many more high $$$$ items) AND ONLY HAVE THE BEST FEEDBACK (100% positive). I DESCRIBE MY ITEMS HONESTLY AND PRICE THEM VERY FAIRLY SO I'M POSITIVE THAT YOU'LL BE EXTREMELY HAPPY. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS AT ALL OR WOULD LIKE TO SEE ADDITIONAL PICTURES, PLEASE ASK. I WILL ANSWER ASAP.

1977 Mercury Comet With Sports Accent option Barn Find, Fresh from the field to you. - Resting in a driveway since 2008, this is the last of its kind 1977 Comet. It’s equipped with the following options:302 V8C4 automaticSports Accent appearance group (stripes, wheels, scoop, bucket seats)This red on red Comet is ready to be made into your high school dream car. Just a paint job and interior (okay, maybe a few other things) is all this needs to be cruising again. Or restore it back the the cars we had just before the gas crunch. Wikipedia says the following: For 1971, the Comet name was revived on Mercury's version of the Ford Maverick compact. Sharing most of its sheet-metal with the Maverick, it used a different grille, taillights, and hood, as well as different badging. The taillight pods were shared with the 1970 and 1971 Montego and Cyclone models. The base engine was the 170 cid inline-6 with a single-barrel carburetor producing 100 hp (75 kW) at 4200 rpm. Optional engines were the 200 cid inline-6 with a single-barrel carburetor producing 115 hp (86 kW) and a 302 cid V8 with a 2-barrel carburetor producing 210 hp (160 kW). Transmissions were either a 3-speed manual or 3-speed automatic with either column or floor-mounted shifters. The Comet was available as 2- and 4-door sedans and "muscle car" Comet GT series (2-door sedan-only 1971-1975). The GT featured a blacked-out grille, dual body-side tape stripes, high-back bucket seats, wheel trim rings, dual racing mirrors, bright window frames, black instrument panel, deluxe door trim panels, and a simulated hood scoop. Although 1975 was the last year for the Mercury Comet GT, the GT features remained available in 1976 and 1977 with the "Sports Accent" option group. After a cleaning and check up, we cleaned the gas tank and lines, and this 302 2bbl, with 129,234 miles on the odometer fired right up. A few trips around the block, and it actually runs pretty well. There is a small amount of rust in the driver side rear wheel well, both front corner(minor) and rear corner. The passenger side has some rust in the rear wheel well (rear corner). I have not found any rust anywhere else, and the floorboards are in great shape, very solid. The brakes might need bleeding, and fluid changes could be in order. The front grill has a few small pieces missing, and the front signals need re-wiring. It may also need the heater core replaced. All in all, this thing starts, runs and stops as it should. It does not have power steering, or power brakes, or a/c, power windows, etcetera. But it’s a fun ride! Contact me with any questions, Randy, at 970 245 0854
