Up for sale is my 1977 Pontiac Firebird Trans AM. This is a matching numbers 400 Pontiac / Auto. This is a real code 19, Black Trans Am with the highly desired Pontiac 400. This car runs and drives very well, but will need a little TLC from the next owner to make it even nicer. The odometer reads right around 66,800 miles, but I cannot confirm if this is actual or if the clock has rolled over, so the mileage will be "exempt". No rot or rust anywhere! From salt-free Oregon and has never seen winter roads! The three year old black paint, graphics and body is driver quality (looks great at 10 feet) but isn't perfect! Lots of new parts!Underside of the car is as follows: - Sub Frame 9/10- Rear frame rails 9/10- Rear tail pan 8/10- Floor pans 7/10 (due to repair work)- Bushings and body mounts 6/10 (they are original) Interior as is as follows: - Dash 8/10- Carpet 9/10- Console 8/10- Door panels 6/10 (showing wear, but driver presentable)- Headliner 8/10- Front seats 8/10 (recovered in velour instead of vinyl)- Back seat 7/10 Tachometer is currently not working. Radio is not working, but looks to be not hooked up. This is a beautiful Bandit, 77 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. Restored from top to bottom with help from Restore a Muscle Car in Lincoln Nebraska.Replaced the original 403ci engine with a Oldsmobile 455ci V8, lots of power! Engine was rebuilt and less than 500 miles on the motor since rebuild. Custom interior, vinyl and micro-suede black fabric. The door handles were shaved creating a very beautifully smooth look to the car. The poppers are defective and would need to be replaced. I have my 1977 Trans Am for sale. We have the PHS on the car and it rolled out of the factory in 1977 in Starlight Black, Black vinyl Interior, the performance cam (rated 220hp), Power steering, Power brakes, and a 4 speed. It now has an interior that is both black and tan and is now painted Martinique Blue, which is a 1978 only color. The transmission was swapped by the previous owner to a turbo 400 with a shift kit and new main seals. Non-numbers matching motor is a rebuilt Pontiac 400 that came out of another 1977 Pontiac. Has a brand new Holley 650 double pumper with an electric choke and a brand new HEI distributor sitting on top of an Edelbrock air gap intake. The drivetrain is very solid, no leaks or issues and pulls great. I changed the oil with full synthetic right after I bought the car, which was around 500 miles after both drivetrain rebuilds. I've redone the entire exhaust with ceramic coated long tube headers, 2.5 inch pipe and 12 inch glasspacks done at the local exhaust shop in downtown Franklin. It has a normal amount of rust for the year, the trunk and front floorpans are good but the rear passenger floorpans need replaced. Also some rust under doors. Brand new brake job, but one of the front rotors is slightly warped but only noticeable when stopping from 40+ mph. It still stops very well at all speeds regardless. The dash could use re-wiring, because the backlight illumination and some of the gauges aren't working. Recently the speedometer cable melted to the header, so a brand new one is in and tied away from the header but still needs to be connected. Vintage CB radio from 1980 that works. 3:31 gears in a 10 bolt rear end. It is a great driver quality car, but could still use some interior work (see photos). Solid car for a restoration, pro touring project, or just a driver like I used it for. Remember this was an all black 4 speed car. Thanks and feel free to ask any questions.

1977 Pontiac Trans Am SE. PHS documented Y-81 Special Edition Trans Am one of 384 non t-top SE cars. A true blue 400 Pontiac motor with forged internals. A newly rebuilt Dyers 6-71 supercharger with dual Holley Dominator carbs topped with a BDS Hilborn type scoop. A 4 speed transmission with a Hurst shifter, Front power disc brakes, power steering, 10 bolt 3:90 to 1 rear gears. Not a ladder bar, and not a four link but a narrowed rear chassis so it rides as smooth as a street car, the custom built back seats are still useable as well as the trunk. The sumped gas tank emptied by an electric Holley blue fuel pump has been sectioned and left in the stock location. Mini tubbed to accept 29" X 15 X 18.50 Mickey Thompson Sportsman tires. The subframes have been connected with 2" X 3" subframe connectors and traction bars added as well. Hooker Super Competition Jet hot coated headers with Flowmaster Delta 2 mufflers and 3 inch dumps. Cobra CB radio with antenna. Am/FM cassette player with amps and EQ in the trunk. Holley blue pump, Russell 1/2" teflon braided fuel lines with a Russell fuel regulator and all Russell connections. All Auto Meter gauges, shift light, Chrome roll bar with attached race harnesses, MSD billet distributor, MSD 6AL spark control and coil, Be Cool radiator with twin thermostatically controlled fans, Optima battery, T/A rear differential cover, custom bult LED sequential tail lights. Optima red top battery, Autometer shift light, This list can go on and on. Car is in excellent shape. I have had this car for many, many carefree years and have dominated at any car show I pull in to. Kids and adults love it alike. Be prepared to stop, talk and let crowds of people take pictures any time that you park and videos made as you drive down the highway. I just had a brand new clutch, pressure plate, flywheel, and bearings replaced. Just replaced the battery with a new Optima battery. Tested the rest of the electrical charging system and charger and everything is 100 percent perfect. The sun visors slide around so I would replace those, the speedo cable broke and needs replacing. I feel that this is a $60-$70,000 show car all day but with the few small tasks left to perform, There is no way that you could duplicate the craftsmanship and quality of parts in this car again for this kind of money. I bought this car in 2009, it was in pretty good shape. In 2013 I sent it off to a Professional restoration company and had the entire car freshened up spent almost $40,000.00 on restoration. this car runs like brand new, Drives Straight, engine redone completely stock, Under carriage stripped of weather coating and restored to factory Red oxide primer just like they came off the assembly line, A/C blows Ice cold, new seal all around, decals, interior, Insulation, too many to list but just about everything redone. the only thing we did to the paint was repair a few dings, otherwise the paint is glossy and looks great only flaws are a few cracks in the paint on the hood can be seen in one of the photos, comes with build sheet, PHS papers, will include copies of all the work done on the car.
