This is a true SWB full panel van with windowless rear doors and the license plate in the factory rear bumper; rare van. This was “the” van to buy and customize back in the 70’s. Factory 1978 Chevrolet G10 half-ton short wheel base windowless panel van. Original Cordova Brown Metallic paint in and out, original 350 4v V8 engine with fresh tune in good running condition. Factory options include Power Steering, Power Brakes, Tinted Glass, AM/FM 8-track stereo, Tilt Wheel, Gauge Package, Heavy-Duty Radiator, Chrome Grill, Chrome F & R Bumpers, and more. This is a super rare factory-authorized “Carpeted Surfer” custom conversion including custom interior, teardrop side windows, roof vent, sunroof, wagon wheels, chrome tube grill, and trailer tow package performed by Trail Wagons in Spokane, WA in April of 1978 when the van was new. The door pillar has their manufacturer’s tag dated 4/12/1978 as well as the Chevy tag. Very nice newer custom “hand-scraped hardwood” flooring treatment, very nice sidewall and ceiling treatment. Clean, looks almost new, and includes a clean vinyl-backed hinged stuffed foam sleeping/rear seat mat as well. Tired original conversion swivel Captain’s chairs are cool, and allow the seats to spin around to face rear to entertain with your friends. Dash and doghouse are good, can be restored with vinyl dye. Gauge cluster looks good and all gauges seem to work. Crack in front windshield, good side glass. Only known mechanical issue is heater core bypassed, probably leaks. There may be other small issues, but this is the only issue I am aware of. The van is a runner and driver with current registration, fresh tune-up, and oil change. Newer Edelbrock 4v carburetor, otherwise seems stock. Turbo 400 auto trans shifts fine. Original Cordova Brown metallic paint (Root Beer Brown), no touch-ups, nothing hidden. Actually very straight with only minor dings. Minor rust on p/s rear wheel edge (leading, lower), side door lower edge, and a couple minor pinholes in the d/s rocker under the door. Sunroof will need to be properly resealed. Floors are great, rockers solid, nothing hidden. Super easy and minor fixes before your new custom paint job. Add flares, visor, front spoiler, rear spoiler, custom paint, wheels/tires, and go to town! I’ve taken close-up pictures of every “problem” area I can find so you can see exactly what you’re getting. All issues are minor in my opinion. The main vehicle pictures are taken from approximately 10’ away, so you get a good idea of what the van looks like in general appearance. Clear title in hand, matches VIN exactly for inspection and export. Current tags and registration. 1978 Chevrolet G20 3/4 ton van. Original owner. 126,441 miles. 350 V8. Auto-350 rebuilt. Power steering, power brakes, power windows/door locks. American Outlaw wheels, BF Goodrich tires, Cibie driving lights. This vehicle was originally purchased in 1978 to use as a delivery van for my business. It became my personal vehicle in 1984 and was used exclusively to carry a motorcycle and has been garage kept ever since. In 2005, the body was completely restored and painted, using no plastic; a new custom interior was installed along with heated custom leather adjustable seats. VDO white face gauges, dual batteries, running boards, updated mirrors from 1992 GM vans. In the early 90's I installed a stereo system: Kenwood head piece - Nakamichi amps, powering subwoofers in custom designed boxes to spec; two sets of mid-range speakers, and two tweeters in the front doors. It is an exceptional sound that is crystal clear. I also installed aircraft insulation on the walls and ceiling of the van for better acoustics. In the mid 90's, at 100,000 miles, I installed a new 350 cu. in. motor, a high riser manifold with an Edelbrock carburetor, and a high output distributor, stainless steel headers, and dual exhaust, new positraction differential, ratio 3•21, removing the stock 2•73 ratio differential. The new motor has 26,441 miles, and the total mileage is 126,441. The van is in excellent condition. Everything is in proper working order and is unique in every way. Over $30,000- invested in the vehicle.

I recently purchased this truck from the original owner. He used the truck to deliver fruits and veggies around Somerville, Cambridge and Boston. The truck has no grill but could be converted into a food truck. I had a mechanic do a full inspection before purchasing this truck. The frame was examined and given a clean bill of health, free from any major issues. The engine and transmission have both been replaced. Tires are new and great condition!! New engine as less than 50,000 Miles. The interior is made of solid oak as are the drawers that fill the space. The truck has been re-insulated and the outside is 100% aluminum. The only thing that needs to be fixed are the two back doors. All other doors, lights, windshield wipers, blinkers, etc are fully functional. The body also recently passed inspection with the previous owner. Title in hand. Priced to sell. I will be moving out West and unfortunately the truck won't be making the cross country drive with me.

Exterior surface rust ONLY due to sun and weather, no accidental metal damage or bondo metal work. Has small dent on lip of passenger door. Needs new seats or original re-upholstering. Has only an AM Radio that may or may not work--not hooked up. There is no A/C and is just as plain as it gets. Probably needs two new tires, but very drivable as is. Runs and drives smoothly for a classic vehicle its age. Would make an easy restoration project or clean palate for customizing. This van starts, runs, drives and stops excellent in every way. I have driven this van 2000 miles to Houston and back towing a cargo trailer, it is a very tight vehicle and will not disappoint you. Options and Equipment: Has a very strong running 6.0 Vortec V8 engine, auto trans, traction control, trip computer, front/rear AC/heat, CD stereo, power windows/locks, key-less entry, tow package, tint, non smoking gray cloth interior, very good paint, good glass and never any rust (see photos underneath) We installed a new windshield, Napa battery, driver's seat cushion, 4 new Cooper tires, a new trailer hitch w/wiring/plug, preformed a full inspection, including brakes (if 50% or less we replace them) and undercarriage, lube/oil/filters etc, it will be professionally cleaned inside before it ships. Though in excellent condition, this is a used 3 year old van and as you would expect there are imperfections, scratches, dings, wear, etc. I am being very "nit-picky" on some of this stuff because I value my reputation/feedback. This van was locally owned, very well maintained and came to us from the dry southwest (completely rust free, see photos underneath) desert. I never realized how hard it is to buy a cargo like this until I started searching at the request of one of my clients to add to his fleet. I have driven this van more than 250 miles, it runs and drives excellent in every way, cruises comfortably at 70mph on the highway, gets great gas mileage and has good power. At this time I also have some AWD full size vans, AWD astro vans and 2 hightop wheel chair equipped vans available Condition, Options and Drivetrain: The body and paint are very good, under the hood is a great running Vortec V6 engine, auto transmission, we just installed 4 brand new General Grabber all weather tires, a new windshield and more. The non smoking interior is very clean, easy to clean vinyl floors, equipped with auto headlights, tilt wheel, tint, cruise control, AC/heat, push button tow package on the dash, AM/FM, trip computer and everything works as it should. The rear of this van was very lightly used, is loaded up with Adrian Steel shelving, bins, drawers and a cargo barrier, all appear to be brand new. This van needs nothing, is ready for work, will represent your company very well and will not disappoint you. Though in excellent overall condition, this is a used 7 year old van and as you would expect there are imperfections, scratches, dings, wear, etc. I am being very "nit-picky" on some of this stuff because I value my reputation/feedback. The Story: This AWD van was government owned, fleet maintained and came to us from the dry southwest (completely rust free, see photos underneath) desert. I never realized how hard it is to buy a van like this until I started searching at the request of one of my clients to add to his fleet. I also was not prepared to like vans nor enjoy driving one but I have to admit, they are great. I have put 150 miles on this van, it runs and drives excellent in every way, it is a road trip machine, cruises comfortably at 70mph on the highway, gets good gas mileage and has a lot of power. I have been so impressed with these vehicles I have since bought an extended GMC 3500 4X4 van of my own and am converting it into a road trip/back country camping rig for my family. At this time I also have some full size vans and 2 bubbletop wheel chair lift equipped vans available Condition, Options and Drivetrain: The body and paint are excellent, well above average, under the hood is a very strong 5.3 Vortec V8 engine, auto transmission, AWD, stabiltrak stability control system, like new heavy duty General Grabber tires and more. The non smoking interior is super clean, equipped with keyless entry, tilt wheel, power windows, locks, tint, cruise control, front/rear AC/heat, push button tow package on the dash, AM/FM/CD, trip computer and everything works as it should. This van needs nothing, is ready for work or play and will not disappoint you. Please note: this van has a push button tow mode button on the dash but does not have a rear receiver hitch thus has never towed anything. Though in excellent overall condition, this is a used 6 year old van and as you would expect there are imperfections, scratches, dings, wear, etc. I am being very "nit-picky" on some of this stuff because I value my reputation/feedback. I never realized how hard it is to buy a full size AWD van like this until I started searching at the request of one of my clients. I have put over 150 miles on this van, it starts, runs and drives excellent in every way, it is an excellent road trip machine, cruises comfortably at 70mph on the highway, gets great gas mileage and has lots of power. Condition, Options and Drivetrain: The body and paint are about average, is rust free (see photos) under the hood is a great running 5.3L Vortec V8 engine, auto transmission, all wheel drive, the all weather tires are like new and more. The non smoking, tan cloth interior is immaculate, has manual windows and locks, tinted glass, front/rear AC/heat, push button tow package on the dash, AM/FM/CD and everything works as it should. This van needs nothing, is ready for work or play and will not disappoint you. Please note: this van has a push button tow mode button on the dash but does not have a rear receiver hitch and I assume has never towed anything. Though in excellent overall condition, this is a used 10 year old van and as you would expect there are imperfections, scratches, dings, wear, etc. I am being very "nit-picky" on some of this stuff because I value my reputation/feedback. I never realized how hard it is to buy a van like this until I started searching at the request of one of my clients to add to his fleet. I also was not prepared to like vans nor enjoy driving one but I have to admit, they are great. I have put over 300 miles on this rig, it runs and drives excellent in every way, it is a road trip machine, cruises comfortably at 70mph on the highway, gets great gas mileage and has lots of power. I have been so impressed with these vehicles I have since bought an extended GMC 3500 4X4 van of my own and am converting it into a road trip/back country camping rig for my family. At this time I also have some AWD full size vans, AWD astro vans and 4 bubbletop wheel chair equipped vans available Condition, Options and Drivetrain: The body and paint are excellent, well above average, under the hood is a very strong 6.0 Vortec V8 engine, auto transmission, stabiltrak stability control system, the all weather tires are like new, new windshield and more. The non smoking interior is immaculate, easy to clean vinyl seats and floors, equipped with keyless (2 fobs) entry, power windows, locks, tint, cruise control, front/rear AC/heat, push button tow package on the dash, AM/FM/CD, trip computer and everything works as it should. This van needs nothing, is ready for work or play and will not disappoint you. Please note: this van has a push button tow mode button on the dash but does not have a rear receiver hitch and I assume has never towed anything. The Story: This Suburban was a local trade in, adult owned, garaged, non smoking and no pets. 3/4 ton big block 4x4 suburbans like this are very hard to find and most people hang to them forever as it the only non diesel 7 passenger SUV that will tow just about anything you put behind it with ease. This burb is super tight, runs and drives great, has gobs of power, completely rust free and is ready for some summer fun. I let my wife drive this beast for a couple days and she begged me to keep it, sorry "leadfoot" not gonna happen. I also own an 02 3/4 LT 4X4 burb with a factory 6.0 and lower miles that will become available soon. Options and Drive train:This big burb is equipped with a very 8.1powerful 5.9 (496) Vortec V8 engine, auto trans, 4WD, ice cold front/rear AC, power windows/locks, fog lights, tint, autoride suspension, leather (non smoking) interior, quad seats, DVD, Delphi II XM2go, 3rd row seating, cargo cover, tow package, adjustable pedals, expendable power tow mirrors, brakes are excellent, just installed 4 brand new AT tires on factory alloy wheels and pronaly more that I missed. We gave it a fresh oil change/filter service and it is turn key. Make a reasonable cash offer and you will own this suburban. Though in excellent overall condition, this a used 12 year old 4WD family SUV and as you would expect there are some imperfections. I am being very "nit-picky" on some of this stuff because I value my reputation/feedback and no one likes surprises. There is some damage and scrapes on the drivers side rear fender flare and body just in front of the fender (see photos) There are a few very small scratches and dings as you would expect on a 4X4 SUV of this age but nothing out of the ordinary There is wear damage on the side of the drivers seat bottom, a common GM issue ( see photos) There is staining in the drivers floor carpet under the mat (see photos) I'm hoping my detail guy can get some of this out or cover it with weather-tech liners and forget about it. There is some wear damage on the drivers arm rest, a common GM issue (see photos) There is some "kid stains" on the rear seat belts (see photos) There are some places where the glove box paint has peeled and been repaired by PO, a common GM issue (see photos) Please call me with questions or offers.
