1978 F100 Cold Air, New Tires, Short bed Lariat with cargo light and inside cab factory locking hood hatch. Automatic transmission shifts the way it should (a little on the firm side). The motor is a 351 cid (modified) and is really strong. The motor has no vibrations and is very responsive. It is a really a fun truck to drive. I have had it in storage with stabil treated non ethanol fuel for about a year and it started very easily. Has low oil pressure. I haven't noticed any fluids on the concrete under the truck even though it sat for a year or more. This is a very clean truck, drives and looks great, and is very dependable. This truck is beautiful and I am sad to part with her. Odometer reads 65k miles (I suspect it has been rolled). She came from Washington state (no salt, no rust), and with the exception of some speckles on the bed easily buffed out, she has NO RUST. Interior is near mint, just two seem rips on the driver's seat cushion (also an easy mend). Replaced her head gaskets this summer ($1500), oil change, tune-up about 200 miles ago, and she could probably do with some new brakes soon. Mechanics all love her. She drives like a dream.

Classic 1978 Ford Courier XLT Short bed pickup. 108k original miles, 4cyl, 4spd. It is great truck that was parked by previous owner in 1999. He quit driving it due to heath reasons. So it was kind of a time capsule/barn find when I got it a couple weeks ago. I've been working on this truck a little and have it back in VERY good running condition. It didn't take much more than new fuel, fresh battery, some routine fluid and ignition/spark checks. It has minimal wear and tear and would be considered in Great shape for a 1978. It was literally just hosed off for pictures. Not detailed in anyway. Seat has a couple tears, Headliner is very nice, Dash pad is cracked, but has nice dash cover. Rust is minimal and confined to a small bubbling area under the paint on one fender only. The rest of the body is Excellent with only small dents,dings, scratches. Paint is faded but could benefit from a light buffing and wax. It still needs a couple small fixes. Cracked windshield. The passenger door latch mechanism is broken, stuck or unhooked on the inside. So the door is stuck shut. I haven't tried to take the door panel off or anything like that yet. Both windows roll up and down well. Brake lights/blinkers aren't working, but the headlights/taillights work fine. I haven't checked all the connections/fuses (wiggled all the wires) but am sure any non-working issues are simple fixes. Mechanically Runs Fantastic. Engine purrs, Clutch and brakes are Good! Manual Transmission shifts nicely. Heater and Heater/fan motor work. All 4 hubcaps and owners manual. These are getting to be a very collectible truck. Especially in this condition. Completely stock under the hood. Aftermarket radio installed by previous owners is the only interior alteration. Email any questions or if you want pictures of any specific areas. I will tinker with the blinkers after work this week and check bulbs/fuses. Personalized Oregon plates are not included in the sale and will be removed prior to delivery. Sold as-is, $500 deposit due within 48 hrs, balance due with in 7 days. Up for sale is a very clean, very original 1978 Ford F-150 4x4 short bed that is driven daily. I have several of the '78 and '79 trucks and Broncos and this is by far one of the nicest four wheel drive trucks that I have seen or owned, especially for a short bed. I have owned this truck for over three years now and have used it as my shop truck every day. Everything works as it should and it drives great down the road at 70+ mph. I would not hesitate to drive this truck anywhere and have taken it on multiple 500+ mile long trips with no issues. The transmission (C6) and transfer case were professionally rebuilt (have receipts) about 2 years ago. The complete rear driveshaft and yokes were replaced at the same time. The transfer case is full time four wheel drive NP203, but the hubs have been changed to allow part time operation. The tires are less than a year old and have about 70% tread left. The 351M engine runs great and is all stock with the exception of the valve covers and headers. The exhaust is 2.5" true dual all the way from the headers back with dual stainless tips and is less than a year old. The majority of the black paint appears to be original, although I think that the silver was added at a later date. The truck seems to have originally been all black. The only flaws on the truck other than the 37 years of rock chips, small dents, and scratches, are one rust hole the size of a dime in the lower rear of the quarter panel and it would appear that the driver's side cab corner was patched at one time (see pictures). All of the floorboards, drip rails and inside bed are very solid as are the quarter panels and tailgate. It is not a factory A/C truck and it does not have a radio in it. The seat is in good condition but the vinyl has torn at several of the seams. The cushions are still in great shape, as are the the door panels, carpet, and dash pad. I have the original title for the truck dated December of 1977 (current Louisiana title too) as well as the original owners manual. This is really a great truck that is awesome just like it is or could very easily be restored to like brand new. It is very hard to find a four wheel drive short bed in this good of condition for this price. I am listing the truck with no reserve so it will sell. Any questions feel free to ask.
