This is a 1978 Z-28 Camaro that I have been restoring for several years and am being forced to sell due to life's circumstances. I got this car from West Texas, it had been in that very dry climate it's entire life and the body shows it. When I bought it, it was basically just a shell, no interior or engine or transmission. Other than that I know nothing about the history of this car. I can get you more and better pictures. Just contact me. Here is a list of everything I have done on the car and everything I have for it: - I put the body on a rotisserie and sandblasted and cleaned the entire undercarriage and firewall. - I brushed on a nice coat of gloss black POR-15 on the undercarriage and firewall.- I removed the paint on the entire chassis, doors, fenders, etc. down to bare metal.- Repaired some small dents.- Sealed with a high quality Sherwin-Williams paint.- Continued the body work by using some body filler/putty and two or three coats of Sherwin-Williams high build primer on a few small dings and dents, getting the roof, quarters, doors, fenders, trunk lid perfect.- I also applied POR-15 on the entire inside of the body and inside the trunk.- I cleaned the subframe and lots of brackets and all the suspension and the rear differential and leaf springs and undercarriage parts.- I applied new seam sealer to all the body seams and anywhere underneath that needed sealing up. There was a spot in the trunk where water had sat, I cut that metal out and welded a patch from a donor car, grinned the welds flat and sealed it.- I applied POR-15 to all the inner bumpers and brackets. PARTS- Brand new nose cone.- 3 inch steel cowl induction hood.- Perfect, rust free, primered, Z-28 fenders.- Lower Z-28 flares/body spoilers for front and rear, along with brackets.- Rear window with built in electric defrost- Perfect inner fenders with POR-15 applied.- Original gas tank.- Front and rear seats.- All inner door parts for manual and power windows.- Perfect rear bumper.- Several drive shafts.- Original stainless steel tail pipes for dual exhaust in great condition.- Wheelie bars- Subframe connectors- brand new- Original trunk jack.- Original spare tire.- Dual Exhaust Crossmember.- Brand new tie rod ends and all steering suspension parts.- Original 3.42 posi unit.- Several boxes full of great interior parts, kick panels, sail panels, rear armrest panels, and so much more all in great shape. They need cleaning and paint/dye. Dash parts, rope steering wheel. The main pieces I can think that are missing are the dash pad, the headliner, carpet, door panels, and console.- Brand new high performance radiator.- There is a full barrel of steering columns to rebuild one really nice one from.- I have the door glass.- I have a very nice set of the 5 spoke Z-28 wheels that have been powder coated gloss black.- I believe my dad has a set of new, performance tires to go with these wheels, but I will have to check on that. - I have a 350 engine that has been machined, milled, and ready to build. It has been bored out to .010 if I remember correctly. It comes with a set of machined heads. I can't remember the number on the heads but they are a very good set. I will get that info and add it to this ad. I have a machined and balanced crank cut to .010. I have several original aluminum low profile intake manifolds as well as a few after market ones that you can chose from. - It has rebuilt door hinges.- I have purchased Sherwin-Williams base coat/clear coat gloss black paint for the car, but it as been sitting in storage so I can't guarantee that it's still good, but should be ok with some mixing. As you can see, I have done a huge amount of work and this car is in immaculate condition. I have gone through lots of parts cars to get some of these parts. It is really ready to have someone with some cash and time and space to finish out right. The car is in the exact condition and state of disassembly as you see it in the pictures. I am sure I forgot lots of things, so please contact me with any questions. The car is in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I would prefer you pick the car up, however, I could deliver it for a fee within a few hours of here. Please don't lowball me because although I "have" to sell, I don't HAVE to sell and I obviously know what it is worth and could be and will be worth over time. I will get the VIN and cowl tag info. I don't believe this is an original Z-28, just a clone.

It is a true z28 body plate confirms looks to be all original other than the edlbrok carb runs and drives great 4 speed auto. This is a 1978 Camaro project car. I have done a huge amount of work to the car already. The body is near perfect and ready for paint. It's been primed and sealed with high quality Sherwin Williams paint and the underside has been stripped, prepped, and sealed with gloss black POR-15. I have a HUGE amount of parts that go with the car, as well as a machined and ready to build 350 block with performance heads straight from the machine shop, as well as a crank, piston rods and a whole bunch of other stuff. There's a whole bunch of awesome parts including new nose cone, perfect Z-28 fenders, flares, a great set of the 5 spoke Z-28 wheels powder coated black, a 3.42 posi unit, steel cowl hood. The subframe and all suspension in the front and rear are new, all brand new bushings, etc. There is really no way for me to list everything I have done to the car or everything that is there. If you have a question about anything in particular, just send me a message and I can call you or get you whatever information you might need. I have all the wiring for the car (including A/C, Power Windows, Locks, etc.) restored and bagged and ready for installation. The car is in an indoor storage and is taken apart just the way you see it in the pictures, so you will have to plan for that when you pick it up or have it shipped. I can help with the loading or could deliver for a fee. This car has already had all the messy, hard work of restoration done. It just needs someone to finish it out. I just no longer have the time. it is equipped with a 142 CID weland blower .which produces up to 175 additional horsepower total combined 450 hp . Backed up with a 4 11 posi rear 3 speed automatic transmission with shift kit and Transpac. This car will literally smoke the tires through all three gears until you let off the gas. this is definitely one mean street machine .car runs and drives 100% steer straight stop straight the whole car has been gone through in our shop. everything mechanically is 100% car has also had brand new stainless steel with flowmasters dual exhaust from front to back the valve covers air cleaner and timing chain cover were all custom painted . To go along with the blower there is also a brand new 750 dual feed Holley carburetor. This car was originally equipped with air conditioning cruise control power door locks.
