Up for your consideration is a nice solid example of a 1984 Z/28 Camaro with the L69 High Output engine option. This has been my dads' cruising car on days where it's nice enough to take the T tops off. We are losing our storage space and we had a tough choice to make. We ended up deciding that it's better to let the car go to someone that has a place to store it because leaving it out in the weather just isn't right. Clean and clear KS title in hand. The Z car has been a car that was taken care of, but didn't go without being driven somewhat regularly. It is a very original example of a 1984 Camaro Z/28. From the double snorkel air intake to the High Output 5.0 badging this car is an 80's icon through and through and still has the styling to keep up with modern sports car looks. All of the option features work as they should except for the cruise control, windshield washer sprayer, and the passenger safety belt won't reel back in. It has some rust on the rear quarters and it does have exhaust smoke. The floor pans are original and solid, no leaks out of the T tops. It starts easy and goes up the highway nice and smooth. I have to say that it's a great feeling having the tops off and cruising up the highway, it's where the car is happy at. The tires are new within the last year and it stops with a nice firm brake pedal. Power hatch option works as it should and the hatch struts pick up the hatch with no problem. The hood struts are also fully functional and work as they should. A/C blows cold air , but in all honesty I would recommend having it serviced to get the maximum cooling capability. The gauge cluster was upgraded to a Dakota Digital unit at 94,000 miles. I still have the original dash cluster that will go with the car at time of ownership transfer. I could go on and bore you with all of the option codes this car has, but I know that stuff is fun for a new owner to look up. One of the cool things I have learned is that this car was crowned "The Best Handling American Car" by Car and Driver magazine in 1984. It is one of the more loaded up models and is only short a couple of options from being a full order sheet car. Some of the options include all of the windows being factory tinted, 4 wheel disc brakes, tilt wheel, dual power mirrors, power locks, and power windows. All in all this 84 Z/28 H.O. is a very solid example of one of the last factory muscle cars with a carburetor . If the new owner is needing delivery I am available to do that. I have a dove tail car trailer that can move the car to anywhere in the lower 48 states. If you are within 200 miles of zip code 67211 I will deliver it for the Buy It Now price. If you are past 200 miles it will be $1.00/mile after 200 miles. I am available to call or text at (316) 573-1147. Thank you for your time.

You can find out all about these Autoform conversions online. Not many were made so most likely not many exist today. And as far as I know an IROC Z pkg'd Camaro wasn't ever converted by Autoform which is one reason that I wanted to add the IROC Z look to one plus the IROC Z look just looks the BEST anyways! Also, for some reason I've only seen these Autoform conversion Z's with blue, grey, and tan color interiors so besides red being one of my most fave colors, maybe,it's a one of a kind interior color too on/in an Autoform conversion?. I've actually owned a few of these Autoform Z's over the past 25 years and I had always wanted to do to my other one's exactly what I did to this one by giving one an IROC Z look with a red color interior. Now for Pros and Cons! Pros: Rare car, looks GREAT,motor runs GREAT minus carb needing to be rebuilt, its 5.0 mtr was replaced at a new car dealership with a 5.7(350) crate motor which means more HP! Car has a new front windhield, new red carpet, recent red door panels, new decals/stripes,new center cap decals, and a recent older model but NICE Alpine CD stereo. Cons(besides what has already been mentioned above): Car needs new door/top weatherstripping,it will need a new plastic rear window for top,top has some stitching coming loose and is blue in color(from previous interior color being blue,it matched with that),but overall top is solid/useable. I had spray dyed steering wheel and shifter knob red and both need to be spray dyed again(no big deal),also, shifter knob will need the white plastic stem part that goes inside on knob's button where you push down to shift(these always break) and,I'm sure that I am forgetting a few things but hey,it's a 30 year old car and the most important parts are in all GREAT shape! Car needs some trim panels in trunk spray dyed and same for car's headliner(headliner is currently out but it is in good shape). And honestly, car really just needs to be driven more than anything! Carb may even come back to life from just driving the car(mostly car is hard to start whenever starting car cold and it has a little trouble idiling at times)! Story with car is,car had sat several years until 2 years ago whenever I bought it and basically I added IROC Z hood, front bumper cover, and wheels to it and then I sent car to the paint shop that I use,car got re-painted,and I went and picked up car and I drove it around my neighborhood twice after taking it home from paint shop and then let it sit for over half a year until last month whenever I drove it over to our new house. I like it,but just have a few toys right now and a few need to go. 10 years ago I sold a 1983 year mdl one online and it needed a new paint job and I got $8,950.00 for it so I feel that where I am pricing this one at that I am offering it at a DEAL! And once more, there is a bucket list of things either needing to be fixed/replaced and honestly I should have addressed them all already myself but due to a handful of personal deals going on in my life right now I have very little time to work on anything. If you are NOT a "car-guy" this car is NOT for you but if you are a "car-guy" then this car is ALL YOU! Everything that this car needs is all very minor stuff! *****As far as miles! I was told that car had 63,xxx. and that replaced motor only had around 8,xxx.on it but report here shows it having some crazy high miles but I seriously doubt it because car was in storage for years and car drives very tight! So bottom line here, car is EXEMPT on miles anyways vis title.***** My goal here is to be as honest as possible about every neg detail about car,to give the best DEAL on it that I can give, and to get the BEST + feedback on it possible if you buy it from me! Car is sold AS IS if sold, full payment is due within 3 business days, and,if needed,I can recommend a fast/reliable auto transporter. Thanks for looking!

Condition: Used Exterior color: White Interior color: White Transmission: Manual Engine: 8 Drivetrain: RWD Vehicle title: Clear Body type: Coupe Warranty: Vehicle does NOT have an existing warranty Standard equipment: Cassette Player DESCRIPTION: Up for sale is my 1984 Camaro. It is a 5.0 ltr mated to a T5 5 speed transmission in Z28 trim. White on white with silver and black factory trim on the exterior. Dash and console are black in color. This is a very well maintained car that has been 100% reliable for me. I bought it from a dealership when I was in the service and for a long time it was my only car. I have driven it long distances with zero issues and I would expect it to have a long life ahead of it. This is one of the nicest stock 3rd gen camaros that I have personally seen. The dealership told me that the previous owner was the original owner, although I havent checked to see if that is true, and he took extremely good care of the car until he passed. This car has never been raced or run hard and has always been serviced regularly. The car is totally stock with a few exceptions. I have replaced the usual wear parts (alternator, muffler and tips, wheel bearings, brake rotors) and added a six pack battery when the battery died. I had new suspension parts installed including a Ground Control weight jack system with new springs and new Tokico adjustable shocks all the way around. The springs can be raised / lowered with the weight jacks with simple tools if desired, and the shocks can also be adjusted for a harder or softer ride. With this upgrade the cars steering and suspension is very well tuned and handles better than most brand new cars. Handling has always been one of the strong points of the third gen camaros and this has made it even better, and the ride is very smooth and comfortable. This car is in great condition but it is still a 30 year old car. The paint job is original and is starting to rub off in a few spots. These spots are very small but they are there, so this is not a show car. The interior is complete but there are some scratches on the plastics in the trunk and the carpet does have some small stains and usual wear. Nothing major but again, its not in show condition. I will have the car professionally cleaned, waxed, and detailed before a sale is made. The car has the stock cassette player radio and a power antennae. The cars heat and defroster work fine but it came from the factory with no A/C. One unique thing about the car is that it has two pull vents underneath the dash that allow air to flow in from underneath the drivers and passengers legs. I havent seen that feature on other third gens and dont know how common it is. If you are looking for a classic car that you dont have to wrench on every weekend this is it. It wouldnt take too much to bring her back up to show car condition, and it would also make a great full resto car. I have a kid on the way and sadly it has to go for something a little more family oriented. I am asking 6000.00 OBO, and also have it listed locally. Thanks for your time.
