It belongs on a car hauler. 1984 Datsun / Nissan 300ZX Turbo 5 spd. The original Light Pewter metallic paint ( same color as the 50th Anniv. Ed ) shines new. The moldings, handles, window glass, lettering, t-top panels, covers, rubber seals, and all other exterior features are in tremendous condition. The wheels are clean and the Kumho tires are brand new ( still have 3 of 4 original tires ). It drives straight down the road with zero issues. Never intentionally driven in rain or exposed to the elements. On the inside, the Gray leather interior still looks, feels and smells new. As you can see in the pics, the seats have no wear and the flooring still holds the orig. Turbo mats from 84. The door panels, t-top bags, orig. headliner, rear hatch panels, inserts, dash ( 0 cracks ), center console, faceplates, etc. are stock orig. and all of the interior buttons / switches - power windows, door locks, antenna, window defog, cruise, hatch release function as they should. The orig. stereo / speakers sound great and the clock keeps perfect time. All of the digital lights / read outs function as they should. The spare, tools, jack, bolts, and inflator canister are still in place. Mechanically, it starts, idles, and drives as you would expect of a preserved item. The engine compartment is all stock ( still has cosmoline coating ) and servicing is up to date - a/c, belts, coolant, fluids all changed / maintained at the proper intervals, The 5 speed tranny shifts softly and it performs on all levels. The Turbo spools out just as new - 5-6psi of stock boost. Never been driven hard and it shows. The a/c is blistering cold and the brakes have plenty of pad left. The body and tires are in good shape. Overall the car runs great and shifts well. It would be good for a person, who wants to put some TLC into it. It is a V6 5 speed. I received this car from my brother who passed away in April. In addition I had the car check out by Ostrander Auto Werks (301)876-9061, where it needed the thermostat, fuel regulator, and distributor cap changed out. I also had the battery replaced, and the hood and hatch back struts replaced. The speedometer, does not work, but I was informed from Mike, that for a car that is 31 years old it is in great shape. He also informed me that any who is interested in the car can call him to ask any questions. The car was kept in the garage, where it is now. I drive it at least once a week. Has a little over 120,000 miles on it, but the interior needs a little TLC. NADA has an average retail value listed as $7,325.00. Recently I took it back to Ostrander, because I smelled fuel and it had a pin hole leak and has been repaired. Mike also informed me that since I have been driving it has developed very small leak in the valve cover, shifter seal, and real differential. This was due to my brother kept it in the garage and didn't drive it that much. The car does run good and has a lot of power, I just want to be honest to the person that wants to purchase it.

Very nice, clean, southern 2-owner, first-year Z31 Unmolested car that is mostly original – lots of recent maintenance. Runs and drives good – everything works, including cold AC. Mechanicals: The car starts easy and idles smooth. She’s cold-blooded, but once up to operating temp she runs strong and smooth. Car drives good – steering is tight, no pulling. Car shifts and stops good. This ZX has had recent timing belt, serpentine belt, tune up, starter, blades and bulbs. Good tires and exhaust. Just passed TX state safety inspection this week that certifies that brakes, tires, exhaust, lights, wipers, horn, and P-brake are good to go. Body: Incredibly solid southern, garage-kept car. The sides of the car still have their original paint in good shape – nice deep shine, minimal fade, only minor scratches, couple door dings. The top and hood were ‘treated’ to a so-so touch-up about a year and a half ago...color matches well, but the finish is a bit mottled/flat and has quite a bit of orange peel. Not bad, but not great – think a good wet-sanding/buff would make a huge difference. I found three teen-tiny bubbles of future rust starting around the windshield frame (photos available), but otherwise completely rust-free. Glass: All original in good shape w/light factory tint. T-tops fit well – no rattles, whistles or leaks. Interior: Believed to be completely original and in good shape. The dash has been covered for years, as you can tell by its excellent condition – all gauges work. The door panels are good, including original map pockets. The seats have held up surprisingly well...no real tears or split seams in the upholstery. The seats definitely show some wear and light staining, but not too bad. Headliner and visors are great. Some cracking around the rear speaker grilles. Amenities: This car is loaded: T-tops, auto w/overdrive, PW, PL, AC, cruise, courtesy voice (“lights are on”), nice stereo. Extras: T-top bags and straps are intact and included. Original owner’s manual and some sales brochures, records and receipts. Includes Chilton and Haynes manuals, and full service manual. Full disclosure: The gas cartridges for the hood are shot, and the ones for the hatch are weak. The passenger side seat belt was pulled all the way out and needs to be reset to work properly.

Badged with a Nissan 50th anniversary emblem (but this is not the Turbo version).Car has been garaged in low-humidity California since 1985. It has leather interior, digital dash, power seat. Everything works except for the MPG and Compass indicator whose readouts are not visible. There is no rust or salt damage, and no rips in the upholstery or interior (which shows as almost new). No cigarette smoke, perfume, or cologne smells.Engine runs well with no problems. It has always passed CA smog inspection too. My mother drove this for the last 30 years and treated it well except for the scratches. There is a ding on right rear (see pic). I fell in love with this car. I also wanted a second car that was not a truck…so, I purchased this Z car in Los Angeles, California almost eighteen years ago (1997) from my girlfriends hansom young Canadian rock band drummer. This vehicle was previously registered in British Columbia Canada. According to Insurance Corporation of British Columbia, “the car was involved in a collision on August 20, 1992 that rendered the vehicle a total loss. After that it was designated with the status “Salvage”. It was auctioned off through the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia salvage yard system and subsequently rebuilt. It was registered again on October 28, 1992 and given the status “Rebuilt”, after it passed a mechanical and structural integrity inspection”. The Carfax report shows that the car was rendered “Salvage” and “Rebuilt” again in 1994 & 1997 after it passed a mechanical and structural integrity inspection. When I registered the car in California, the odometer reading was 146,088 miles. Since then I have replaced the clutch, transmission, timing belt, alternator, the electronic dash, computer, breaks, interior console, interior dash & digital gauges, catalytic converter, interior trim molding, carpet, sensors, and more. In the past 18 years I have only driven the car 14,895 miles (approximately 827 miles per year). The body does have some rust under the right rear wheel well, hatch, and small half dollar size rust areas near both side mirrors and license plate. While parked in my driveway, the car received cosmetic damage to the body in the front, & front left (repaired) and left rear wheel panel. Mechanically, the car runs greats, sound good and still can through you back in your seat upon acceleration. Cosmetically it look great except as noted above.
