This listing is for two Toyota FJ60 Land Cruiser wagons-one is a 1984 model year daily driver and the other is a 1987 model year and is included for spare parts or, as with the interior, to sell or use in another Cruiser. The Beautiful Vintage 1984 Toyota Landcruiser FJ60 is a living testament to the legendary durability and timeless beauty of Landcruiser design and engineering. Originally sold at the American Toyota dealership in Albuquerque, New Mexico it has been owned by two families in New Mexico and South Africa that have taken very good care of it and have utilized it to its full potential. I have a photocopy of the original title issued in 1984. Despite having nearly 373,000 miles! on it it is still in daily driver condition-miles are increasing daily as it is my daily driver. It comes with the original owner's manual, touchup paint, and inspection light. The paint, moldings, chrome, bumpers, and trim are all original. The original carpet is still installed, but it is torn some in the rear cargo area. In the passenger compartment, the carpet is in good shape, if a little faded from the sun. There is no rust, although the original 33 year old paint is getting thin in spots, which is giving it a beautiful patina. The dashboard has a crack. The window crank handles are missing the rotating knobs at the end of them. The AC has been retrofitted to R-134A, the hose under the battery tray has a slow leak, so right now the AC does not work and would need a recharge. There is also an oil leak from the power steering reservoir. The cylinder head gasket was recently replaced, the head was rebuilt, and a new radiator was installed. There is an engine oil leak-was going to rebuild and reseal the second engine included in the silver parts FJ60 (pictured) that is offered for sale along with this one in the listing. The second cruiser has just over 247,000 miles and was running strong until the head gasket went out on it. It has blue interior, which is in really good shape, and can be sold off to pay for the expense of owning a second spare parts Landcruiser full of all sorts of mechanical parts available for use on the tan Landcruiser to keep it running strong another 370,000 miles. The second cruiser has no title and no keys-both lost-and is being sold as is for spare parts. Its AC system is still fully intact and it still has freon in it. I was going to take off the A/C hoses and install them on the tan Cruiser. The transmission, differentials, axles, transfer case, power steering, steering gear, and frame are all in good shape. The only problems it has are the corrosion in the usual quarter panel spots, and the head is off the engine. The carburetor is good for a rebuild unit, and the emissions control parts are present for both trucks. The idle circuit on the carb in the tan FJ60 is acting up some and sometimes the truck dies out when it's hot. But it always easily restarts. The silver FJ60 is the 1987. Both are offered as-is where is, with no warranty stated or implied. These are vintage trucks and together you can restore the tan beauty, sell off some of the silver one, and get a good deal if you want to put in some sweat equity. That was my plan and I made some progress, but, alas, my plans have changed and I need something better on fuel as I drive over 25,000 miles a year. I will work with the buyer and hold the trucks as long as you need. The silver one is a tow away, as stated previously-no keys and the engine is partially disassembled. Both trucks have the original wheels and the 1984 even has the original rear hub caps and mud flaps. The tan truck can drive anywhere and is really fun to drive. It also has new 31X1050X15 MasterCraft Courser tires that have less than 3,000 miles on them. Either way, shipping is the buyer's responsibility. I will hold the trucks as long as needed and facilitate pick up by a shipper or by the buyer. Would prefer to sell both Cruisers together, but will consider selling one or the other. If you're interested, make an offer. I happen to think the asking price is fair, considering the 1984 requires only freshening up and upholstery on the front seats to be restored, other than some other interior touches and some minor mechanical stuff, and would be a $15,000 to $20,000 truck once complete, and the parts on the '87 are worth quite a bit, considering some are hard to find, and a lot of the interior is in good condition. With a second truck you could rebuild the engine while driving the first and when complete install the engine and be good to go.

Selling my 1984 Toyota Pickup, 4wd, extended cab with 22R motor, 5-speed manual. It only has 125k miles. This truck is NOT in perfect condition and it has some small areas of rust. With that being said, it is in great condition for its age- what I believe to be far above average. I looked for an '84 for a long time and jumped on this one when I found it. I bought to use on the weekends- go to the coffee shop, etc. and putt around town. I had hopes to restore it slowly, but we have a house project right now that has spiraled out of control, so we need some extra funds . The previous owner had it for about 20 years and had purchased it from a dealership. so its history before that is more or less unknown. That owner kept it garaged, took good care of it and always cleaned the dirt and grime out of the sills behind the body panels, which probably has helped reserve the body quite a bit above average. It always starts easily, even on sub-zero mornings. It has good power, good compression and never burns oil. 4wd works great, it handles great- much better than the later models in my opinion- much less body roll compared to the IFS. It leaks a little oil as most of them do. It could probably use some new disc rotors as they seem a little warped, but it never bothered me. There is a dent in the back right corner, the rest of the body is quite strait and without dings. Anything that has needed to be replaced or fixed has been taken care of, which hasn't been much as it has just been a weekend truck for my wife and I to cruise around in. It has the original spare, jack, tool kit and owner's manual. Interior is in good shape, seats have always been covered and there are no cracks on the dash. I tried to describe it as best as I can here with pictures, but let me know if you have any questions. I don't want any surprises for the bidder or myself.

Available is my 1984 Toyota 4x4 Extra cab. This truck has been fully restored, significant amount of Money/Time invested, and tastefully upgraded. A lot of time was spent making this truck drive better than new on the street, while outperforming the majority of 4x4's offroad. It is daily driver/commuter friendly, very reliable, and still achieves decent mpg. As you can see, this truck is in much better condition both cosmetically and mechanically than most newer Toyota trucks available. I think the quality of the truck reflects the amount of time/money invested (see photos). If you've ever restored a classic vehicle you know its usually much cheaper just buying one completed. I trailered this truck from shop to shop for suspension / Interior / Drivetrain / Paint / etc... and quickly ran up to over $35K to have everything done/built the way I wanted. I gave up and did most the work myself, only having the body & interior professionally worked on. In an effort to keep the ad short & easy to read, I'll describe in sections below: Body: I had the truck professionally painted, which was an expensive time consuming process. Only quality products used, and the entire truck was epoxy primed and smoothed before color application. Color is Olive Drab Green (matt finish) military paint code used (PPG Product) -Body disassembled down to tub, This included all glass being removed. -Individually painted body panels for a complete/professional color change. -PPG paint for a lasting finish, very strong paint that will Not fade or easily scratch. -During reassembly all new weather stripping and seals were used (expensive). Truck is very tight, no leaks. -Brand new windshield during reassembly. -Truck bed professional coated with bed liner during paint process. -OEM style Toyota graphics professionally created/installed by local shop. -Canopy color match and in excellent condition. Installed with new Alloy U.S. made roof rack. (Keys included for canopy) -The paints provides a nice look, but you can still take it down the trails/camping with no worry of scratching & is easily touched up. -New Trail Gear direct bolt on rear bumper with built in 2" receiver ($450 new). Drive Train: -Original Low Miles 22r (138,000) -Rebuilt Transmission & New OEM Clutch kit (receipts included) -New Trail Creep Transfer case from Trail Gear. The 4.70 Ratio make obstacles a breeze. (see photos) -New complete stainless 2.25" exhaust, including stainless muffler (life time system, and fully welded) -New Weber carburetor, and LCE upgraded adapter. (better performance/reliability) -New camshaft for added torque, new rocker arms installed same time (261 crawler Cam) -New Timing chain set -Rebuilt rear differential with Detroit Limited Slip & master install kit. Rebuilt by the best from Ken at gearinstalls.com. Expensive, but huge improvement off road and seamless operation on the street. -Aussi Locker in front diffentail. Unnoticeable until you need it (yes it turns effortlessly in 4WD) -Rebuilt power steering box, and new pump -Front axle serviced with new Knuckle seals & bearings. Rear axle rebuilt with new bearings/seals(see pics) -New driveshaft u-joints & new carrier bearing. -All new fluids, and in-depth tune up. Suspension: Everything was replaced, and the truck rides softer & more comfortably than stock. -New high quality Old Man Emu springs front and back (2" lift) -Brand new BFG 33x10.5 tires, mounted on new pro-comp wheels ($1600 in wheels tires) -New Rough country shocks -All bushings replaced (OME Urethane) -New steering stabilizer. -New tire rods -All new brakes front and back, to include hoses (see pics). Interior: Interior gutted during paint process, and reassembled by local upholstery shop. -Fresh bucket seats in excellent condition (No holes or stains) -New headliner, finished in nicer material than original. -New high quality carpet kit -Very clean dash, no cracks -Still has the original Toyota Radio (works great). Original Clock works as well. -Door panels original, and very clean / uncut. . In summary I don't think you'll find a nicer original solid axle Toyota. Gets complements every time I drive it (People don't believe there's an 84 left in this condition). Looks great and drives even better, and goes anywhere you point it. With the minor modifications to the motor, the power is good and easily cruises 70+ on the hwy all day. Very fun truck to own. Goes better than most Jeeps and FJ40's, plus you actually have a real truck bed (6ft) and the MPG is much more acceptable. Some of the reasons why I choose to invest in a Pickup. Please note I will work with the buyer on shipping (I can take time off to meet with a transport truck). Selling this extremalley rare, unique diesel vintage truck , last year of production of this Japan medium size 4x4 truck., There is only few left 1984 trucks left and probably few in good condition , very ,very rare, 84 is the last edition where Toyota made few changes not only the ,,5 speed tranny or very important power steering , which is also available in only 1983 version models , but others changes like new very fast preheating system allow you start this diesel engine in 3 seek , and mechanism to prevent open hood from outside but you need pull handle from inside the vehicle .,and few more changes in suspension according to Toyota from that days., I got this vehicle 8 ago and remember ,was so hard even that time to find any like this specially the 1984 in good condition ,after few years of driving decide to back again to factory look, so start collect parts and make a plan., Takes years ,slowly finish all the work., The frame was separate from the body and small fix was done on them , cleaned painted use ,,Bullet proof '' paint , fenders and other metal original panel parts come from Toyota , all coursings between frame and top are new ,suspension are new ,included all shocks ,bushing ,shackles was install., engine and tranny also have new coursings install ,engine have only original 130.000 miles , so is like new condition ,was checked and only new glow plugs ( fast hitting ) installed ,with fresh diesel Castrol engine oil and filters plus all new Toyota belts also install ., all other fluids and oil in the both axles and tranny are new ,breaks fluid and cooling fluid are new when replaced .,breaks are new ,works perfect included emergency break., slave cylinder .,break pomp., calipers ,all electric equipment's is working .,(all lights) ,two hitters and two fans keep excellent hit for front driver and rear for passengers ,seats are in great shape with other interior parts , the expensive head liner was just professionally install ,the hard top is in great shape ,all doors are like new no rust on the bottom ,they are always been like new .,all robber door sealing new and come from Toyota .,The front glass are brand new from Toyota ,there is many other new parts installed included brand new of road tires ,,Hercules "31 sitting on a factory original rims with brand new shiny cubs ,front Toyota bumper and rears stop bumpers new as well ,the rear and fronts lights are new and all expensive emblems new to ,there is original 24 volts Toyota radio with expensive telescopic outside antenna located on right side fender ,the fuel tank was restored and coted by special paint, long list conform by all documentation and bills I have ,This is very nice truck , highly wanted by collectors and by people who want have something unique reliable ,very economy unstoppable suv , best of road and keep value machine and ,,PLEASE REMEBER ''this 1984 is the truly last year when Toyota made bj 42 short model with legendary ,,3B diesel engine available in Canada , this is left hand drive vehicle with clear title and can be register with no any problem in any place in US. or any other country where left hand driving is require. ,Please also remember you will never loose any dollar you spend to buy my truck , this vintage highly collectable vehicle be only more expensive every year and be only more wanted by collectors but only this year , no others model even they look more sophisticate . , Email me please for more information true the EBay website , ask question or ask for my tell number contact, so we can discus any issue or concern ,thanks

Engine code W, Fuel injection with new engine parts. 4 wheel drive, automatic, front and rear axles completely gone through. Detroit Locker in rear, ARB AIR LOCKER in front.
