1985 Chevy El Camino - Family owned - Excellent cond - clean title - 4.3 liter V-6, 3 speed automatic transmission, AM/FM cassette, AC, bed liner, less than 112k original miles. NO RUST whatsoever!! NEW: A/C compressor, condenser and filter water pump, thermostat, radiator and hoses, Master Cylinder, Rear Brake shoes and Front Brake pads fuel pump, and fuel pump relay, Spark Plugs, Oxygen sensor New paint Job in January 2015 - original stock color - Dupont Cromax Light Walnut. All molding and insignias were removed but we left the insignias off when finished. New lower rubber molding was installed on the driver and passenger doors and there was one small ding with bondo on the right rear corner, other than that the body was completely straight. Top of the dashboard has a couple of cracks gunning from front to back. The molding is all there but it is dinged a bit by the right rear wheel well. There has been a bedliner in the truck for it's entire life, so the bed is in great shape. I have unbolted the bedliner to verify that there is no body rust on the entire vehicle. The original upholstery is also in very good condition although there is a small rip where the driver sits. This car runs great and drives like a dream. CALL OR TXT: 8O5 7O5 THREE THREE SEVEN SEVEN Vehicle history: Purchased new by my father on Nov. 15 1985 from Ely-Anderson Chevrolet (300 El Camino Real, Menlo Park CA) I have all of the original paperwork, including the dealer's warranty, owner's manual and the original El Camino Brochure. My father kept the vehicle garaged and saved all of his service records and repair receipts for nearly 20 years. The owner's manual looks as though someone spilled transmission fluid on it. Mechanically the car runs beautifully and it has always started right up. When the spark plugs were replaced, we ran a compression test. All of the cylinders registered between 167 and 173. In 1997 the vehicle was hit while parked on the street, damaging the hood and left front quarterpanel along with the right front axle which was broken as the vehicle was pushed up onto the curb. All of the damaged parts were replaced and we have kept all of the paperwork associated with those repairs and the insurance claim. In August of 2005, with approximately 108,000 miles, the car was given to my brother, who drove it down to Santa Barbara and parked it at my house for approx. 18 months before selling it to me. Since 2005 it has been driven very sparingly (approx 112,000 miles presently) and the following parts have been replaced: water pump, thermostat, Radiator and hoses Master Cylinder, brake fluid for the entire system Spark Plugs, fuel pump, and fuel pump relay Rear Brake shoes and Front Brake pads Oxygen sensor

I have a 1985 Chevy k-20. I took it 100% apart and got all the rust off the chassis and repainted or replaced everything. I put a Bedliner on the frame, painted the front and rear differentials and painted and rebuilt the lead springs. Replaced the entire brake system, shocks, fuel system and retired the chassis. It has a 4" lift with 32" tires on right now and plenty of space to go bigger. Brand new rims and the tires only have about 1000 miles on them. I replaced the cab corners, rockers, rear rockers, floor pan, and floor supports. The only problem is the truck won't run. It has an 87 tbi 350 with the 87 computer and wiring harness. The injectors aren't pulsating to give it fuel. If I force fuel to it is starts right up. I painted the motor and it's very clean. I would love to keep and fix the truck but I don't have the time or money and I need a car for work soon. All together I have a bout $4500 worth of parts into it. All it needs is to get running, a grill, a bed and a paint job to be in perfect condition. First person with cash gets it. Call anytime after 2 during the week and text or email anytime. Thanks, Max. Condition: Used Exterior color: Black Interior color: Red Transmission: Manual Fule type: Gasoline Engine: 8 Drivetrain: 4X4 Vehicle title: Clear Body type: Pickup Truck Warranty: Vehicle does NOT have an existing warranty Standard equipment: 4-Wheel Drive DESCRIPTION: This is an excellent opportunity to own a truly one of a kind truck. Many, many great extras that make this a must see if youre looking for a 73-87 C/K10. ConditionThis truck has no rust (ok, some unavoidable surface "rust", but no pitting or flaking). It was originally from the Pacific Northwest and has been well maintained. Some minor scratches in the paint but overall looks good. It is in great working order mechanically (many new parts, see below), and I currently use it as a daily driver. Features- ZZ4 crate 350 rated at 355 HP and 405 lb-ft torque. The engine was brand new when installed and has about 12k miles on it. A mechanic friend and I installed it a year and a half ago and had another mechanic check our work. Runs great.- Hooker 2453-1HKR Competition Ceramic Headers - new with engine- Bilstein 5100 shocks- Custom leaf springs with heavy duty shackles from OffRoadDesign giving it a 3" front and 3.5" rear suspension lift. These springs combine with the Bilsteins for an unbelievable ride (obviously, still not as good as a brand new truck, but better than any other K10 out there, promise).- new all metal radiator- The interior tub was sprayed with Line-X, as was the bed- New carpet and sound deadening in the cab- Retro-looking digital radio connected to two rear 6x9s mounted in the back corners and 2 subwoofers under the seat- I replaced the normal gauge setup with one from a 78 suburban and replaced the tach**- 33" Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac tires with about 6k mile on them, 1 spare on rim, 1 non-matching spare w/out rim- new aluminum locking camper shell- It is wired for satellite radio- just had the oil changed, running synthetic other new items: door straps, cup holder, alternator, hydraulic clutch assembly, clutch was replaced with the engine, glove box, light switch, fuel tank selector switch, driver side window weather strip, fuel filter, spark plugs - The transmission is a SM465 (very durable, can handle up to 465 kb-ft torque) and in good shape- 12 bolt rear, 10 bolt front with locking hubs **The "new" speedo is not calibrated for 33" tires. It reads about 10% faster than youre actually going, which means the mileage does not reflect exactly either. This didnt concern me too much, but if you want it to be accurate, the fix is fairly easy, just a matter of changing a part in the speedo itself...or live with it. I have receipts for almost all of the work done and items bought. If you have any questions, please ask. I would keep this truck forever, but my work brought me into the city and I drive almost 100 miles/day. You can do the math on that. She needs a new home and some mud/rocks/snow to keep her happy.
