All of the moldings, handles, window glass, lettering, roof panels, rubber seals, and all other exterior features are in super condition. The door panels, t-top bags, carpeting, dash, faceplates, etc. are original and show no wear. The wheels have no abuse and the tires have are new. It drives straight down the road and sticks like glue in the curves. It will stop on a dime with 4 wheel disk brakes!. On the inside, the Tan/Charcoal interior still looks, feels, like new. As you can see in the pics, the seats have always been covered and have the TURBO logo on them, and the original floor mats have always been protected. The door panels, t-top bags, sun shields, carpeting, dash, faceplates, etc. are flawless. All of the interior buttons / switches - power windows, door locks, cruise, hatch release, fuel door, It has the original luxury stereo, w/15 band equalizer, ambient controls for driver, passenger, plus defeat. You may pinpoint sound to come from any corner or blend to your favorite sweet spot. The spare tire compartment still has the orig. spare and never been on the ground, inflator canister, jack, bolts are still in place. The interior is a 9.95/10. Mechanically, it starts, idles, and drives smoothly as you would expect. it to. The engine compartment / undercarriage are spotless, and it performs without hesitation. With the Turbocharger you have power to spare and can feel it in the seat of your pants when the boost glues you to the seat. The Turbocharger still has factory boost (approx 4 lbs. and has never been exceeded or modified). I just added K&N Turbo Flow filter and NGK Iridium sparkplugs ($16.00ea) that alone gave a noticeable boost. The 5 speed engages easily and has that new car snap and precision.. The A/C is freezing cold and the climate control monitors cabin temp and air flow, diverting the flow of air from re-circulate to reduce dust and pollen to fresh air to directing it to the floor or dash vents. The brakes have plenty of pad left and stop you with confidence. All of the other mechanical functions perform without issue. If you are looking for an unmolested; hard to find 300ZX here you go. These cars are few and far between and will surely appreciate in the years to come. I think it is priced very fairly compared to the others listed on ebay and what else exists.. The paint, tires, battery, have been replaced due to obvious reasons. This car has been gone over with a fine tooth comb and restored to its former state; cosmetically, mechanically, and functionality. My 1985 Z-car is getting pushed out. I am the 2nd owner of the Z. All records are included. The first owner had her dealer serviced 75% of the time, other 25% was at local franchise lube place. I have all the receipts. I have owned many a Z car and consider myself a Z nerd. This one is really nice. 8 out of 10 overall. The photos were taken 7 days ago.The Pioneer stereo and all 4 speakers are new. I used a dealer installer to re run all the wires and installed a bluetooth microphone that is hidden in top left corner of front window for phone calls as the Pioneer is blluetooth as well. Full LED lights in the Pioneer. I chose this unit because the green matches the Z lighting schema perfectly. Original radio is included and you will get it as well. You will also get a few OEM oil filters and a few OEM fuel filters. Old owner had a case of filters and some air filters that i have used. He wanted all this z to always use Nissan parts. I had her tinted about 9 months ago. Texas sun and all. She is garaged every night! Paint is about a 7. You can see that it's kind of faded and losing the cherry red pop. Inside the Z is nice! 8.5. No rips or tears anywhere. Leather is soft and rubber on dashboard is NOT cracked anywhere. The only thing is that the stitching on the passenger seat is fraying. You can see it in the photo. Not even close to it. It really doesn't see the sun too often. I park in a garage for work, so she stays cool. All the interior lights work except the digital milage counter on the lower right part of the dash. It comes on once and a while, but mostly not. It's not a big deal really imho. The gas gauge works when it's full and when it gets low. In the middle it reads full. NO LEAKS, T-tops fit perfect. All original stickers are where they should be. All plastic trunk pieces are there. Also included are the t-top sun visors and t-top leather covers that the t-tops get stored in. Runs awesome and does not get driven hard. This is my baby Z and my daily driver. To and from work and then mostly garaged on the weekend unless going to car shows or drives with club friends. Starts up every time and is reliable as heck! Got new tires right before halloween. Well-maintained, timing belt changed at 124,000. 163K total miles. They purchased this from the original owner here in Arizona in 1992; it only had 17000 miles on it at the time. Paint is original in good condition, still shines. There are a few small blemishes with the paint here and there that are pictured. The toyo proxes tires are in good shape with at least 75% of tread remaining if not more. Original sales sheet and window sticker are in the dash as well as many years of maintenance and registration receipts. Original wheels are painted grey as the factory coating was coming off, can be refinished to original polished aluminum if desired. Interior is clean overall, there is one cigarette burn on the drivers seat. The carpet is in good condition in the front and what I would consider fair condition in the trunk area. The t-tops are in good shape and do not leak, included are the original bags to store the tops in when not needed. Power windows and lock work as they should. A/C works but needs to be recharged as the system is low and I have not used it for a couple years because I did not want to damage the compressor due to it being low on oil. Digital dash is functional, occasionally turns off due to power connector under the dash needing to be cleaned (this is a common problem with z31's) Has an alpine cd/radio that works well. Timing belt and water pump were changed a few years ago, but have less than 5k miles on them. Aftermarket Certified Muffler 3" exhaust is less than 2 years old. It does it job, and held the battery in place even during a couple brief track days that the car was used at. -Cylinder head temperature sensor needs to be replaced, causes a stumble when the engine is cold. The stumble goes away in a minute of driving (if you let the car warm up before driving this is a non issue) -Slight curling of dash on edges (pictured) -Rear carpet condition (pictured).
