Here for your consideration is a 1985 Toyota Celica GTS LE convertible. There were only 2,776 made for the entire year It's been in Arizona most or all of its life the body is extremely straight and everything works power windows power locks even has tilt and cruise and an AM/FM CD player the top works and is in good condition the body is in excellent condition No accidents to my knowledge or anything wrong with it safety wise It has the original wheels the interior is immaculate condition considering it's in Arizona car only one crack in the – Matt on it most to all of its life Air-conditioning automatic with overdrive it's approximately 25 to 30 miles to the gallon runs and drives straight no known mechanical issues these things are getting harder and harder to find in this kind of shape and certainly the convertibles there were not a lot of them made so finding one in this nice shape for this reasonable price it's kind of unheard of. The NADA Guides show a value of over 4,000.00. So this is half that. I have owned this car for the last 10 years and it has served our family very well. Currently runs well. 180,000 miles on the body, rebuilt engine with about 75,000k on it. Rear wheel drive. 2.4lt. 22-RE engine fuel injected. New tires. Rebuilt alternator 6 months ago. Rear differential rebuilt 5 years ago. Convertible works in manual mode. Newer exhaust. No large dents. Auto windows work. Small tear on the conv. top. Needs lots of electrical work. Auto top does not work. Dash is cracked. Auto door locks need work. Cruise control does not work. Head lights/tail lights are hooked up manually. Has some minor dents and scratches on the body. Top leaks. Trunk and gas door latches don't work. Plastic window trim are peeling. Speedometer not working correctly. Needs rear brakes. Small oil leak and tranny leak. Engine Appears greasy. No radio. Has defects all around the car nothing major but selling as is for a restoration project or just to drive as is. Must see in person to appreciate. Can provide more pics. Kenwood AM/FM/HD/CD receiver with Kicker speakers (installed in place of original speakers). BFG white letter radial T/A tires, 60% tread remaining. New head gasket installed by dealer last month. Has small rust spot under gas tank door and needs paint (has some failing clear coat on hood and beginning on the roof). Hi have a 1985 Celica Convertible in nice shape only 2 light surface rust spots. These cars are rare and usually Rusted out, but not this one, very very solid. For sale is the rare and awesome 1985 Toyota Celica GTS Convertible. These are awesome little cars and really fun to drive. This is a solid car for it's age and runs and drives decently with 145k miles on the 22-RE motor. Really straight with no rust. The convertible top will need to be replaced, but frame and rear glass is included. I keep the car inside and drive only on sunny days as a convertible... so hasn't been much of a problem for me:-) There were only about 4000 of these made and sold in the US.
