I have owned this car since 2004. In that time it spent 8 years garage kept, and about 2 years outside. Everything is original GM parts. The drivers side door was replaced prior to my purchasing with an exact match 1986 GM door. Listed below are the things wrong with the vehicle: *Some paint chips on the front bumper (pictures included) *The panel above the drivers seat is lose (picture included) *The duel exhaust pipes were taken off *The radio still works but there is a wiring issues inside so the only way to turn it on is by a toggle switch that was added to the side of the radio on the drivers side. Listed below are some positives: **This particular Z28 model only came out in 1985 & 86. It has a tune port injected 305 engine which was typical of the 350 small block but not the 305. **The interior is a close to perfection as it gets: no rips, burns, non-smoking, and the dash board is in perfect condition which is very hard to find with these older Camaros. **50,000 original miles. Original owner put 42,000, 2nd owner put none it was included in the house he purchased from the original owner and then resold to me, I have but just under 8,000 miles on it in 10 years. It has a clean title, the original owners manual, and all of the paper work for what I have had done maintenance wise for the car in the last 10 years I have owned it. The third-generation Chevrolet Camaro was introduced for the 1982 model year by Chevrolet. It continued to use General Motors's F-body platform.These were also the first Camaros with factory fuel injection, four-speed automatic transmissions, 16-inch wheels, and hatchback bodies. A newly required Center High Mounted Stop Lamp (CHMSL) was installed on the Camaro. 1986 was the only year to see this attached to the hatchback glass on base model Sport Coupes, Z28s and IROC-Zs. In following years it was incorporated into the rear decklid spoiler, except for 1987 base models that did not have a spoiler. This was the final year for the L69 5.0 305 HO 4-bbl option, of which 63 were built for racing as Canadian Player's cars and 11 for public sale, making a total of 74. The 2.8 L V6 was now the standard engine in the base model, replacing the 2.5 L I-4 model. The 305 TPI LB9 horsepower rating dropped from 215 hp (160 kW) to 190 hp (142 kW) in the IROC-Z models. All V8 engines received a new one-piece rear main seal. In June of 1986, a few 5.7 L TPI equipped IROC-Zs were released before the switchover to the 1987 model year production This car is a Z28, low mileage.. I am the 3rd Owner of the car the 2nd owner only had it for about 8 months. The car runs excellent and has a current sticker in Maine. The car has been registered in the state of Maine and after the year of 1995 they don't require a tittle. Some states are different. It has an aftermarket exhaust. .
