I have a 1988 Honda Accord LX-I with a automatic transmission and a 2.0 liter fuel injected motor. It is black with beige interior. The interior I would say is 7/10 and the body is about 5/10. It has a couple scratches and dings (to be expected on a car this year), I recently replaced parts on the front end (the left front quarter panel, hood, bumper) so you can see that the quarter panel is primer black and the hood and bumper is silver. It has a 160,000 original miles on the car it has trouble starting and idles rough at times, but always turns over. It currently needs a battery, so it can't be started. It currently has a set of fat fives off an Acura Integra that can be seen in the first picture. I have two new front tires and two good ones in the back as well (50 percent tread or more). It also has had a tune up and oil change. I have an aftermarket air intake and an alpine stereo that's wired for a sub and amp. I also have a 15" Rockford Fosgate subwoofer and an amp that isn't hooked up, but will come with the car as well. I would say it averages 25 mpg. The title is clean. I've been driving this car for almost a year and it runs great. Bought this as a one owner car that was originally purchased at Hoffman Honda in Avon, CT. Original paperwork included. It has 4 new tires. I have changed the oil and air filter. It still had the original Michelin tires on it - saved 2 of them and planned to buy a rim for a full size spare tire. They come with the car. The auto-down window function on the driver's door sometimes takes a few tries to work so a replacement window switch is included for the drivers door. The AC does not work. It needs to be upgraded to 134A but everything else works. Even the power antenna and cassette player/radio work. I have used it to listen to an MP3 player. I photographed a couple of small rust spots too. I'm driving the car some, have 2 other vehicles so mileage may change a bit before auction ends. Buy it as a collectible or just a low mileage, clean used car that should offer years of service. These Accords are well known to go many many miles with very little maintenance. For sale is my beloved 1988 Honda Accord LXi with 213K miles...and yes, she could easily go another 213K! This model was the top of the line Accord model in 1988 and has every option available that year (5spd, sunroof, power everything). Mechanically, she's in amazing condition. Cosmetically, pretty darn close to amazing as well, with the exception of a little bit of rust around the drivers rear wheel well (see pictures).I'm the second owner. I have all service records from 2004 onward from the original owner. Everything has been done on this car over it's life - all recommended and required maintenance was done by either Honda of Tyson's Corner or Honda of Chantilly here in the Washington DC area. New belts, hoses, brakes, water pump, timing belt and so on...you name it, it's been done! The car runs great - I drive it daily and it gets 32 MPG consistently. Comfortable, safe and reliable. Since October I've replaced the radio with a stock Honda radio (with CD player) and have replaced all the speakers. Tires are newer and have only about 8k miles on them. Recent oil change. (pictures posted are from 15 years ago) but it is one-of-a-kind and only one of these was built. The top was never finished and just sits in the trunk area but it is on a door hinge and does come up and down. The top is one piece and does not fold, it just "flips" up and down with one motion.
