Runs Great with good brakes shocks exhaust etc.. New throttle cable and service, good blower, vac lines etc.. lights windows and power options work good. fog lights are good but one is burnt out, has a crank up sunroof, a/c needs charged it short cycles, auto seats belts, real decent interior, good headliner and front and rear carpet, cargo cover, original spare, good tires, pretty good old survivor car. has several amps and monster cables for a system that was in it at some point, has an aftermarket security system with remote as well, rims are original and in good shape, has 2 of the 4 center caps for rims, locking gas cap with key, Rare car (very) you don't see these running around or available to often. The car has the factory 5 speed, 2.6 L Mitsubishi 4 cylinder turbo with boost and is a FAST car. Back Hatch shocks are good, all locks and keys are good, it is a mid west car, and with that being said it has some rust bubbles, scaling and paint fade, if it were a southern or west coast car the price would be MUCH HIGHER.. Overall it is a good solid driver or restore car. 1989 Chrysler Conquest with a 2jzge TURBO. This car is relatively clean, smooth and fast. It has a 2jzge engine with a 60-1 MasterPower turbo. The engine has ARP head studs, custom intake manifold, Coil On Plug and T4 exhaust manifold. I have twin Bosch 044 fuel pumps and 83 lb/prhr fuel injectors and custom fuel lines and fuel rail. The transmission is a FTI fully built turbo 400 and custom torque converter. It is full manual with a stage 3 shift kit that barks the rear tires real hard on the 1-2 shift. B&M pro ratchet shifter and custom driveshaft. Factory fuel tank has been sumped to accommodate the feeding of the twin pumps. Interior is black leather seats that are in fairly good shape with a maroon roof liner. Battery relocated to trunk. Over a 100+ hours invested in the swap. Let me know of any questions you may have. 1989 Chrysler Conquest TSI SHP Model. So Mitsubishi only made a limited amount of these perhaps 1000 in 1989, the SHP stood for Sport Handling Package. Bigger wheels, adjustable suspension, sunroof, bigger axles, better transmission, etc. 1989 Chrysler Conquest TSI SHP model. They only made 1000 of the SHP models for year 1989. This is originally an Arizona car with 78k on the body. This has an 18G Mitsubishi turbocharger, short shifter, OVC hard pipe, 83 scooped hood, 3" straight exhaust w/down pipe, bov, sunroof, SHP adjustable shocks, drilled/slotted rotors, SHP polished wheels front 8 rear 9 and the oven-baked tail lights. The motor is a high performance engine installed FEB-2002 with detailed info including 2.6 motor w/ 40 over hyper eutectic 8:5:1 pistons, total seal TSI rings, new crank, rods w/ arp bolts, new oil pump, chains, gears, no balance shafts, fully balanced, marble head, fully ported w/ out jet valves, roller rockers and arp head studs... This motor only has about 300 miles on it since that time. I t has been started regularly. However, it smokes(white/grey)and has always done that. Not sure if it is the valve keepers or the turbo needing a rebuild or the car needing to be driven more... But there are no sounds and the engine has always started. The windshield has a slight crack towards the top and have pics of that. Told it was iffy on passing. The seats are the car's original ones and they probably need a re-do. The original stereo is not powering on and have not looked into why not. The ventilation system works but not the a/c. Probably just needs a recharge. The rest of the interior is very good. This car has only done a few 100 miles in the east and has never stayed outside. Had some paint work done in 2011.I can assist with shippers and recommend one. I don't recommend driving it because of the age of the tires which are EAGLE GT's, they are old but look in good condition. I don't see any imperfections but it is up to the winning bidder. The History: Up for sale is my Shetland Beige 87 Chrysler Conquest TSi. Book of service records dating back to original sale, not to mention owner's manual and factory service manuals. Most work claimed by previous owner is documented. Originally a North Carolina car, then brought out to California. I've had the car for only about a year, and have barely driven it except to keep the fluids flowing. Ended up having no time to give it the attention it deserves, unfortunately. Now I'm moving and have no place to park it among my other 3 cars. The Good: - Unique, gorgeous, and drives competently (except for Service Opportunities) - Clean title, 110k original miles - Just about everything works - No rust - Hard turbo plumbing and BOV - New Mitsubishi 17C turbo - New primary & secondary injectors - New struts - New clutch (undocumented in service records, though) - New tires - 1989 ECU (it got better each year...89 is the cream of the crop) - Assorted little items...fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, axle shaft, etc. - Some brand new wear item parts will come with the car Service Opportunities: - All 3 cooling fans seem to have quit recently. Very high probability it's either the fan relay or thermosensors (2x at $35 each). MUST remedy that before you drive much stop 'n' go in the sun - 1995 paintjob is sun damaged. Paint chunked off the spoiler. Leather dry and stitching coming loose. - Low RPM cold start idle, fine when warmed up - Heater core failed and needed to be bypassed. Another core comes with the car, but installation will be time-intensive. - A/C undiagnosed. It's gonna need more than a charge. - Rear end clunk when shifting. Torque tube U-joints are a common culprit. - Little things...horn quit working on me, suspension squeaks, tilt steering wheel lock gets loose, etc.
