Rare 1989 Isuzu Trooper RS -- this is the 2-door short wheelbase version that was sold in the US for only one year. I bought this vehicle about six years ago and used it as my daily driver for many years. Last year it began randomly stalling on me and I have not tracked down the problem. I've since bought another vehicle and so need to sell this one. Buyer should understand that some work will be necessary to make this a reliable car once again. When I originally bought it, the previous owner had run it low on oil so the rod bearings were damaged. I replaced the rod bearings (main bearings were fine) and have driven it for tens of thousands of miles since then, but it still makes a very slight knock at certain engine speeds, so the crank should probably be replaced. My intention was to convert it to diesel with a C223T or 4JB1T, which I understand are both drop-in replacements if you have the transmission to go along with them. I never got around to the conversion before it began stalling on me. The body is in fair shape, with some rust (see pics) and minor scrapes and scratches. The frame is in excellent condition with no rust. Tires are Firestone Destination AT and have probably about 80% of tread left. It also has Warn premium locking hubs. It has air conditioning, but the belt had been removed when I purchased it and I never got around to replacing it, so I don't know if the A/C works. Door seals will need replacing. It will need a new battery. Clutch slave cylinder leaks and should be replaced. Windshield is cracked. If you're interested, make me an offer. I've tried to sell this before on eBay and buyers are not following through. Please don't waste my time if you're not serious. $200 non-refundable PayPal deposit is required at time of sale. Balance is due in cash at time of pick up. NO SHIPPING ON THIS VEHICLE -- in its present condition it's not reliable enough to drive it to a shipper, and large car haulers will be unable to navigate the miles of twisty roads that lead to my house. My Camry runs great, I've driven it 15k miles since last year. Unfortunately I am not able to register it with the paperwork I have so I will be selling it strictly as a PARTS CAR. It has a few small door dings, and some minor scuffs on the bumpers but is overall a very nice car. The A/C is really cold, and it gets almost 30mpg on the highway. I would not hesitate to drive this across the country right now, but remember it does not have current registration tags and/or license plates. 2004 Pontiac GTO The GTO was reintroduced in 2004 after a thirty year absence from the Pontiac lineup. They were built by GM Holden Ltd, an Australian subsidiary of General Motors on a Holden Monaro VZ chassis on the limited import of around 15,000 units. Mine has just under 107k miles on it, and is the desired Black/Black with a 6-speed manual! Sometime in its life an RKSports Ram Air hood and aftermarket trunk spoiler were installed. It also has Longtube headers, free flowing dual exhuast and cat converter delete (these 3 items being not legal for on-road use in CA), it is loud...just the way it should be! Fitted with an aftermarket hurst shifter, it is very comfortable to shift, and really moves out if you choose to do so. If you want to smog this car in CA, then the headers will need to be replaced with smog legal ones and catalytic converters will need to be installed... but if you live any other place than smog nazi California then you`ll get to enjoy the way she sounds and the increased performance! I would trust her to drive anywhere in the country. I just put brand new tires on the front (only 100 miles on them), there are no check lights on the dash and it'll get in the low to mid 20's mpg if you keep your foot out of it. Comes with a clean and clear CA title in my name and ready for transfer. Cons/Needs: ~Has a small Oil leak (haven't diagnosed from where) ~Clear coat is starting to fail on roof/trunk and tops of the fenders ~Lots of rock chips & scratches on the frontend (see pic) ~Driver seat stitching coming apart (common on these) ~6 Disc CD player... ehhh, it sucks....barely works ~Front bumper lower grill is included (in the trunk) ~The gas gauge just quit working a week ago ~Needs rear tires... The first generation of the legendary Nissan Terrano ( Pathfinder )! The first generation Pathfinder was originally introduced as a two-door SUV, and shared styling and most components with the Nissan Hardbody Truck. Built on a ladder-type frame, the Pathfinder was Nissan's response to the Chevrolet Blazer, Ford Bronco, Jeep Cherokee, and non-American SUVs like the Toyota 4Runner, Isuzu Trooper, and the Mitsubishi Montero. Before the Pathfinder there was the Nissan Bushmaster (an aftermarket conversion of the Datsun Truck), but they are rare as well. One of the features that was unique at the time was an optional 4WD system that could be engaged electronically while the vehicle was moving, mated to a four-speed automatic transmission. All WD21 Pathfinders were available in both 2WD and manually engaged 4WD configurations, with base models installed with a 2.4 L four cylinder engine. In certain countries this generation also came with a 2.7 L I4 Diesel Engine known as the TD27 with the option of a turbocharger installed later in November 1988. In Japan, it was exclusive to Nissan Bluebird Shop locations, where it was called the Nissan Terrano (in Japanese) as a smaller companion to the larger Nissan Safari. While the Pathfinder/Terrano was essentially based on the newly introduced Hardbody truck, the rear five link coil suspension was borrowed from the Safari to enhance its off-road abilities. The two door version shared a design appearance with the second generation Nissan EXA, and was installed with the VG30E Nissan V6, that was shared with the Fairlady ZX. As the Japanese market Terrano was regarded as a luxury vehicle, with an emphasis on outdoor leisure activities, the Terrano was introduced to Japanese buyers as an off-road, back country Fairlady ZX. To emphasize this marketing approach, the Terrano was available with optional features not normally found on other budget-minded vehicles. Some of the upmarket features offered to Japanese buyers were climate-controlled air conditioning, electrically-powered windows, seats, door locks, as well as other optional features. In 1993, Recaro seats were offered to Japanese buyers. Nissan's sports division Autech offered special equipment packages to Japanese buyers as well, introducing the "Wide R3M Urban" and the "AJ Limited". The emphasis on luxury was partly due to a strong economy in Japan, in what is now regarded as the Japanese "bubble economy". In 1987, the first generation Terrano was entered in the 9th Paris to Dakar rally race, with continued entries in rally races for many years, winning multiple times in its category. The four-door Pathfinder was first introduced in October 1989 to enhance the Pathfinder's market appeal, but the overall vehicle length and wheelbase were not extended to accommodate the rear doors. At its introduction to North America, 1985 to 1989 Pathfinders came with a two door body. In early 1990 it became only a four door. Some US 1990 Pathfinders came with the two door body, but they are rare. When the four door version was introduced, Nissan chose to conceal the door handles as a part of the "C" pillar trim to visually make it appear like a two door truck with a camper shell, with the conventional door handles on the front doors. This design tradition is still used on all Nissan SUVs currently offered, including the Nissan Armada, Nissan Juke, and the Nissan Xterra. The front doors were slightly shortened to accommodate the rear doors. From 1985 to 1989 Pathfinders were available with either the Nissan VG30i 3.0 L V6 (143 hp (107 kW), 162 lb·ft (220 N·m) torque) Rare Find!
