Hello, I have 1991 Maxima (Nissan), It is real rusty and has a bad auto transmission, that is the bad news, but the engine runs awesome, So essentially I am selling it for the engine. It will fit many other Nissans of a similar age. Has aftermarket CD player, runs great and drives, but 2nd and 3rd slip. Everything else works and it has fair tires. You can hear it run at my house and drive it, it drives good too, except for the tranny.. I have full and clear title. Not sure but think the engine has been done much more recently than the miles suggest. We got it for a high schooler to drive, and now she has a better car. The engine alone is probably worth a $1,000+ but, I want it gone. Again it always runs awesome and does not burn oil. Buyer must pick the car up within a week of auction. The buyer is responsible for verifying engine compatibility. The engine is the 3.0 liter V6, featuring a 190 hp (142 kW) VE30DE engine standard on the SE model starting in 1991. The VG30E was an engine that had been used in the previous Maxima, as well as the first generation Nissan 300ZX. I was told these also fit but, you are responsible for compatibility, this is just for reference. The Z's T-roof is one of the best we've ever encountered-tight, leak-free, and easy to remove-but we're still bewildered and bothered by Nissan's decision not to offer the even-more-solid japanese-market fixed-roof coupe in the States. We still have a couple of gripes, though. The first concerns the optional automatic climate control system. Designed to be a set-and-forget unit, this system instead behaves as a set and reset-and-override-and-get-annoyed unit. It offers only two manual fan speeds, and there is no way to channel the airflow where you want it. Although we didn't have a chance to try the standard, manual climate-control system which offers four fan speeds and five options for air routing-it should be far more accommodating. We also have a few complaints about the optional Bose sound system. We don't claim to be audio experts, but we agree as a group that this system-like some other Bose units we've sampled sounds undistinguished. And it has no fade or balance controls whatsoever, obviously implying that Bose knows better than the users of its systems how these parameters should be set. Happily, there is an easy solution to both of our cockpit gripes: skip the optional electronic power package. You'll give up the heated rear-view mirrors and the power controls for the driver's seat, but you'll bypass the automatic climate-control system and the Bose stereo-and save $1600. Enough talk of sound systems and cabin accouterments. You want to know the serious stuff, the power and the glory, the fury and the dust. The power is provided by a version of Nissan's fine 60-degree 3.0-liter V-6, but it's been so thoroughly reworked that you wouldn't recognize it. The new engine sports twin cams, 24 valves, pent roof combustion chambers with centrally located spark plugs, electronic fuel injection, new intake and exhaust manifolds, and a variable intake-valve-timing system for improved performance throughout the rev band. My Camry runs great, I've driven it 15k miles since last year. Unfortunately I am not able to register it with the paperwork I have so I will be selling it strictly as a PARTS CAR. 2004 Pontiac GTO The GTO was reintroduced in 2004 after a thirty year absence from the Pontiac lineup. They were built by GM Holden Ltd, an Australian subsidiary of General Motors on a Holden Monaro VZ chassis on the limited import of around 15,000 units. Mine has just under 107k miles on it, and is the desired Black/Black with a 6-speed manual! Sometime in its life an RKSports Ram Air hood and aftermarket trunk spoiler were installed. It also has Longtube headers, free flowing dual exhuast and cat converter delete (these 3 items being not legal for on-road use in CA), it is loud...just the way it should be! Fitted with an aftermarket hurst shifter, it is very comfortable to shift, and really moves out if you choose to do so. If you want to smog this car in CA, then the headers will need to be replaced with smog legal ones and catalytic converters will need to be installed... but if you live any other place than smog nazi California then you`ll get to enjoy the way she sounds and the increased performance! I would trust her to drive anywhere in the country. I just put brand new tires on the front (only 100 miles on them), there are no check lights on the dash and it'll get in the low to mid 20's mpg if you keep your foot out of it. Comes with a clean and clear CA title in my name and ready for transfer. Cons/Needs: ~Has a small Oil leak (haven't diagnosed from where) ~Clear coat is starting to fail on roof/trunk and tops of the fenders ~Lots of rock chips & scratches on the frontend (see pic) ~Driver seat stitching coming apart (common on these) ~6 Disc CD player... ehhh, it sucks....barely works ~Front bumper lower grill is included (in the trunk) ~The gas gauge just quit working a week ago ~Needs rear tires...
