No major damage. I am not the original owner and I don't know full history only the follow I bought it from took well care of and I have too. I had it thoroughly gone over: new breaks, MC, turn-up with new plugs, battery, hoses. and belts. The only significant rust the battery cage. Diesel Conversion with 1.9TD VW 1997 Passat Engine done professionally 4 years ago. Convertible, hard top, 2"suspension lift. Great tires. Plenty of torque. Tight engine and recently rebuilt diesel pump. Transmission is whining and will need rebuilding probably soon. Kids no longer fit in it and need to get a bigger car. Includes Thole ski rack and towing bar & connection set up. Its a fun little 4x4! ***The listing says fuel type - Gasoline, but the jeep is DIESEL***

I bought this vehicle to help a young kid out and don't have time to mess with it. The problem is the wiring is messed up. It does crank over but will not fire. I did not look into to far as I don't have time. I did see that the rear floorboard is cut away to get to the fuel pump and saw that the wiring is disconnected from the pump. He said it ran decent a few months ago and the four wheel drive worked good. If you are looking for a great vehicle this is not it. I will try to answer any questions I can AT 812 205 6012.. It is a manual with 1.6 fuel injected The tires and rims are probably worth half my buy it now price
