This is solid inside and out. Runs and drives great. Like any car this age, there are a few minor issues. First, the driver's side window has not rolled down in a few months. I suspect a bad switch is to blame. Second, I noticed the a/c was not as cold this past summer. The compressor turns on, but it does not cycle cool as it once did. This will need repair. The check engine light comes on from time-to-time, but I have not noticed this lately. The fuel gauge is inaccurate sometimes I drive this car on the weekends to keep it running smooth and that is when I have noticed these imperfections. The odometer reads 67,870. I am not sure if this is the actually mileage. To my knowledge, I am the 2nd owner of the car and have never had any problems other than minor repairs/maintenance. The car is located in Louisiana. 1990 Ford Mustang 5.0 GT 5 Speed in Oxford White. I have owned this vehicle for 2 years. I had the motor rebuilt this past winter. The car still has the factory Crank,Rods and Pistons. Everything is std size, the motor has never been bored. Miles on the Odometer are 33,000. I have driven the car around 3,000 miles since the rebuild. The hood on this is fiberglass and a local body shop painted it and the paint cracked off. so the hood will need to be resprayed. My loss is your gain. I love this car but college is calling so she has to go. From what I could tell I am the 3rd owner and I have had her for 2 1/2 years now. The second owner installed a new convertible top, new cobra style wheels and tires, short throw shifter, suspension and cold air intake tube. He has his own tire and suspension shop, no sag in this car at all. Since I have owned it I have installed new quarter window motors, alternator, battery, water pump, thermostat, cat back flow master exhaust, added a armrest and MSD Pro Billet Distributer which really woke the motor up. She doesn't blow any smoke and is fast. Might have 3.55 gears in the rear but unsure. The true mileage is unknown, according to the last owner he believes there was a cluster replacement done prior to his purchasing it. He had it on dealer plates so never had it registered until I purchased it. I had no idea about the mileage until the title came back to me. This car has been used in the NYC Veterans Day Parade on VIP duty in 2014. If it sells for the buy it now price I have the original turbine wheels and a used Edlebrock Performer upper and lower intake that will be included in the sale. All new suspension. Ford motorsports front control arms, Motorsports B coil springs & Koni front struts & rear shocks, even new quad shocks. Car did not need all of this, but being as pickie as i am is the reason for the total suspension. The car shows the 70K but speedo was running 1.4 miles faster because of wrong speedo gear in tranny. rear gears are 3.73 ford gears. The wheels are the 5 star pony wheels with all new tire's. The clutch is a ram with a steeda double hook quaduant & firewall adjuster. Up for auction is my beautiful 1990 SSP mustang. Not only is it difficult to get a notchback in this condition, but it's especially difficult to get a documented SSP in this condition. SSPs are rare and very sought after nowadays. They are being snatched up because notchbacks in general are on the upswing as far as price, so a notchback SSP is even more desirable(almost every ssp is a notchback). SSP mustangs have features that were only available for SSPs, like reinforced floor pans, full sized spare tire, high output alternator just to name a few. Anyone who knows about fox bodies knows what an ssp is. This car is almost completely original aside from the brand new FULL mac exhaust-headers, pro chamber mid-pipe, and Mac cat back. It sounds awesome. . This car has no issues except for the heater core which has been bypassed. . I will include a brand new motorcraft heater core. Engine runs like a top. Tires are almost brand new good year Eagles, not cheap no name tires. Frame and body are laser straight. This car was repainted by previous owner, and they did a great job. Transmission shifts as it should and the engine runs smooth and strong. Glass is all original as is the interior. Everything is fully functional. The wheels have been powder coated black and are perfect. AC blows cold!! Rear end gears were redone and are 3.08 gears. Zero noise or leaks from the differential super smooth operation. It was done right and I have a receipt for that as well from the previous owner. HEADLINER IS PERFECT. ALL LIGHTS AND GUAGES ARE FUNCTIONAL AND ARENT EVEN DIM. NO DENTS OR DEEP SCRATCHES. CLOCK ON RADIO IS VISABLE AND THE ASHTRAY LIGHT EVEN WORKS. BODY PANELS AND GAPS ARE PERFECT. ENGINE RUNS FLAWLESSY. NO RATTLES. IVE HAD MANY MUSTANGS AND IM FAMILIAR WITH FOX BODY MUSTANGS. THIS ONE FOR WHATEVER REASON FEELS BIGGER AND MORE SOLID THEN OTHERS IVE DRIVEN. YOU WONT BE AFRAID TO HIT A BUMP IN THE ROAD IN IT.
