Up for sale is my 1990 Ford Mustang LX Convertible. The car has 150,xxx miles on it now. It does get driven from time to time so the miles are subject to change but, not drastically. The color of the Car is Vermilion Red and in 1990 there were only 1,330 made. The paint is in good condition. Has some minor flaws including: Very minor rust spots on the passenger side rear quarter panel, some areas have surface scuffs that could be gotten out with a buffer, and there is a small amount of yellow road line paint on the driver's side door. The convertible top has seen some better days. Has a small tear on the passenger side and has some dirt that I just haven't had a chance to remove. The car was purchased in California in 1992. It was brought to PA and sat in the garage for the past 6 Years. Upon removing the car from the garage to get it back on the road in April, the following work was done: 4 Tires were replaced, the Power Steering rack and pinion assembly was replaced along with outer tie rod ends, shocks, and struts. The transmission fluid and filter was changed, and a performance valve body was installed (the car does shift hard because of the performance valve body that was installed, and the TV cable has been adjusted to meet the specifications of the new valve body.) In addition to the adjustment of the TV Cable, the plastic clip holding the TV cable in place is brittle and will need replaced ( I have the clip for it) . The trim for the convertible top was replaced on the passenger side, a full tune up including: Spark plugs, wires, distributor cap, rotor and fuel filter were done less than 75 miles ago and the fuel tank was removed and cleaned out after having sat for years. Has an SVE Cold Air Induction system on it, and Summit Racing Off-Road H-Pipe and summit racing cat back system as well. The car just needs some TLC. It runs and drives quite well, I just do not have the time for this car any more. I'd hate to see it sit in the garage and collect dust when someone could put it to good use. This car does need a heater core. It has been bypassed for the time being and I do have the part, just not the time to remove the whole dashboard and replace it. The car was purchased from a family friend this year and is registered in Pennsylvania as an antique. This car will not be shipped, it will be a local pick-up. Payment will be expected at the time of the sale. Also, car does come with an extra trunk lid and spoiler(unpainted), set of 3.73 gears, Ford ring and pinion install kit. The car needs is a definite good cleaning. It sat in the garage for years so it is dusty and dirty. The car has no heat or air but could easily be put back. It was removed to make the car lighter. The interior is in good condition with all factory except the cd player. The engine has been completely done with a crane cam, crane roller rockers, cobra 3 bar heads, adjustable fuel pressure, msd 6a digital Just put in a new 130 amp. alternator, new alum. radiator, K&N air fitler. All new suspension. Ford motorsports front control arms, Motorsports B coil springs & Koni front struts & rear shocks, even new quad shocks. Car did not need all of this, but being as pickie as i am is the reason for the total suspension. The car shows the 70K but speedo was running 1.4 miles faster because of wrong speedo gear in tranny. rear gears are 3.73 ford gears. The wheels are the 5 star pony wheels with all new tire's. The clutch is a ram with a steeda double hook quaduant & firewall adjuster. 1990 mustang notchback . it is a rust free north Carolina car . bought it about 5 years back .at the time the 4 cylinder cluster read 109,000. it was a 4cylinder auto car that I converted over to a v8 and a 5speed for my son . he wants a kia sole now. I bought a 1991 mustang notch that was wrecked and put all the parts into this car ,that car had just over 100,000 miles, I put the engine /transmission/rear/ all suspension/wire harness/ brake lines / fuel lines / exhaust flow masters/instrument cluster/and most of the interior into this car, . car runs and drives great . ac works but the cruise control does not and the air bag light is blinking, I used it for work the last 3 years and put about 25,000 miles on it without any problems so as an estimate the body has about 135,000. there is a slight grind when putting it into first quickly but I just put it in slowly and it goes right in . as far as the body like I said it is rust free including floor boards, it does have some scratches, paint chips , and a couple very small dents but is pretty straight and clean . someone tapped the right front fender about a year ago and it may be able to be fixed. the car was originally red and my son wanted black so I sent it to macco. the paint is thin and wearing alittle on the bottom of the car and by the rear wheel well but the car still shines and looks great . the windshield is new as is the front and rear brakes drums and rotors. the interior is in good condition , its the gt type and is black except the rear seat back, that is red ,I haven't been able to locate a black one and the upholstery kits are complete kits the console is broken by the ash tray like all of them and it has the storage box delete panel. What your getting here is a great 25 year old classic that you can build as you want . because it was a 4 cylinder automatic car the body and unibody are in stress free condition. I have seen many fox body cars that are falling apart structurely this one is not. this car is not mint but a very good looking driver .it always gets looks and thumbs up . please ask questions im sure I missed something. good luck

Up for auction is my beautiful 1990 SSP mustang. Not only is it difficult to get a notchback in this condition, but it's especially difficult to get a documented SSP in this condition. SSPs are rare and very sought after nowadays. They are being snatched up because notchbacks in general are on the upswing as far as price, so a notchback SSP is even more desirable(almost every ssp is a notchback). SSP mustangs have features that were only available for SSPs, like reinforced floor pans, full sized spare tire, high output alternator just to name a few. Anyone who knows about fox bodies knows what an ssp is. This car is almost completely original aside from the brand new FULL mac exhaust-headers, pro chamber mid-pipe, and Mac cat back. It sounds awesome. . This car has no issues except for the heater core which has been bypassed. . I will include a brand new motorcraft heater core. Engine runs like a top. Tires are almost brand new good year Eagles, not cheap no name tires. Frame and body are laser straight. This car was repainted by previous owner, and they did a great job. Transmission shifts as it should and the engine runs smooth and strong. Glass is all original as is the interior. Everything is fully functional. The wheels have been powder coated black and are perfect. AC blows cold!! Rear end gears were redone and are 3.08 gears. Zero noise or leaks from the differential super smooth operation. It was done right and I have a receipt for that as well from the previous owner. HEADLINER IS PERFECT. ALL LIGHTS AND GUAGES ARE FUNCTIONAL AND ARENT EVEN DIM. NO DENTS OR DEEP SCRATCHES. CLOCK ON RADIO IS VISABLE AND THE ASHTRAY LIGHT EVEN WORKS. BODY PANELS AND GAPS ARE PERFECT. ENGINE RUNS FLAWLESSY. NO RATTLES. IVE HAD MANY MUSTANGS AND IM FAMILIAR WITH FOX BODY MUSTANGS. THIS ONE FOR WHATEVER REASON FEELS BIGGER AND MORE SOLID THEN OTHERS IVE DRIVEN. YOU WONT BE AFRAID TO HIT A BUMP IN THE ROAD IN IT.
