For sale is a 1990 Honda CRX. Car was purchased from California 4 years ago. Work that has been performed on the car includes a new timing belt at 100000 miles, new alternator, new tires, new front axles, new ac compressor (AC is ice cold), new rear wheel bearings, alternator, muffler, and new battery. Oil changes have been performed religiously every 3000 miles. No oil leaks also no blue smoke as the car has passed Indiana emissions with flying colors. Car has no rust and has been garage kept in California and also by myself in NW Indiana. This car is my daily runner. Car gets roughly 34 mpg without the air on, and 31 with it on. Hate to get rid of but a child seat will only fit on the roof.

This is a 1991 Honda CRX Si with 215873 miles. I bought this car from the original owner after it had been sitting 11 years and I have not put very many miles on it since. The motor has been professionally rebuilt with new piston rings, bearings, and seals from top to bottom. It also has a brand new timing belt and water pump and a new clutch, pressure plate, and throw out bearing. The engine and transmission are the original to the car. The interior is in very good condition, there are no rips or tears in the seats, dash, or door panels. There is some wear on the rear storage bin area but the cargo cover is intact. The exterior does have some dents and dings and the red paint has seen better days. The front bumper is original but has been repainted recently and the rear bumper has some scratches. There is a larger dent on the driver side door, a smaller one on the passenger door, and some decent scratches on the hood and passenger fender. You can also see a small amount of surface rust around the gas door and the driver side rear fender. I have done my best to show all the damage in the pictures. There is no stereo in the car and it was never equipped with A/C but the heat does work. PLEASE LOOK OVER THE PICTURES CAREFULLY BEFORE BIDDING! I HAVE DONE MY BEST TO DESCRIBE DAMAGE! This car is not perfect but it is 99.9% complete and mechanically sound. This would be a great daily driver or restoration project since there wouldn't be much to do other than paint. I will do my absolute best to describe the condition of my 1990 Honda CRX HF model that I recently wrecked. Hopefully the photos posted will do an accurate job of showing the damage to the car. A little history on this CRX. I purchased this car from the original owner in the fall of 2010. The car had around 135,000 miles at the time of purchase and I (until August 12) have driven the car as a daily commuter to work. I had put around 37,000 miles on the car up until the wreck. The car was absolutely the cheapest form of transportation one could imagine. MPG in town was around 42 to 45 and highway around 50 and as high as 52. The car never used a drop of oil and has been almost free of having anything done to it except regular oil changes. I did put a new muffler on it and put in an aftermarket radio/ CD player and new speakers. Just four days prior to the wreck I put a new "main relay" switch in. I also had just put a brand new set of General Altimx tires on. I would guess they have less than 300 miles on them. I will try to describe the obvious damage to the car and let the photos help with that. Any questions on things that I can for certain tell you I will do my best to answer. Engine will start and run but was moved back slightly from the impact, there is no oil leaks. The right A frame is pushed back.. My mechanic feels the engine is good. The transmission was put in a bind with the engine being pushed back. We have been able to get the car in neutral. No way to tell for sure but he thinks the transmission is good as well. Radiator is destroyed, AC condenser is bent, cooling fans are jammed back. The front of the car and the underside is where the damage is. Please inspect the photos and ask any questions you may have. The inside of the car is in great condition and has no damage from the accident. Included is the rare CRX logo oem floor mats that are almost impossible to fine now. The CRX logo is intact on both mats and the mats condition is very good. The seats are in great shape and as you know finding oem seats for the CRX in this condition is very difficult. All the glass is in great condition. Carpet is also in good shape. Most damage to the front fenders was done by the tow company and is very minor. Please check out the photos closely. I will say this, prior to my accident I had many offers for my car one for $5,000. I think there is still a lot of value in this car even with the damage to the front end and underside.
