(And those of you that follow our premium low mile inventory know there is no small amount of competition regarding that claim). Our Grand here enjoyed just one original owner until the near end of 2014, that is right up against 25 years of single ownership. Most importantly, the original owner rolled the Jeep, on average, for just 1,000 miles per year. Only 25,998 Actual Original Miles are on this museum piece. Mileage is confirmed by both Carfax, along with no accidents reported, and PA State inspection records covering many years of the prior decade. This '90 was purchased right down the road from where I was born and raised and I knew the Jeep selling dealership well. The original selling dealer's document folder was preserved with the original manuals, pamphlets warranty folders & even the sale's reps business cards. The exterior paint and wood has just undergone a world class restoration with approximately $10,000 being invested on those two items. The just applied paint is the rare Black Cherry Pearl Coat and is hands down spectacular. The roof itself, thanks to carriage house sheltered care, was already in excellent shape and therefore left in its original beautiful form. The wood siding and wood trim were both sourced from Team Grand Wagoneer and professionally reapplied over bare metal. (We do not put the new wood sides over top the old). The balance of chrome and bright work remaining in near excellent original condition and the original factory wheels display only normal and expected wear. The burgundy interior appears to be all original and is in as close to new as you will find, w/o being new. Only the faintest of comfort wrinkles appear on the front leather seats. The rear seats and cargo area present as almost unused for 25 years. Truly remarkable. The luxury options including air conditioning & heat, power windows, power seats, power door locks, power mirrors, AM/FM/Cassette all the way down to the cruise control are operating correctly. The engine, transmission and 4 wheel drive Hi (Highway setting) are likewise running in top form. I'm selling my beautiful 1990 Jeep Grand Wagoneer. I'm the third owner and the first two were family members. This was a Florida vehicle for many years and was brought up to CT in 2013.I purchased it and did some significant cosmetic/mechanical maintenance items including: New spark plugs, spark plug wire set, belts, all new brakes (pads, rotors, hoses), front/rear shocks, fuel pump & filter, thermostat, transmission flush, power steering flush, cooling system & engine block flush, water pump, new hood cable, new ignition module, new radiator & radiator hoses, fuel filler hoses, front sway bar links/bushings, new skid plate, new windshield, refinished 4 OEM rims, new whitewall tires, touch up paint in areas, four new JVC speakers and Kenwood head-unit with USB connectivity, new antenna, hood insulator, new battery & 90amp alternator.She runs and drives beautifully and has taken many road trips to Nantucket and back. Please keep in mind she is 25 years old and comes with a few quirks that most of these Jeeps have. The cruise control does not work, The fuel gauge bounces around (although the fuel empty light works), power locks work but some times the lock sticks, some minor cracks in the leather (no tears), there are a few blemishes on the interior/exterior but are very minor and am happy to point them out. Overall she is a beauty and gets compliments/thumbs up everywhere she goes. If you're looking for a true classic that provides many rewards and fun, but understand the need for patience and dedication it takes in owning a Wagoneer....this is for you! 1990 Jeep Grand Wagoneer. This jeep came from Hawaii. There is an inspection sticker on the rear bumper from 2005. This jeep has very little rust. the only rust is a small amount at the base of the windshield and the front splash shields need replacing. The front fenders have no rust. The rest of the body is very clean and strait. The under side of this jeep is so clean it still has the original paint on the frame, inner rockers and inner quarter panels. The bumpers are strait and the chrome looks good. The grill has no cranks and is in nice shape. the roof rack and all the strips look nice. The front seat's need recovering the rear looks grate. The headliner looks like it's ben replaced and the dash is a little curled at the vents but not cracked. The paint looks good but hood is a little faded. This jeep has a bad motor. I pulled the motor out to get it rebuilt. I never tore it down to see what was wrong with it but it did run when I got it and it had a miss and a knock. The motor can go with the jeep but it will have to be loaded on it's own. This jeep has new tires on it. I planed on fixing this jeep but I just purchased a GPW so I'm selling this project to help finance my WW2 jeep build. These Wagoneers are hard to fiend in this condition. With just 36,067 original miles, this handsome black wagon is both supremely capable and totally traditional in the most American way possible: wood paneling. Except for maybe a few PT Cruisers, the Grand Wagoneer was probably the last US-made vehicle to feature wood paneling on its flanks. It looks right, giving the upscale Jeep a country club demeanor and a traditional look that goes all the way back to the earliest woodies. Sure, it's pure style, but what isn't these days? And with so few miles, this Grand Wagoneer is in fantastic condition with glossy black paint that's one of the most popular colors today. The woodgrained decals are in excellent condition with no peeling or fading and aside from some of those inevitable polishing marks in the black paint, it looks far younger than 25 years old. The shape dates to the 1960s, but with chrome bumpers, a hood ornament, a big grille, and stainless window surrounds, the biggest Jeep was able to move upscale and realistically be mentioned in the same breath as the Range Rover. It doesn't appear to have ever been wrecked or rusty and the doors close with a remarkably precise feel, a rare feat for anything built by AMC. The rugged exterior contrasts neatly with the handsome burgundy cloth and leather interior, which is as plush as a contemporary Cadillac and loaded with luxury features. There's plenty of room in the spacious cabin, so road trips are a genuine pleasure, and with such niceties as power windows, locks, and seats, cruise control, a tilt wheel, and A/C (which could use a recharge), it won't ever feel like you're "roughing it" in this Grand Wagoneer. The seats are in excellent condition with only slight comfort marks on the leather portions of the outer bolsters and the back seat looks almost completely untouched. Plush carpets are a bit faded, which is inevitable with anything red, but they're in good condition and help keep the inside of the Grand Wagoneer quiet and comfortable. An AM/FM/cassette stereo system dates the truck but works rather well and you get a full dash full of analog instruments that are easy to read. The rear compartment is positively huge and beautifully tailored with stainless rub strips to protect the carpet. AMC's biggest V8, a 360 cubic incher topped with a 2-barrel carburetor, was standard equipment. Its specifications may seem modest, but it's incredibly torquey and doesn't mind crawling around in the dirt. It has a hushed exhaust note befitting its upscale luxury mission and it has proven its durability inside Jeeps for decades. It's nicely maintained and runs well, and a tune-up would probably make it so smooth you couldn't feel it running. It's definitely clean under the hood and under the body, showing no signs of winter weather or harsh off-road conditions, and thanks to a recent exhaust system, it sounds just right. Jeep's sophisticated all-wheel-drive system was way ahead of most of the competition in 1990, with a 3-speed automatic transmission and a set of 2.72 gears, so it's a great highway cruiser. Handsome alloy wheels are a familiar look and they're wrapped in 235/75/15 whitewall radials for just the right upscale look. You'll note that prices on good Grand Wagoneers are skyrocketing. There's a finite supply of good, low-mileage units like this, and we'll wager that this one won't last long at all. Up for sale is a 1990 Jeep Grand Wagoneer, the original luxury SUV, ready to go with a clean title. Vehicle runs and drive great. The motor and carb are stock accept for the TFI upgrade I did (with that comes plugs and wires). The motor was also rebuilt before I bought the Jeep. The carb runs rich and will need to be tuned for optimum performance. I have replaced the transfer case with a NP242, but have not installed the linkage in order to shift the case. The vehicle now is in 2WD and the linkage will go with it along with several other parts. I have replaced the starter as well and the battery is less than a year old so it is still under warrantee. The interior needs work, but its nothing a good seat cover cant fix. The front windows work great, the rear door windows don't go down (I think its the tracks), but the tailgate window still works from the outside, interior switch doesn't work anymore. The power seats still work along with the door locks. Roof was coated in elastomeric paint to reflect heat and the inside is lined with insulation, ready for a new headliner. I started a Rhino/Gladiator conversion, but never finished. This is an AZ truck and has no rust and the AC still works and is charged with R12 (will send an additional can with the truck). I am the third owner of this truck and she has served me faithfully, but I am moving out of state and cannot take her with me. 1990 Jeep Grand Wagoneer 4X4, unmolested vehicle with approximately 95,000 original miles. I'm the third owner. Vehicle run good, looks great and gets lots of compliments at the beach. Since this car is in South Florida the 4X4 is never used. Garage kept, driven on weekends and nice days only. Very minimal rust if any. Powerful engine, that runs well, I drive it occasionally to work round trip for 100 miles with no issues at all. All gauges work, all lights work, a/c is cool, not cold. Radio works fine, power seat and power locks work fine. Power windows all work but all are sluggish, rear window occasionally falls of track but works fine. Front seats are worn and need to be redone, rear seats in great shape. Undercarriage of vehicle does not show any rust. Tires are practically new. Jeep has and after market steering wheel and shifter knob that came with the car when I bought it. The second owner and I have never used the Jeep to tow anything. Will include repair manuals.
