I am selling my mint and beautiful Portofino Red Range Rover Classic.  I am the third owner of this truck and in the five years I have owned it I have performed the following work/upgrades: - 1.5" Super Gaz lift and spring kit - new headliner - larger tires/black Land Rover rims - new brakes - new exhaust - new ECU - yellow Hella fog lights/Hella driving lights - new belts - added Alpine bluetooth compatible stereo - I have had the above and other regular maintenance all performed by a certified Land Rover mechanic. In the 5 years I have owned this truck it has only stranded me once.  It is a super reliable daily driver and barely/hardly even leaks any fluid.  This truck is the perfect combination of classic styling and modern convenience.  There is not a nice Classic out there - this truck is ready to roll or ready for new paint to make it practically factory fresh. Drive something really cool, sure to hold its value .. The truck looks and runs great. The paint shows some dings and its a shade off of original but yet very nice and hardy noticeable . There are some small dings here and there but very minor. ! it's very rust free.. Have pics of doors, floors etc... But I am only allowed 24 email me for more The seats have the typical leather wear. Although, no rips or tears. I would say that the seat are way above average compared to the other Range Rover Classics I have seen. The carpet is real nice It's a great running driving truck, Ac was recently serviced as was the entire truck, the headliner is being freshly put in this week, the interior is real nice, all interior trim is there except the cargo cover, the spare is a used tire, but yet good tire. The previous owner selected a very low miles, clean, solid truck to use as the base of his Camel Trophy replica. It has a 3.9L V8 engine and a manual transmission. The truck has 117,300 original kilometers or 72,885 miles on it. It has a 2.5L VM turbo diesel engine - it gets great gas mileage, has plenty of pick up for around town, and can easily cruise at and above highway speeds. In the last year it received new paint in factory color, brake master cylinder, tail light lenses, and A/C has been converted to R134A. RRC has been in a hot dry climate all its life, between south Spain and North Africa body is in great shape but does have a few nicks,dings and scratches here and there.This is a 25 year old car Paint is shiny, shows older respray. Has 99000miles or 160k kilometers(speedo is in kilometers. bought from 2nd owner who had 15 years . Drove it in Spain about 100 miles and when it arrived, drove it 75 miles home from the port. Appears mostly original except radio and an extra temperature gauge. dual battery, anti-sway bars all factory. If you want to do everything a defender does but in comfort, This is the car. Tires are mounted on 5 spokes painted smoke gray wheels. The car is all original with original paint and absolutely no rust anywhere on the car. Our mechanics performed full service on this truck, they changed the oil as well as replaced the headliner. This truck comes with many service records as you can see in Carfax report. The Great Divide Edition was named after the August 1989 Great Divide Expedition, a 13 day, 1,123-mile trip along the Continental Divide sponsored by RRNA for the press. A limited edition of 400 were made according to press releases and only 400 have the numbered plaques in the door jambs. A total of 409 GDE models were built (the NAS parts manual lists all the VIN #s). The extra 9 GDEs were used for promotional purposes by RRNA. One of the 9 was loaned to the Death Valley Park Rangers for patrol duties and had the optional factory winch hidden under the front bumper, ranger decals, and a red and blue highway patrol style light bar on the roof. All were built in 1990 to 1990 (LA) model specs, and were Great Divide Editionsold in the summer of 1990 as 1991 models with 1991 (MA) VINs. All were painted Alpine white with Sorrell (light) brown leather interiors. They had a large round Great Divide sticker on the tailgate and a numbered brass plaque in the drivers door jamb. They all had rear lamp guards and a special black painted aluminum front bumper with integrated brush bar (some had dealer installed winches). They did not have the plastic front air dam with fog lights, but had the small plastic air deflector from the European Base and Turbo Diesel models. They were the first US Range Rovers with the 5 spoke wheels (painted smoke gray) that were originally designed as an option for the Discovery in Europe. Inside they were the only U.S. Range Rovers to have pebble dot perforated leather upholstery. They also had a sunroof, auto dim rear view mirror, and American walnut on the doors, dash and center console. The front page of the GDE owners manual had a sticker that says NOTE: This limited Production Range Rover has a special equipment package giving it unique character and appeal. Not all of the equipment described in the Owner's Manual is installed on the Great Divide Edition Vehicle. Specifically the references to the front spoiler, engine undertray, and fog lamps do not apply to this vehicle. The fog lamp switch and wiring is installed on the vehicle. Vehicle Transportation: Buyer is responsible for shipping and/or pickup of the vehicle. All shipping charges are the buyer’s responsibility. We will not be responsible in any way for claims arising from shipping damage. Shipping companies have insurance policies that protect buyers against damage. If you choose to pickup the vehicle yourself, you would have to take care of your own temporary plates. We do not provide any, nor do we help you in obtaining them. Payment Information: If you are the winning bidder/buyer, you must contact us within 24 hours of winning the auction or getting invoice to set up payment arrangements. We do add 149 dollar fee to every car we sell. We require a 500 dollars non-refundable deposit within twenty-four (24) hours. This deposit can be made through PayPal to fellyNY at gmail.com (Paypal deposit is used to place a hold on the car, it will be refunded back to PayPal, ones the car is Paid in full. Usually this is done with in 1-2 days after the car is paid in full). In the alternative, you can make your deposit Cash in person or Bank wire transfer. If the deposit is not received within the required time frame and alternative arrangements were not made, we reserve the right to make the vehicle available for sale to another buyer. The remaining balance is due within 5 calendar days of making the deposit. You must fax or email us your State issued driver’s license after you make the deposit. We reserve the right to keep your deposit and resell the vehicle to another buyer if final payment is not received within 5 calendar days. As final payment for the vehicle, we will accept a certified bank check, bank loan check, wire transfer, or cash. We will not release the vehicle and/or title until funds clear. If you pay cash, you can pickup the vehicle immediately. If you pay by wire transfer the vehicle will be available for pickup once funds are available in our account. If you pay by bank check, you will have to wait nine (9) business days until the funds clear. 8. Title Information: Vehicle titles may be held by banks or lenders as collateral for loans. In some cases there is a delay in receiving the original paper Title after the vehicle is paid off. While we usually have all titles in our possession at the time of sale, there are occasions where we may have to wait for them to arrive. It may take anywhere from 3 to 7 business days for us to receive the title. 9. Bidder’s Age: You must be 18 years of age or older to bid/purchase. 11. Storage Terms: Once the auction/sale completed, we will store the vehicle free of charge for six (6) calendar days and at 20 dollars per day after that. Ones the payment has been made, the vehicle will be stored free of charge for ten (10) calendar days and at 20 dollars per day after that. 10. Liquidated Damages: In the event that the winning bidder refuses to honor his/her obligation to purchase the vehicle, we shall be entitled to liquidated damages from that bidder as follows: a. $5,000 in liquidated damages on a vehicle sold for $15,000 or less. b. $7,000 in liquidated damages on a vehicle sold for $15,001 - $40,000. c. $10,000 in liquidated damages on a vehicle sold for $40,001 or greater. 11. Choice of Law & Forum: Buyer agrees that in the event any dispute shall arise, it will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York and litigated in Richmond County. By bidding on this auction/sale buyer consents to service by certified mail. 12. Miscellaneous: We reserve the right to obtain and verify the registered information of all users who bid on this auction/sale. In order to protect the integrity of this auction/deal, buyers with zero or negative feedback must contact us prior to bidding.
