1941 LINCOLN CONTINENTAL COUPE (MARK I). Built on April 23rd and shipped to Chicago on April 25th. 1941. Body Number 684. My Uncle purchased the Car in 1950 from the Original Owner named Nelson (that's all I know about Him). Sometime in the 1950's, my Uncle removed the V12 Engine & 3 Speed Transmission (like a lot of owners did at that time) and Installed a 1953 Oldsmobile Rocket 303 CID V8 Engine with a Hydramatic Transmission. He drove it for years up until the early 1970's when I acquired the Car from Him. I drove it that way until the early 1990's when I replaced the Drive Train with a 1969 Lincoln Continental 460 CID 365 HP V8 Engine and a C6 Cruise-O-Matic Transmission. I used the Rear End out of a 1960 Thunderbird that had had the Optional Lincoln 430 Engine & Transmission. I also Installed Front Disk Brakes (had to go with modern 15" Rims to make that work), with a Power Brake Booster and Power Steering. I also converted the Car over to a 12 Volt System. Otherwise, I have tried to keep the Car as Original Looking as possible. Half of the Interior is still original: the Header, the Sun Visors, part of the Door Panels, part of the Front Seats. Most of the Trunk Lining is original too! I had the Original Radio repaired some years ago and it works! The Original Clock works too but I currently have a 12 Volt Clock out of a 1966 MUSTANG installed. Car was in storage for the last 10 Years. Recently took it out of storage and drove it around before putting it back into storage at another location. Drove great but needs some minor things looked at after being in storage for awhile. Wife and I planning to do some traveling. Will let Fate decide if Car goes to a new Home or stays Home with me. Rare Car, only 300+ Coupes still known to exist out of 850 Built for 1941.

1990 Lincoln Continental Signature . . . Great Condition. Take a look at pictures and email with questions. Car has a new battery, new alternator (Dura Last Gold), Alternator A/C Belt, Ignition System (Cap Rotor Module), spark plug wires, newer Michelin Tires (less than 5K miles on tires), AC charged. Would make a great historical car. ALWAYS garaged and hasn't been driven in several years. There is an electrical "draining" problem that I've been unable to fix. I'm told it's a drain from the GEM module/airbag module.Listing at $4,500 and welcome offers!

HERE IS A VERY RARE AUTOMOBILE AND COULD BE ONLY ABOUT 10 TO EXIST==1942 CARS ARE RARE WITH THE WAR==THEY ONLY BUILT THESE CARS TILL FEBRUARY AND STOPPED PRODUCTION UNTIL AFTER THE WAR==ALL ORIGINAL WITH A V12 ENGINE==THIS IS A MUST SEE CAR!!! with only 136 Cabriolets produced in 1942, this was the lowest production of Continentals of the early 1940s era. It is estimated that as few as 10 or 12 survive today. Weighing in at 4,065 pounds, the 1942 Lincoln was redesigned to be a larger, longer, wider car than its 1940-41 predecessors. The front end was much more massive, with more chrome and redesigned headlights. Ford Motor acquired Lincoln in 1922 and Edsel Ford, Henry's son, used his natural design instincts to lead Lincoln to build beautiful, luxurious cars. With Ford's backing during the lingering depression, Lincoln was able to continue its focus on the luxury market. The 1942 Lincoln Continental was in production for only a few months due to the outbreak of World War Two, which resulted in a shutdown of the U.S. auto industry. The 1942 Continental's front end design was a major design departure from the 1940-41 models. This 1942 Lincoln Continental has a V-12 engine and transmission with overdrive have just recently been completely rebuilt It has been driven less than 200 miles since the rebuild in 2014. The car was restored in 1990 by Hibernia Auto Restorations in New Jersey. Around 2008 the restoration was freshened up by Phoenix Rod & Custom in New Jersey. The chrome has been re-plated. The lower stainless steel trim is concourse quality. Brand new Firestone wide white wall tires with less than 100 miles on them. This fine automobile draws attention wherever it goes and is the perfect color combination. The undercarriage of the car is in excellent condition with no rust whatsoever. Interior and carpeting is perfect. Trunk carpeting looks new. All the gauges work except for the clock. This car was ahead of its time with the V-12 engine, push button doors & rear cobra brake light. The 2nd owner this car in his collection since 1965. The radio does not operate, however, it comes with a freshly rebuilt radio in a box. Once in a lifetime opportunity to own a super rare and collectible classic car to add to your collection. Turns heads and attracts crowds everywhere it goes. This rare and beautiful automobile will appreciate in value as there are only a few left known in existence. Black · 12 Cylinder The 1942 Lincoln Continental manufactured by the Ford Motor Company was in production for only a few months due to the outbreak of World War Two, which resulted in a shutdown of the U.S. auto industry. The Continental was the brainchild of Edsel Ford and the design was executed by Ford's chief stylist, Bob Gregorie. The Continental was introduced in 1940 as an exclusive, luxurious, hand-crafted automobile for the status conscious consumer. With only 136 Cabriolets produced in 1942, this was the lowest production of Continentals of the 1940's era. It is estimated that there are ONLY twenty 1942 Lincoln Continental Cabriolet's survive today making it one of the rarest Lincoln Continentals in the world. Truly a very rare and desirable car. This very rare and desirable 1942 Lincoln Continental has a V-12 engine and transmission with overdrive that has been completely rebuilt at a cost of $20,000 Will help arrange shipping if needed. Buyer responsible for shipping costs.

We are proud to offer for sale a rare 1966 Lincoln 4 Door Convertible VIN # 6Y86G414059, one of a limited production run of 3180 produced in 1966. We acquired this car on September of 2013 from a lawyer in Buffalo NY. His family owned this car since the early 1990’s, and because of a divorce between his parents the car sat untouched in his mother’s garage since then. When we received the car it was in clean rust free condition and had been repainted to a burgundy color. Originally the cars exterior color is Teakwood (Color code H) and interior is pinkish (we have all the original upholstery; it was in great condition with no rips; only flaw was the undesirable paint color). Photos of the car prior to the restoration project and as progress was made are available upon request. We have restored this car to its original condition; only a few small things have been upgraded like the brake master cylinder, AC converted to R134A, Dynamat added to the floor panel and rear deck lid, and the exterior color changed to black; otherwise this car is completely original. No expense was spared to use NOS or rebuilt parts to keep the cars originality and to make sure it drives and works just like new, just like it was in 1966. All original parts were saved and will be passed on to the new owner. This was not a frame off restoration but came very close to it. Please review all the pictures and you will observe that the engine and transmission were removed and parts around them were sand blasted and coated in either paint or POR-15 to protect the chassis and frame cross members from rust. The only sheet metal part that had to be cut off and replaced was the battery tray; for some odd reason Ford used different metal to make the trays therefore they always have to be replaced. At this time the vehicle has been driven over 1500 miles since it was put together. Each mile driven was used to make adjustments and fine tuning and to ensure the vehicle is in top running shape. We are confident to say that this car can be driven cross-country without any hesitation; we did a 350-mile day run in August with 90+ temperatures without any issues. Below we will make a list of parts and work done to the vehicle. The car is painted in Global PPG Color code C040 Schwartz the same found on Mercedes-Benz vehicles. The clear is a PPG DELTRON 4000 the car has four coats all around. The interior is done in black leather with white piping; the carpet is made by Jim Wallace of Leather Restorations in Florida the only company making an exact carpet specifically made for this car and has a the original rubber padding with the Lincoln logo like the car had when new. The top is also made by Jim Wallace and is an exact replica of the factory top with padding to hide the wires. The top is brand new but during installation and adjustment each side received a small scratch quarter of an inch long next to the chrome part on the rear of the roof. The top received all brand new weather-stripping; it took over 6 months to receive the handmade parts and the top weather stripping kit alone costs over $4K. The entire top and window electronics work like new: most of the window switches have been replaced and all new window motors installed. The rear windows roll down when you open the doors and roll up when the doors are closed. Some of the hydraulic top motors were replaced, some were sent out to be rebuilt. Most of the rubber moldings and padding all around the car are brand new except for the two moldings around the rear doors; the car’s moldings were in great shape and they were not replaced. Over $8k has been spent just on the weather stripping. All electronics work on the car but the A track comes in very low; the auxiliary jack we added will allow you to play music from your phone or MP3 player. The AUX jack is just one of the few items we replaced or added that are not original it can be easily removed. The engine was rebuilt by Complete Engine Rebuilding in NY in December of 2014 and still includes the remainder of the warranty. The transmission was rebuilt in June of 2015 by Dolphin Transmissions of NY and has a one year warranty. We supplied a complete Fatsco rebuilt kit so everything including the valve body was replaced. The cooling system is all brand new including the radiator, expansion tanks and all the hoses. The fuel system was completely rebuild with new filter and most of the lines replaced. The carburetor was rebuild using all original parts by J.C. Carburetor of NY, the fuel pump was rebuild by Bakers Auto in CT and the Fuel Tank by Liberty Auto In NY. The AC system has been updated to R134A: every part from the condenser, AC compressor, hoses, expansion valves are brand new; the only rebuilt part is the evaporator. The rear leaf springs and the suspension were rebuilt as well using all new bushings, shocks and bolts; all parts were provided by us and the work was done by Long Life Auto Spring in NY. The front end is completely new: most parts were brand new NOS; the calipers and the control arms we rebuilt since no replacements are available. The brake system has all brand new lines, the brake booster was updated, and a portioning valve was added to control the front disc brakes and rear drums. The power steering system has been rebuilt with all new hoses and filters. The exhaust system is Stainless Steel and is completely new with new headers. The wheels were all sandblasted and powder coated in black to match the car. The tires are Coker White walls brand new with 1500 miles on them; we added the warranty from Coker that will pass on to the new owner. The spare wheel was also repaired and sandblasted in the grey original factory color; a brand new tire for the spare wheel installed. The trunk has a brand new upholstery kit also manufactured by Jim Wallace. Most of the chrome and steel parts were sent out to S & H Chrome Refinishing in Tennessee: you have over $14K in re-chromed parts. A few pieces still need to be refinished but they are minor and hard to notice like trim that sun visors attach to and rear window frames; we have the new rear window frames as they just arrived from S & H and will pass along to the new owner. We are confident we have not mentioned even half the improvement and restoration work that was done on this vehicle; but if you have any questions about a particular part or how certain work was performed, we have documented the process and can answer any questions and address all concerns. The receipts for labor and parts add up to much more than what we are asking for the car but at this time we must let this one go… . If you plan to use a car carrier to pickup the car it must be inspected and any concerns addressed before the car leaves our possession, once we hand over the keys to the car we are not responsible. The car must be paid for within 7 days after the auction ends and picked with 10 days after the end of auction. Please ask all questions and make inspections before bidding on the car. I had this 1990. I had about 30000 miles on it and I drove it very little. Most years it was parked in my garage and I only took it out for cleaning and oil change. Maybe around the block. This is a very unique car, because it is not a chop-top Town Coupe. In a way it is, but it was send out by the factory to have to conversion done. There were only 24 like that and they are titled as convertibles and not like Town Coupes, like my 1978 Lincoln Convertible. I have 14 cars and mostly are classics. I kept the 1978 and I gave this 1979 to my wife and she did not drive it at all. She told me to sell it, because she feels bad about not driving it. I am 76 years old and too many toys. I am thinking about selling my Lincoln too and most of my other classic cars. Everything on this car is perfect, but it is not show-quality. It is a nice daily fair weather driver and get's more compliment then any other car I ever owned or drove.

I have for your consideration a 1978 Lincoln Continental. It has approx 67,000 original miles on it. It has the 460 engine, with automatic transmission. Both of which work nicely. Here is what I know/the story of this vehicle. The vehicle was owned by an elderly couple and it was the wife's car. In the early 1990's she got cancer. The husband wanted to surprise her, so he had the car painted and a new vinyl top put on by one of the local Ford dealerships, (Alexander Ford). The wife unfortunately succumbed to her illness. The husband tried to drive the car, but the memory of his wife would not allow him to do that. The vehicle was parked in a semi climate controlled basement, and actually "walled in" so no one could get to it very easily. That is where it sat until he decided to sell it, and that is where I came in. He had offered to sell it to me a couple of times and then changed his mind, but he is up in years now so he offered again and I bought the car. (Note: I am friends with the family, and I know the information is accurate.) I had the car brought to me on a roll back. It was quite dusty from sitting and I knew it would need work. The following is what I did to the car: New gas tank, sending unit and fuel pump. All new belts.Water pump/timing chain cover was leaking. All of that was fixed/replaced.Since we were close, and the OEM timing gears were nylon, I replaced the timing chain and gears. Complete tune up, new plug wires distributor cap, plugs etcFluids changed, prior to any attempt to start the vehicle.New battery.New tires.New front brakes and rotors.I had the car detailed, and it uncovered a very very nice paint job. Here are the issues left with the car: The A/C is not working. The power door locks are not working. The left turn signal inside does not illuminate. turn signals work fine. The leather upholstery has discolored some over the years. The car has no catalytic converters on it. I can get them put on for $250, if needed. Everything else works on the car to the best of my knowledge. Radio, power antenna, power windows including the power "vent" windows, power seats, all lights, headlight covers, etc etc My intentions were to use this car on the weekend and just to "cruise" around in. It rides/drives like it is on a sheet of glass. The major reason for selling is that that the driver's area is not big enough for me. I am a a tall and big person, 6'8" 385lbs. The first time I sat in the driver's seat was after all of the work was done, and that is when I found out there is not a much room in the Lincoln as was in my 1988 Cadillac Brougham. I thought about moving the seat back and all of that but I wanted to keep the car original, so I decided to sell it. Now if you are still here after all of that, it is time for pics. The car is sold "as is" no warranty express or implied. 500 dollar deposit via Paypal, balance in cash or cashier's check. All checks must clear before the car will be released. This car has a lot of potential, and a lot of life left in her. I priced it about half way of what the range is in the NADA book. Please look at the photos closely and if you have any questions e mail me, I will respond ASAP. Thanks Note: Someone wanted to know what the white was on the side of the vehicle. That is just the reflection from the lines in the parking lot. The paint is that good on this vehicle.

The new Continental was so elegant and carried a European flair with beautiful chrome work and sweeping lines that the New York Museum of Modern Art displayed a 1941 Lincoln Continental in their “8 Automobiles” exhibit in 1951. After World War II Lincoln and Mercury resumed civilian automobile production on November 1, 1945 and introduced updates to the already existing Continental. The Continental was a very exclusive automobile and only 466 Continentals were produced for model year 1946 with only 201 of them being convertibles. Sitting at the top of the Ford production range at a cost of $4,474 in 1946, was one of the most expensive automobiles of its time. Continentals of the immediate post war era are fully recognized as Full Classics by the Classic Car Club of America (CCCA). European Motor Studio is proud to offer this stunning 1946 Lincoln Continental Convertible finished in a stunning and very rich Burgundy over a dark tan interior with a matching dark tan convertible top and matching boot. This Continental is believed to have traveled a mere 53,494 miles from brand new and has benefited from a total ground up restoration in the early 1990’s. The car came out of a very long term Rosenblatt Collection in Ohio and was sold at the Christies Pebble Beach Auction in 1997 when the car was taken to southern California ever since European Motor Studio acquired the car in late 2013. The car is believed to have either two or three owner since new and underwent a complete bare metal strip down and repainted in its original lacquer Burgundy color in 1999/2000. The Continental has benefitted from proper storage and proper maintenance all of its life and is evident in the presentation of the car. The paint has held up extremely well and still looks beautiful today. All of the panels are very glossy with a rich color and free from any sun fade or damage. There are a few tiny stone chips here and there on the car but still shows beautifully. There are no signs of any previous damage and absolutely zero rust on the car. All of the chrome had been done as part of the restoration in the early 1990’s and still looks beautiful today showing only minimal signs of age on some pieces. The convertible top is brand new and looks stunning along with its new matching boot. The tires are correct white walls for the car and have about 70% tread life left. The interior looks stunning and shows almost no signs of wear; the leather is soft and supple and retains a beautiful rich color. The carpets all look to be in excellent condition showing almost no wear or any stains. All of the trim and chrome on the interior are in excellent condition showing minimal wear. All of the power features on the car are in proper working order. The power windows are still operating as designed and the power convertible top goes up and down as it should with ease and the exterior and interior lights are working and operating as designed. Even the original spot light is present and in working order. This Continental features its original and desirable 292 cubic-inch 120 horse powered Series H V12 engine which runs and drives beautifully. It starts right up and idles smoothly and quietly. It accelerates beautifully and is free from any mechanical issues. The 3-speed column shift transmission is very smooth and easy to operate with an excellent clutch feel and free from any slipping or grinding. The brakes are in excellent condition and do not squeak or vibrate under load. This is a beautifully maintained Lincoln Continental that has been cared for and looked after it entire life. It comes with its original spare tire with its original “Continental kit”, the original owners manual from 1946, and the original rear wheel body colored covers. 1976 Lincoln Continental Mark IV Clear title Very nice condition Rides and drives better then a new Lincoln Leather interior fully loaded with every known option of 1976 All options work, however the the blower for the AC and heat needs servicing and currently does not work. I have bought the relay to fix this and I'm repairing it. If you have any questions please let me know. Options: Power seats lumbar Power steering and brakes Tilt wheel AC EXTERIOR Exterior of the car is striking, Starmist white paint, padded burgundy roof and gleaming chrome. The paint is very nice and presentable with no major imperfections that detract from the overall appearance. Vinyl burgundy roof is very presentable but has some minor shrinkage at the bottom corners, I believe an upholstery shop could fix this with minor cost. Chrome overall is in great shape and blinding, there are two places were the chrome looks dull but could possibly be polished out. INTERIOR: The interior is a beautiful white and deep red combination. The leather is soft and supple, no visible rips, tears or rot. Carpet is clean, dash is very nice with none of the usual cracks or separations. Engine and Trans: 460 V8 Engine runs great, silent but powerful I drive the car a few times a week and enjoy it. The odometer shows 07689 but I have maintenance records back to the 1990's and the car has over 100k miles on it but has been well maintained. This car receives as much attention as my other Lincoln's from the '50's and '60's and is far more comfortable and reliable to drive; regularly making long distance trips Being 35 years old obviously the car is not off the showroom floor new, but will thoroughly please the new owner An excellent investment for the future, as most classics have proven ( remember the price of a '59 Cadillac before they were icons of the '50's and now commanding up to six figures!) I'm a collector of classic Lincolns and this one is very nice and one of my favorites. A classic you can REALLY enjoy without spending a fortune or worrying daily about reliability. LOOK AT THE GROWING VALUE OF CLASSIC CARS, I BELIEVE YOU WILL NOT FIND A BETTER CLASSIC LINCOLN FOR MY ASKING PRICE.
