Wow!!! This beautiful Mercedes is up for auction with a low reserve, similar cars are selling for $13,000, please do a little research. This car has incredibly low miles, and is in OUTSTANDING condition (for the age) inside and out. This car has a clean and clear title in hand, has a clean Carfax history, and has never been in an accident. Garage kept, non smoker with less than 69,700 miles. The paint is all original, and has a deep gloss; it is very evident this car has spent it’s life in the garage. Air condition works great (Blows ice cold) The tires (Yokohama) and brakes are in very good condition, and I cannot think of anything off the top of my head that the car needs. This indestructible machine, as enthusiasts like to call it, drives fantastic, the suspension feels tight as well as the steering wheel. There are no funny noises at all, no clunking, no vibration, no nothing (lol). The car has the 3.0L engine not the under powered 2.6 or 2.8L The interior is in spectacular condition, and shows minimum to no signs of wear, this is the leather version and not the vinyl as many of them have, the seats are super firm and the dash is in perfect condition. The car also has the factory 6 speaker sound system with its original working radio-cassette and power antenna. The engine compartment and engine itself is also very clean, there are no signs of any leaking of any kind of fluids. The car recently had all fluids checked and serviced (engine, transmission, radiator, etc.) Underneath the car is as clean as can be and you can still see the original paint color in great cond. The fenders that frame the wheel wells are like new and did not even notice dirt on them. This car still has all factory stickers (VIN no.) on all doors, engine area, trunk, front and rear bumper. This car is the exact opposite of the typical used car, and is truly in fantastic shape. I hate my time being wasted, and will not waste yours. This car runs strong, shifts smoothly with no slipping or excessively hard shifts, and is in great cosmetic condition. This is the needle in the haystack, a true “NO DISAPPOINTMENTS” car. 1990 w highly desirable 3.0 dohc motor w updated interior. 59k on the odometer but it sticks so sold as true mileage unknown but I would guess around 140K. All 4 windows work plus sunroof tilts and slides back properly. good tires w recent new radiator w thermostat plus the dreaded thermo plug hose buried in the cylinder head was just changed. The car has the staggered look from the previous owner with 16" in rear and 15" in front. The spark plugs w new cap rotor plus brakes on all 4 wheels were just done. The radio does not work but the original wiring plugs are still intact. The AC does not work. I have added a switch to turn on cooling fans as needed in a slot where the heated seat button would go because the AC not working affects the communication w the fans. There is a light rust bubble on rear passenger arch above wheel but it has not gotten any worse over time. The radio does not work so antenna is stuck up. The tranny shifts w the usual mercedes clunk from this vintage but never misses a beat. slight oil drips if she sits but she burns no oil even on prolonged trips at 80 MPH. This rare car drives straight and is a true tank. i would not hesitate to drive anywhere. The idle is perfect in park but is a tad low in drive so i blip the throttle a little. car just had oil change as well as the transmission fluid changed. 1990 was a big change in the motor as well as the interior. It is in super shape and a total blast to drive. It has a glove-box and therefore only a driver side airbag as well as ABS plus power steering and power locks etc. The power steering fluids were jsut changed as well as the serpentine belt plus I am including a spare belt as well. The rear driver tail light is not as bright as passenger side and the fuel gauge works when it wants to. the clock loses time but the outside temperature display is fine. I have perfect ebay feedback. I will not accept paypal. This is cash money order or cashiers check only. The car can be shipped anywhere in the lower 48 states at the buyers cost. Car is sold as is with no warranty. It is a 26 year old car that was recently mentioned in multiple magazines as a future collectible especially with the 7000 RPM red-line limit motor that the DOHC 3.0 M104 possesses. I have my beautiful 1990 Mercedes 300 SEL with 147,000 miles for sale or trade. This is the best Mercedes ever made and with the 6 cylinder motor that is bulletproof.It's almost impossible to find one without rust. Well this one has not seen a winter yet. It's been a Florida car all of its life. I've posted 2 sets of pictures that I took on different days. 1st in my driveway (rainy day) and second set at work (sunny day). It's Blue exterior with Matching Blue leather. Definitely a one of a kind! Looks amazing!It has newer tires, brakes, full tune up, valve cover gaskets, oil pan gasket, and more done in the past 12 months as part of regular maintenance. I'll be interested in trades for other interesting cars, trucks, boats, campers, whatever ... as long as its cool and fun. I love toys and this was a toy that I've enjoyed over the past 2 years. Only 6,000 miles were put on in 10 years by them! Since I've had it, it's seen about 1,000 miles on nice days. I've done some maintenance on it. Nothing major. It's a good car and can be driven anywhere without worries. The star emblem was stolen from the hood and the rear glass has some delamination in the corner.If you're flying in from out of state, I would be more than happy to pick you up from O'hare airport. This "machine"as enthusiasts like to call it, has one of the best engines Mercedes has ever engineered, the bullet proof in line 6 cylinder 3.0L drives fantastic, the suspension is tight and sturdy but with that balance/float of the luxury car drive. From inside the cabin you cannot here anything just the road, no clunking, no vibration. All manuals, tools, books, service records are available. The interior is in great condition, and shows minimum to no signs of wear, the seats are firm and the dash is in perfect condition (very hard to find due to CA weather) the carpet, headliner also in great condition. The power sunroof, Windows, power seats and central locks all work as well as every single button in this car. The car also has the factory sound system with its original working radio-cassette and power antenna. The engine compartment and engine itself is also very clean, has a minor oil leak.
