Looking to buy a house, so unfortunately it's time to sell the 240. I would love to keep it, but i need the $$ more than the car right now. Like the title says, the car has a freshly built dual cam KA-T with custom manifolds and big turbo. The car is runs and drives, but will need some minor tuning for better drivability, I have all software for tuning. The odometer is broken, chassis has over 150,000 miles but the ENGINE HAS ZERO MILES, FRESHLY BUILT!! The car will also need tires. I'm looking to get $7500 OBO, not looking for trades. Gorgeous rare plum lavender metallic all original Nissan factory paint, Code: LG1. If you love lavender purple this is the best shade we've ever seen. It is a shade of metallic lavender that says 'oooh' every time you see it. Gorgeous. We still love the car but are too old to be bothered by every 18-35 year old that sees the car and asks to buy it, or wants to race at every stop light. The car was purchased in 1990 from Beaverton Nissan. Beaverton Nissan told us only three 240's were ever painted this color. The 240 is the most reliable and trouble free car we have ever owned. Listing a gorgeous, garage-kept Nissan 240sx ripe for any type of project you want to build!With much debate, I've finally decided to list up my Nissan 240sx for sale. She's a beauty, original, and quite unmolested apart from a few, easy-to-replace bolt-on modifications. Her body has 201k miles on it, but free of any major damage apart from dings and scratches.(Front bumper is the worst, with a faded lower lip and paint etches in front) Engine (KA24E) and 5spd transmission have undergone a rebuild about 30k miles ago. Consider that hot middle-aged chick in the bar you see every night. Sure she may be a little rough around the edges and a tad used, but you'd still hit it any night of the week. The 240 is exactly like that chick, except you don't have to get drunk to enjoy this baby.The interior has been left intact, complete with carpet, door panels, and seats. Only additions are the gauge cluster and Sparco detachable racing wheel- Cast away your useless airbags. Welcome to bashing your brains across a metal steering attachment as punishment for your failed attempt at driving (Wtf, why do I need this then? Just trust me, it's cool, you're an F1 driver). The engine is running on stock internals, but has been rebuilt around 30k miles away. Bonus: It's plastered in chevy paint to piss off the American fan boys. It starts and runs without flaw, and makes such a sweet loping sound at idle. Oh, then there's the exhaust. You'll be punishing your neighbors with a very unnecessary Apexi exhaust alarm clock each and every morning. Also, a walbro 255 sits in the fuel tank. If you haven't guessed by now, it's basically set up to receive turbo boost, or basically to swap out the engine entirely, it's all up to you. You could keep the KA and constantly piss and moan about how much SR kids waste their money on swaps. Or maybe you want the SR so you can feel superior with two cams and spend money importing basic repair parts. OR how about the LS1? Nothing screams "I'm overcompensating!" louder than a Chevy V8 in a Japanese born car....with orange paint. The point is, you're not limited whatsoever in any option with this ride.The suspension has been lowered about 1.5 inches, but left untouched other than that. The differential is also open and unmolested. Wanting to build a drag car and deface drifting, actual racing talent, and the country of Japan all in one shot? No problem! The best part is that my 240 starts, runs, and drives. It's already good to go. I'm also not in a hurry to sell, or even to sell period. But unfortunately, I have an unnatural, insatiable love for money. I'd sleep with it and rub it on my body all night if it wasn't considered vulgar. Two body styles are available: the two-seater pictured here and a slightly longer two-plus-two. Both are shorter, wider, and lower than their respective predecessors. And both body styles are available in the U.S. only with T-tops. The Z's T-roof is one of the best we've ever encountered-tight, leak-free, and easy to remove-but we're still bewildered and bothered by Nissan's decision not to offer the even-more-solid japanese-market fixed-roof coupe in the States. Under the new Z's T-roof glass sits perhaps the most beautiful and efficient cockpit in the sports-car kingdom. The instrument panel blends seductive curves and handsome materials. The gauges are clear, conspicuous analog dials. Ancillary controls nestle on easy-to reach pods surrounding the wheel. The steering wheel itself is a meaty three spoke design that feels hefty and reassuring in your palms. The leather-wrapped shifter sits close at hand. Tasteful fabric trims the doors, the console, and the dash. And the seats are deeply sculptured, easy to adjust, and extremely comfortable. (Our test car's thrones were covered in optional leather-part of a $1000 option package-but natty-looking cloth seats are standard.) Trust us: sports-car cockpits don't get any better than this. We still have a couple of gripes, though. The first concerns the optional automatic climate control system. Designed to be a set-and-forget unit, this system instead behaves as a set and reset-and-override-and-get-annoyed unit. It offers only two manual fan speeds, and there is no way to channel the airflow where you want it. Although we didn't have a chance to try the standard, manual climate-control system which offers four fan speeds and five options for air routing-it should be far more accommodating. We also have a few complaints about the optional Bose sound system. We don't claim to be audio experts, but we agree as a group that this system-like some other Bose units we've sampled sounds undistinguished. And it has no fade or balance controls whatsoever, obviously implying that Bose knows better than the users of its systems how these parameters should be set. Happily, there is an easy solution to both of our cockpit gripes: skip the optional electronic power package. You'll give up the heated rear-view mirrors and the power controls for the driver's seat, but you'll bypass the automatic climate-control system and the Bose stereo-and save $1600. Enough talk of sound systems and cabin accouterments. You want to know the serious stuff, the power and the glory, the fury and the dust. The power is provided by a version of Nissan's fine 60-degree 3.0-liter V-6, but it's been so thoroughly reworked that you wouldn't recognize it. The new engine sports twin cams, 24 valves, pent roof combustion chambers with centrally located spark plugs, electronic fuel injection, new intake and exhaust manifolds, and a variable intake-valve-timing system for improved performance throughout the rev band. Horsepower is up to 222 at 6400 rpm more than in last year's Turbo-and torque is increased to 198 pound-feet at 4800 rpm. * I describe my listings as accurately as possible!
