Here for sale is my 1990 Oldsmobile Toronado Trofeo! This is a rare project car or fixer upper if you choose. It runs and drives. It probably needs a tuneup and the brakes need to be worked on. Also there is a squeak from the belt and the exhaust is loud because of the previous owner. Aside from that it runs great! The body needs some work but is mostly rust free. The hood and corners by the hood are where you will little rust. The second latch on the hood won't latch either. The pop-open headlights also work great. Also the front tires leak air after some time but they can be fixed rather than replaced. I have many replacement parts such as a good, rust-free hood, fender, driver headlight cover, front cowl, 1990 exhaust tips, and front emblem! The suspension is very good, stiff and sturdy!. The interior is also in good shape. As for the interior, majority of it is there. The headliner is missing and a few misc parts but i have small interior parts such a ash trays and passenger door handle trim. All of the computers work and all show accurate readings/information. The oil pressure sensor works sometimes and it needs an air flow sensor. The carpet is brand new and I have a replacement dashboard, A-Pillar covers, door sill covers and glove box too. They just need to be dyed blue to match first. The sunroof leaks a little and has been sealed on the roof for now but it also works perfectly. The power windows and locks probably need to be replaced due to their behavior to cut out every once in a while but then come back. The climate control works and blows warm heat but the A/C doesn't work. I think it just needs to be recharged though. The 16 way power seats work every way perfectly, but the passenger up and down work on one side and the lumbar doesn't work on both. The leather is cracking but the seats can be repaired as to reupholstered. The stereo is custom but made so its unseen. I have installed a new 1200 watt Pioneer amplifier and new Pioneer D-series speakers connected to the factory head unit and the head unit can still adjust the sound front to rear and left to right. The amp is mounted under the rear shelf out of sight too. I have an owner manual, service manual, and very rare 1990 Oldsmobile fleet buyers guide. This car is as pictured and I will not be parting it out. Everything is being sold together. This is a fantastic collectors car for anyone who wants to put in the effort to repair it the rest of the way. It is being sold as is and has a clean title. Also I have the title in hand. I haven't been able to restore it lately and need to sell it. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me!__

This 1966 OldsmobileToronado is a time capsule This car was ordered new by G. Walker of Indiana, with all the bells and whistles. Deluxe model withCustom ordered Parchment Interior (Off White) black Dash, inserts andcarpet. Tinted windows, windscreen, retractable seatbelts. Power windows, powerbrakes, A/C etc. It also came with the rare option of reclining front passenger seat He passed away in 1980.It was then inherited by his daughter & son in law. It was very well takencare of by them for a decade and almost complete service records arethere. In 1981 the Transmission was professionally rebuilt byAmco at 40,000 miles at a cost of $ 675. In 1988 they started a complete restoration on the car. Engine professionally rebuilt & repainted at 97307miles in 1988 including new PS pump & starter. Total cost $ 2391. In 1989it was completely stripped down to bare metal, all / any rust repaired andrepainted at a cost of $ 2,666. In 1990 the interior was completely redone,Seats, Carpet, headliner, visors, felt, door panels & trunk liner. All records and documentation are there and will come with the Car. Thereafter it was sold to a collector in Kentucky and it sat in his garage for almost 25years. The interior of the car was covered with blankets all this while and thus survived very well. The car has now received a brand new Satin Black paintjob that gives an excellent sheen to its muscular lines. This is NOT a RAT ROD black or Flat Black, but a nice Satin finish. If you prefer another colour, this is an excellent undercoat to get a show quality finish. General Motors, in 1965, knew exactly what Oldsmobile stood for: "Engineering," says former Olds designer Stan Wilen. Olds made apoint of accentuating its engineering leadership. If you were looking forsomething nicer, sportier than a Chevy, you'd buy a Pontiac. If you were tooembarrassed to buy a Cadillac, you could buy a Buick--it was a doctor'scar." On October 14, 1965, in an effort to maintain its crown as GM'sengineering division, Oldsmobile launched the all-new Toronado, its mostradical car in a 68-year history of innovation. Enter the Toronado. Weighing 4800 pounds, 211 inches long, and riding on a 119-inch wheelbase and the first front-drive production carmade in America since the 1937 Cord 810 and 812. Its long hood and short,"true" fastback deck proportions were exaggerated, but the longdash-to-axle ratio betrayed what lay underneath: a longitudinal 425-cubic-inch,90-degree V-8 engine. With a dual-snorkel air cleaner, an extra-large intakemanifold, and twin exhaust pipes, the Toronado had a gross output of 385horsepower and 475 pound-feet of torque. The new Toronado was the talk of the industry and motoringpress at its debut and a month later was selected by Motor Trend magazine to bethe publication's 1966 'Car of the Year'. One of the finest designs of the era, if not the singlefinest. A pinnacle car from a pinnacleera. Then add the Deluxe edition and youhave the finest of the rarest. Never again will therebe such power Cruisers. Not a Toy for boys but a piece of American Automotive History. Anappreciating asset that can be enjoyed by its proud owner. The 66 Toronado is a muscle car that crosses boundaries froma very capable street fighter to a high end luxury car. Because of that, and because it cost morethan just about any other muscle car of the era makes for the possibility forone like this to exist in original form. Something this expensive was less likely to have the standard issuemuscle car abuse and neglect program given to GTOs, camaros, etc... thenslapped back together then called original today. Build Tag Decoded: Toronado Sports Coupe Custom, Junebuild date, built in Euclid Ohio, Fawn Vinyl Reclining Strato Bench seat, tinted windshield and windows, Column shift auto, Air conditioning and rearspeaker GG colour code Gold. Here is what is recently been done. 1. Brakesand wheel cylinder, 2. Carburettorrebuild. 3. Newhoses 4. Starter, 5. Fuelpump, 6. Gastank clean, 7. Battery 8. See below for history.- The Buick Reatta was a sport coupe designed by GM which was powered by a 3.8 liter V6.- It was the first car Buick advertised as a two seater since the 1940 Buick model 46.- It was a handmade luxury sports coupe produced at the Lansing Craft Centre in Lansing michigan and sold by the Buick division of American automaker General Motors from early 1988 to 1991.- Like the cadillac Allante it was based on a shortened version of the GM E platform used by the Cadillac Eldorado Oldsmobile Toronado and particularly the Buick Riviera with which it shared many mechanical parts advanced electronics and interior furnishings. - While a sport compact car it was only offered with an automatic transmission. It was also Buicks only sports car at the time.- The Reatta sported its own unique body style and was crafted with an attention to hand finishing uncommon for a mass produced automobile. - The assembly was performed at a small series of craft stations each with a specialized team of workers rather than a conventional assembly line.- After a team had completed their portion of the assembly the car would be moved by robots to the next station in the series.- All of the paintwork was subcontracted to PPG Industries personnel who performed the work on site.- Initially offered for 1988 as a hardtop coupe a convertible version was added for 1990. - The Reatta used GMs ubiquitous transverse Buick 3800 V6 with 165 to 170 hp and 210 to 220 lb.ft of torque with the highest output in the last year of production. - The car sported a fully independent suspension 4 wheel disc brakes with ABS and front wheel drive.- Top speed was electronically limited to 125 mph. - The Reatta was rated at 18 mpg in the city and 27 mpg 8.7 L on the highway.- Qualified buyers may be eligible for Financing Nationwide Shipping and Extended Warranties..

1993 Buick Riviera Luxury Coupe 2-Door 3.8L. This is the last year of this body style which is now a classic. Only 4,555 of this model was actually manufactured. Has brand new Goodyear tires July 25, 2014. Has Bose Gold sound system. Valve job 4,000 miles ago. New front brake rotors and pads on July 3, 2014. Runs very good. Has small ding in corner of trunk lid, two dents in rocker panel and a beebee ding in hood that you have to look for. This car spent half of its life in San Diego area, garaged 100% and I bought it in 2000 with 42,000 miles. It was owned by an old lady and I bought it out of the estate. The last half of its life, it has been in Ketchikan, garaged up to 18 months ago when I bought a new truck and now have too many vehicles. In order to fully restore this classic, you will need new leather seats, carpet and headliner (original headliner has been removed but mounting cardboard is in place and in good shape). You will also need new shocks. The trunk lid dent, and some unnoticeable dents in the drivers side lower region of the rocker panel and very small ping dent in the hood will need to be fixed. You will need to repaint the two-tone, lower paint which is a copper color.I had planned to keep this car and restore it myself because it is a joy to drive. This is perhaps the best sport coupe that Buick ever made in my opinion. Please call me at 907 225-9495 for more information. Thank you. The V6 was now the only engine, rated initially at 142 hp (106 kW) SAE and 200 lb·ft (270 N·m) of torque. It used the Turbo-Hydramatic 440-T4 automatic with a 2.84:1 final drive ratio. This generation was noted for advanced electronic instrumentation. Four-wheel disc brakes were standard. Handling was notably improved. The Riviera placed fourth for Motor Trend's 1986 Car of the Year contest.Fuel economy was notably improved for the 1986 Riviera, but the investment in the downsized, transverse engine front wheel drive platform resulted in a substantial price increase, to $19,831 to the base model and $21,577 for the new T-Type. 1989–1993 Buick RivieraThe smaller dimensions, generic styling, and lack of a V8 led to sales plummeting to 22,138 for 1986, only 15,223 for 1987, and a dismal 8,625 for 1988. A restyle for 1989 that added 11 inches (280 mm) to the overall length (on an unchanged wheelbase) helped, but only incrementally, boosting sales to 21,189 for 1989, but dropping to a low of 4,555 for 1993, the shortened final year of that model.[1] The last 1993 Riviera rolled off the Detroit/Hamtramck Assembly plant line on December 10, 1992.
