Looks like the original paint, and is in good condition. It is a very well maintained car with extensive service records & regular oil changes. The car runs well, A/C is ice cold, no check engine lights. It has aftermarket headers, slotted rotors, exhaust, HRE 3-piece forged wheels (18in front & 19in rear), lowering springs, LED DRLs. The wheels are polished aluminum but are dipped gold (gold can be removed). The timing belt was replaced at 80k miles and transmission was refurbished in 2008. The car is super rare, very hard to find Blk on Blk with AUTO transmission. You could look a year and not see another one. I am only selling to get something new, not enough room in the garage. For a 25 year old car this NSX is beautiful but it is not perfect. The paint is very nice but there is an occasional rock chip or small scratch here and there when looked at up close but overall the paint is very nice as you can see. The driver’s side bolster has some wear from getting in and out as photographed. The car runs and drives great and while the AC does work great to cool the car there are only two speeds high or off, the lower settings are not functioning it’s all or nothing, I think the controller needs to be replaced. The tach is also not correct. It works but does not show the right tach idle speed as you drive, never bothered me as I drive it by sound anyway. She has always been adult driven and babied never raced. Car is totally stock except the aftermarket wheels. The rear rubber on the aftermarket wheels is thin and will need to be replaced I do however have the stock wheels and tires as pictured and they will be included in the sale if you pay the shipping or pickup.As I said the car is totally stock I never wanted to mess with the already amazing performance that Acura packed into the NSX the only thing I changed are the wheels. I added Racing Hart C5's Wheels 19 inch and 11 inch wide in back and 18 inch , 9 in wide in front which I spent close to $5000 on way back. The wheels are in very nice shape but they are not perfect, you can find a small nick here and there on a few of them as seen in the photos.I do still have the chromed stock wheels and with mounted tires also. They will included with the sale if you pay the shipping or pick them up. 3 of the stock wheels are perfect one has a curb scuff.There is a factory CD changer in the trunk and I have all of the cars manuals and papers which will be included.I believe I am the third owner. I purchased the car from my dad in Feb. 2000 with 43,000 miles. Although I have loved this car I rarely drove it it now has 50,020 miles and I have not registered the car since 2005 when the last Oregon Plates expired. The car has been started and driven around the block monthly but other than that has not been in regular use. I wash it every few months and enjoy looking at it but if just does not get driven in a family with 5 kids. I would trust this NSX to drive anywhere and look amazing doing it. I have the trunk lining for it as well as the original parts that were replaced. The original Red paint had some typical wear from age, but no dents or dings! Clean California title with no Lien and registration good through 2016. I am sad to let this NSX go but I have to. This car drives and looks as a 17K mile car should. Completely stock. Comes with letter/books from Acura. I purchased this car from original family....Dad passed away and son stored car for 7 years. Car spent all years in San Francisco until I brought to PA this year. PPI welcomed. Dad passed in 1998. Car was serviced/fluids/inspection and put into storage. Previous servicing was done by original owner which was basically oil/fluid changes every 3k miles. I do not have receipt for service in 1998 but shows on carfax. Carfax is clean. Great car. No rips/tears/bolsters/mats...all excellent. I hate to part with this NSX as I don't think you will find another one like it but need to sell.
