Up for sale is this VERY RARE AC Schnitzer BMW 730i Sport, imported from Germany and legally licensed and titled in the US. 3.0 Liter, in line six cylinder engine; 5 speed manual transmission; it is completely RUST FREE and came from Berlin to Florida, and has been garaged in Ohio since 2010. This is common knowledge for BMW gearheads, but for those that do not know, AC Schnitzer is a third party tuning company based out of Aachen, Germany, which handles touring and sport suspensions and tunings for BMW and MINI European automobiles. For this vehicle specifically, this package addresses more of a touring aspect, as opposed to performance, since this model contains a more economical engine size. But this is by no means a marshmallow, this car handles beautifully and has plenty of power. The gear ratio is relatively low, and you can wind the gears out. It has been lowered and has a great, low center of gravity and plenty of torque. Aesthetically, this car gets plenty of looks. Beautiful gray/grey paint with AC Schnitzer sport pin striping and appropriate badging. The interior is black leather with wood grain accents. As part of the AC Schnitzer upgrades, this vehicle has a M sport shifter and M Sport steering wheel with Sport Grip, with very RARE tilt and telescopic movements. Dual zone temperature controls, heated seats, power mirrors, power locks/windows, power moonroof. Stereo is a BMW Executive Series single disc CD, originally from a 2004 BMW Z4, fits in the dash like a glove, with all matching LEDs. This is a TWO OWNER car. The original owner had shipped from Berlin to Florida, prior to its current ownership with us. All original paperwork and manuals, including complete set of original keys. First aid kit and tool kit in rear trunk with full size spare are all intact and complete. The original owner purchased an extended service contract when the car was new and always dealer serviced it. He kept all of the records for the vehicle. It will come with extensive files (photos below). It came to Tucson, Arizona in November of 1998. The car was driven sparingly and well cared for. The second owner, who was a friend of the original owner subsequently, bought the car. They were an older couple and took very good care of the car and documented the services from their local German shop. The window sticker, the car was $33,885. Cosmetic Condition: This 325iX is in excellent shape inside and out! I have not seen another non-M3 E30 as nice as this one. The Alpine white on Black Leather interior is a very desirable color combination. The paint on this car is All Original and in fantastic condition. The car also has a clean Carfax (available on request). I personally spot wet sanded, buffed, polished, and waxed it. I was amazed at how nice the 25 year old paint shines. The body is solid and straight. No major dents or dings other than the one pictured of the driver side rear bumper. The second owner told me they bumped into a planter. It has been touched up, but not professionally. All of the plastic trim and rubber is also very nice. It is not dry rotted or damaged. The original BBS basket weave style wheels are in good shape an all original. A few have curb rash, but I decided not to have them refinished because the original paint is really nice. I spent a decent amount of time cleaning them with a toothbrush! Overall the exterior is excellent! The interior in this E30 is like a time capsule. The seats show almost no wear and have no rips or tears. They have never been re-dyed or painted. The carpets are clean and look great. All the panels and dash are crack free. The headliner is very clean and has no rips or tears. All the lights on the radio and gauges work. The windows, sunroof, radio, heated seats, OBC all work as they should. The AC blows cold and the heat works as well. Mechanical Condition: This E30 is mechanically sound as well. The engine starts right up and runs smooth. The transmission shifts smooth and even. The steering feels nice and tight. The car does not appear to leak any fluids. I had a brand new set of Kuhmo all-season tires installed. Both previous owners kept all service records. There is literally a stack of papers that will come with the car documenting its history since new. I have purchased this car with salvaged title in 2006 and have custom designed and rebuilt every detail excluding engine. My plan was to put an S52 engine in it but unfortunately I run out of budget. I have every single receipt to show and I have lots of extra parts to go with it ones the reserve price (7777) is met but make your offers and let the best offer win. What I did: Completely replaced (every single component) suspension with an M3 suspension. Replaced all mounts: engine, transmission, differential, driveshaft, basically every single rubber part on the car was replaced. Put in new rock & pinion along with tie rods and ball joints New shocks & studs with mounts Injectors, plugs, coils, wires, boots, fuel filter and pump Valve seal, oil sensor, camshaft sensor, throttle position sensor, MAF sensor Complete cooling system with all hoses (removed thermostat), fan clutch, heat sensor and relay Rotors, brakes, wheels and tires with only 400miles on them Xenon angel eye headlights, taillights, fog lights with custom grilles and back panel Antiroll stability bar Carped pad and carpet Rewired audio system with custom built into seats pioneer subwoofers managed by BOSS amp, in dash mp3 with programmable display and Bluetooth along with Polk audio 6 way speakers Custom designed ostrich faux leather seats Custom designed shift and brake handle M leather boots Custom designed wood trim All weather-stripping was replaced New windshield Convertible comfort ride screen Custom body work as you can see in pictures along with paint job Total for all receipts was about $18k This is what I remember thus far but like I said everything I put in this car has a receipt to show I only driven 7-8kmiles for this 10 years that I had it and I am not that young anymore to go on with this project. i hope the new owner will continue and this car will hit a movie or something. DESCRIPTION: You are bidding on a 1991 BMW 850i. I am the second owner of this vehicle and it has been a blast but I need to clear some space. 102,000 original miles. I just spent over $2000 in service, fixing all the oil leaks, suspension work, etc. I also put on brand new 18" tires with blacked out BMW rims. I do have the original rims that will be included with the car. The interior is excellent. No tears in the leather, no cracks in the dash. All the windows work, both power seats work. The only issue's I can tell is the display lights for the information center are partially out, the front marker light glass is broken and the screw in plastic bolt for the tool kit in the trunk is broken. The paint is good but definitely shows some age, the only flaw I can see if there is a small group of bubbles on the front drivers fender, otherwise it looks good, the clear coat is intact but it has some fading from age. There is not any visible rust to the body and it was a Colorado car for the majority of it's life. RETURN POLICY This vehicle is sold strictly AS IS, WHERE IS. There is no warranty and no guarantees. Here is a 1991 BMW 325i coupe in blue. It has a six cylinder and an automatic transmission. The body is generally straight and rust free, especially for a 1991. There are only two rust spots that I have found, one is on the drivers front wheel well and the other is the lower rear valance, below the bumper on the passenger side. The fenders, door seams, door jambs are all solid with no signs of any rust. I have owned the car for three and a half years. It has been a great car and has never let me down.The actual mileage is unknown. The odometer currently reads 189000. The previous owner estimated that it probably had a little over 200,000 miles. I have probably added 25,000 to 30,000 miles to this. I commute approximately 70 to 80 miles a day and drive this regularly during the Spring, Summer and Fall. I have driven in the Winter but try not to when the roads are salty.The power windows and sunroof operate as they should.It is an honest, solid original car. It runs pretty good, however, there is often a hesitation on acceleration from a stop.Since it has been in my care, the following items have been addressed.1. Rebuilt front suspension, including having the steering rack rebuilt, replacing tie rods, control arms, bushings and stabilizer links. The power steering hoses were also replaced with new.2. Replaced the drivers side rear wheel bearing, half-shaft and bushings. The rear subframe bushings have not been replaced and I suspect are original.3. Rear brakes were done with new rotors, pads and brake hoses.4. Rear differential fluid has been replaced.5. Replaced the muffler and catalytic converter.6. Replaced the driveshaft with a used driveshaft. There is a slight driveline vibration on takeoff, but that may be due to the driveshaft coupling nut. I have a new one with rubber spline seal, it will be included with the sale for the new owner to install.7. Tires are in excellent condition, they were replaced a little over two and a half years ago. Alignment was performed when the front suspension was rebuilt.8. In the engine bay, the rubber intake boot, vacuum lines, cap and rotor, spark plugs have been replaced with new. The timing belt and water pump should be replaced soon. I have a new timing belt, tensioner and water pump, which will be included for the buyer to install. 9. Blue coir floor mats were purchased 3 years ago.Since it is an older car, there are several items that could use attention.The drivers seat leather has come apart this Summer and the foam is exposed.The A/C doesn't currently work. It hasn't worked since I have owned the car.The original paint is dodgy with a peeling clear coat on the hood, roof and trunk lid.Some spares I have will be included with the sale, 1. This is my five year long project. I had a vision and it's now complete. I brought this car home from Dallas Fortwoth in 2011 with about 300 miles less than it now has on it. I don't drive it, hense one reason I am selling. It has the original M42 engine in it. It was rebuilt at 130,000, I have the work order from the previous owner who had the work done. It has a Mark D Chip, not really sure what that does for this engine but it's a 4 cylinder engine. Limited slip rear diff. as well. If I was to keep it I would be looking into a V8 or S54 swap (BMW of course). The car runs great. Brakes are brand new all around. Flowmaster exhaust. I did some of the mods like a short shifter, which is very short and feels very solid. I put the Sparco seats in as well (I still have the stock leather sport seats). When I first brought the car home I gutted the interior and cleaned everything and put any fasteners that were missing by the previous owner back where they belonged. Some new parts here and there. The exterior was pretty much like you see it as far as paint. Body is dent free. I painted the rear lip spoiler. New euro light grills, they look a bit more evil (some pictures were taken before I put the light grills in), low beam lights are HID converted with Hella lenses. The lower chin spoiler is wrapped in 3M carbon fiber material, it was pretty pitted up and it was to see if I liked the look with carbon before painting. Needles to say, I liked it so stayed with it. I made the splitter from 3/16" aluminum and polished it to match the look of the wheels, very brite! Rear license plate black euro plate panel. I de-badged the deck lid but still have them if wanted. Plus lifetime window tint all around, no it's not window "tints", it's window tint. I know there are a few I'm forgetting.Now for the wheels, these are classic HRE 535 3 piece wheels. These are 16x9 out back and 16x7.5 up front with KDW BFG tires, also brand new. I bought the HRE's from a friend who had them mounted on his '79' Porsche 911. I had to have them and then I had a vision to have these on an E30. I had them completely gone over by one of the best wheel guys around and they look great. How they fit; rear hubs are M3 hubs machined down and drilled to 5x130 with drilled out rotors. The front is simply a 4x100 adaptech adapter to fit 5x130.Air-ride; The rear suspension is a Monroe shock and simple air bag, front fully converted strut housing with double bellow setup. I have done a lot of work to make this setup work and look good without sacrificing ride and bodywork. The wheels do not rub anywhere even when tucked under the rear lips. As far as driving you could still catch the front fenders if our not carefull with your ride height. The V2 controller has 8 programed settings or you can set it manually everytime you get in, up to you! It's all tucked up in the trunk between the shock towers with a brackett I made to accommodate the V2 air ride control computer, tank and compressor. I made the existing ashtray fit the V2 controller and seconded the ashtray to accommodate an iPhone, also integrated into the alpine head unit (see pictures). I HAVE TO WARN YOU! People will want to look at this car, it's weird but cool! I like cars and love how this car sits, but it will attract attention!This is a very nice and clean car but not perfect. It has rock chips in the front, it's original paint. There is no rust in the body of this car. There is one spot on the car that does not look stock. The drivers rocker has different orange peel to it, not factory and if you wanted perfection it could be addressed. I've never worried about it because it doesn't look terrible just the perfectionist coming out in me, anyway full disclosure. The car runs and drives exceptionally well. Not a harsh ride at all, firm like an expensive coil over setup. Handles very well. Very good gas mileage to go along with it!I love this car but I've always wanted a 911, so I'm selling this to get closer to that dream. I am the second owner of the car. According to 8Coupe.com (8 series registry) This particular car is a fairly rare color combination, indication worldwide only 2 vehicles in the same color combination and with the same options. The cars color combination is striking and very beautiful! Car Fax will show 3 owners, the original owner transferred title of the car from business to personal ownership. Car was originally a California car, I had it transported to WI in 2009. I have a fairly complete folder of documentation on the car dating back to the mid 90's. Since I have owned the car it has never been driven in rain or snow, and has only been driven a little over 3,000 miles in almost 6 years. The car won its class at a local cars and coffee event and it looks very good, more about that below. I have had the car professionally detailed by CH Detailing including regular washing several times a year. The car sits in my heated shop and has been very well cared for. I am a perfectionist and will describe the condition of the car to the best of my ability. When I have pointed out flaws to other car guys they look at me as if I am nuts :-) The car gets head turns and attention whenever I have it out. It received more attention than my 911 Turbo. I debated for a long time which car to let go but ultimately decided the Turbo needed a new home. As time has passed I miss driving the Turbo and have decided it is time to look for another. While I have room to store both cars in my heated shop, I will not have the room long term so I have decided after a couple of years of changing my mind numerous times to sell my 8. The Good: The car looks fantastic! Paint is shinny, free of scratches dings or dents. The car is "unmolested" and retains the factory stereo and car phone. The wheels and tires shown in the pictures were purchased by me when I acquired the car. The M-Parallels are free of any road rash or dings. The tires have just over 3,000 miles on them. Included with the sale are the OEM BBS wheels as well as newer Pirelli tires. I replaced both batteries with new Interstate batteries, they are maintained with a C-Tec battery tender which is also included with the sale. I purchased a car cover for the car which is also included with the sale. I replaced the floor matts with new 8 series stock matts. The original floor mats are also included. a framed reproduction window sticker is also included as is original BMW sales brochures, and complete owners manuals. The interior is very good condition, no rips or tears in the upholstery. It has never been smoked in and the carpets are exceptional! I had the "Wookee" performance chips installed for additional horse power, the original chips are included with the car. I purchased a VIN number match key chain which was a custom offer to members of the 8 series Bimmerforum, it will be included with the car. The car is current on maintenance. The car has been a joy to own and has been very reasonable to maintain. The Bad: Like I mentioned above I am very particular so some of these items are an issue to me, others will not find them to be an issue. The fabric on the rear deck under the rear glass is loose in spots as is the headliner. I noticed the passenger seat is not moving up and down but is working fine fore and aft. The spring loaded door is not staying closed, I fixed it once years ago and if given the time will make the simple repair. The AC blows cold but the fan is at times a bit weak. The front lower chin spoiler was slightly damaged when removed from the transport truck when I had I shipped from California. I had planned to have the entire front lower spoiler replaced but never got around to it. The chrome trim ring on the front grill kidney is not siting tight against the body work, it is hardly noticeable and had planned to have that taken care of when I did the lower spoiler. I understand it is a fairly easy fix to get the chrome trim to snap back into place but I have not attempted the repair. The passenger door was repainted as was the passenger front fender. the older gentleman I purchased it from open his other car door into it and scraped it in a few spots. Last year while in for service the drivers door was slightly damaged and need to be repainted. These cars are priced all over the place. Some higher mileage cars are very affordable but often bring with them old car issues. Nice examples are starting to climb up a bit, perhaps someday they will attain a value to what the car is truly worth. This is a GT car, they drive very nice but it is not a sports car by the classical definition. I have been out on fun drives with friends and the car s very smooth and settled at what most would call too fast of speeds. I have no idea what the car is worth but tried to find a price that was a fair starting point. If you are interested lets talk. I don't need to sell the car so low ball offers will not be considered. For what its worth car friends of mine have told me I am nuts for selling it and have said you wont find too many nicer 8 around. Like I said I am a perfectionist and in my mind this 8 is an "8" others consider it a 10, Perhaps you are pickier than me and will think its a 7. The car has truly NEVER given me an issue, maybe because I am slow. This is a fantastic car, very well setup and ready to podium if you have it in you. I am sidelined due to injuring my knee, and bummer I won't be able to snowboard this season. Crap! I am an honest guy and easy to deal with. I have a sense of humor so if you don't, we probably shouldn't do business. The car is what it is, a blast. I did over 50+ days on track this season. Weekend after weekend the E30 was ready to kick ass. Funny when you unload your GT3RS out of your trailer and the whole time your girlfriend is wanting me…get this car and this could be you. Mainly ran the car at VIR, and my best was 2.16.77 with RRs with 35 million HC's on them, literally. This car is competitive at the National Level. Simon finished 4th at the 2012 Nationals (3rd fastest lap), finished 2nd in 2008. If you want to get in a top level spec car for cheap this is it. I have multiple dyno sheets all around the 152-156 hp mark. Similar torque numbers all around 150. Motor is the original motor (145,000 miles + 4 race seasons) and it still runs very strong and hasn’t dipped in performance in all the years I’ve run it. Was dyno’d at its last event at Nationals. Lap Times:1:41.699 – Autobahn (2nd fastest)1:41.247 – Gingerman (Lap Record)1:42.774 – Mid Ohio Pro (3rd fastest)1:45.886 – Mid Ohio club (Lap Record)1:22.984 – Putnam Park (Lap Record)2:16.773 - VIR Body:Where to start…it is far from perfect, and I consider that a good thing.
