One family car prior to my brief ownership. 98,000+ original miles. Well maintained, very good condition all-around, great running Toyota 4AFE 4-cylinder engine, gets 30+ mpg on highway, runs clean and does not burn oil. Transmission went out while driving cross-country. Everything else was working perfectly except the brake light switch seems to be stuck. New starter. Recent radiator flush and oil change. Air-conditioning is cold. Heater blows hot. Newer rear tires. Brand new battery (3 weeks old). Clean Title. Current plates until 7/14, Passed California smog last autumn, so you know it's running cleanly. No-rust. Interior is clean, one small semi-burn spot in front passenger seat. Small windshield crack in very bottom corner about four inches, not really visible even if you're looking for it. All paperwork and repair history is included. The car is located in a tow yard close to I-80 in Rawlins, Wyoming. Front wheels are locked up, has not been examined by mechanic, I'm assuming the transmission is out. Will need to be towed. Sold as-is for parts or restoration. Similar car to the 1992 Toyota Corolla, except this was assembled at the legendary NUMMI plant in Fremont, CA. Just in is this clean, well maintained 1995 GEO PRIZM ( Toyota Corolla ) with 73890 original miles . The Geo/Chevrolet Prizm (Chevrolet Prizm starting 1998) was a compact car derived from the Japanese domestic market Toyota Sprinter and jointly developed by Toyota and General Motors. Produced from 1989 to 2002, the Prizm was sold exclusively in the United States. All Prizms were built at NUMMI (New United Motor Manufacturing, Inc), a joint venture company between Toyota and General Motors in Fremont, California. The Prizm's 1993 redesign gave it more room (resulting in an upgrade to United States Environmental Protection Agency "compact" car status), a driver airbag, and a new 1.8-liter 4-cylinder engine optional on LSi trim. With the larger engine came a rear stabilizer bar, wider tires, and an optional automatic transmission with four speeds instead of three. A second airbag became standard in 1994; leather seats were an option on the LSi between 1994–1997. In contrast with the Sprinter, this generation Prizm lacked a front stabilizer bar in its suspension. The fuel injected 4A-FE is the successor of the carbureted 4A-F. It was manufactured between 1987–2001. Toyota designed this engine with fuel economy in mind. The 4A-FE is basically the same as the 4A-F (introduced in the previous generation of Corollas), the most apparent difference being the electronic fuel injection system as noted by the E. The engine was succeeded by the 3ZZ-FE, a 1.6-liter engine with VVT-i technology. There are three generations of this engine and can be identified by the external shape of the engine. The first generation (1987–1993) featured a plate on the head which read "16 valve EFI" and fuel injectors in the head.The second generation had a higher profile cam design in the head, a cam cover with ribs throughout its length, and fuel injectors in the intake manifold runners. Mechanically, the late-model motors received MAP load sensing and redesigned pistons, intake ports, and intake manifold. The second generation engine was produced from 1992–1998 (1993–1997 in the US) Carfax certified one owner ! No evidence of cigarette smoke in the car. Runs and drives fabulous. Very clean and straight body with only damage (driver door and rear fender). Bumpers are in great condition. Interior is clean and tidy. Carpets are very clean throughout. Door panels are clean. No broken trim or panels. Headliner is very clean. . Powered by a perfect running 1.6 L four cylinder engine, paired to a smooth shifting MANUAL transmission ( 5 SPEED ). All mileage is true and correct and the title is clean. The car does not have A/C, Cruise Control bud have ABS !
