With a 21 year production run, Jaguar’s XJS model became the definitive British luxury grand tourer. With the trademark long bonnet, low roof line, and the buttress guarding the rear window. Its drive line remained true to the grand tourer design; front engine sending power to the rear tires. A complete redesign was completed in 1990, most every aspect were changed or re-engineered. The original dark black paint shows very well and accentuates the graceful body lines this Jaguar convertible was designed with. Overall the paint is good condition with only minor imperfections on the driver’s door and front bumper. Every badge and trim piece is in its’ place and are in good condition only showing minor ageing. Both front and rear bumpers are in great condition, no signs of damage; the rubber molding is also in good condition. All four original wheels are in great shape with very little evidence of road wear; the newer BF Goodrich all-season tires have plenty of tread wear left. The black convertible top has been replaced by the previous owner, the material is in fantastic shape with no signs of wear at all. This Jaguar is pure elegance refined! This is a beautiful 1992 Jag XJS coupe with a dealer installed TWR Tom Wilkenshaw Racing (JagSport) XJRS body package and other dealer upgrades installed. TWR built cars were available in all markets except the United States (except for 1 year only). TWR JagSport was similar to what Shelby, Roush and Saleen were to Mustangs, Lingenfelter was to Corvettes or Hennessey is to Viper... Dealers often had agreements with TWR Racing in order to make available parts that were not. Of course, the cost was huge. This car has 81,000 miles and has had tons and tons of $$$$ spent on it, recent and previous work. It drives strong (like only a XJRS V12 would) and was mildly rated at 272 hp. It runs great, looks great, and has many mechanical upgrades over previous models... not to mention that 1992 was the 1st year of Jaguar's 'facelift' XJS, where the headlights, taillights and rear window 'flying buttress' was stylistically improved. 1992 to 1995 XJS coupes are among the most rare... even before the XJRS body kit was installed! The V12 was greatly improved in this car with direct fuel injector fuel rails that are not prone to engine fires that other earlier V12 were prone to. The horsepower and efficiency is also greatly improved. 2 Owner history: the doctor that paid big $$$ for it, and the present owner who said 'it is the most beautiful car I ever saw!" Always an AZ car (no rust) and good clean history! It has beautiful original paint, both owners kept the car indoors. The paint color is Oyster (which is sometimes referred to as Champagne) and it has Magnolia interior. The driver's side upper seat bolster has about a 1" tear, which is common as people 'rub' the area upon entry and exit of the vehicle. The wheels are 17" and are a super improvement over the stock 15" wheels and tires only have a couple hundred miles on them. Both front and rear brakes have been replaced, as well as the front shocks. The current owner just spent over $2500 on repairs (new alternator, etc). This car has been very, very well taken care of. Recently did a 600 mile round trip from Lauderdale to Jacksonville without any concern. V-12 engine, NO LEAKS, clean under the hood, runs smooth, sounds awesome when accelerating. New V-belts, New high pressure fuel line, New power steering line, BRAND NEW TIRES just fitted October 21st on the factory chrome wheels. New battery July 2015. A/C flushed and serviced for maintenance as was power steering and cooling system. A few minor electrical issues have been recently repaired. The car has been re-painted by a previous owner, paint is about a 9.5 out of 10 quality so do not expect factory perfect if you are looking for a trailer queen show car. It shines, you can see your reflection, no dings, no scratches. Chrome is generally good including the wheel rims (rare). All interior leather is good as seen in the photos. If you know these cars, the interiors on many seem to be falling apart. Dash woodwork has a couple small cracks in the laquer but hard to notice This is a non-smoker car, has had several previous owners, NO RUST ANYWHERE, . I have just installed 6 new shocks (2 front, 4 rear), 4 new tires, and a fresh oil change.It drives like a dream. Stops well and works as it should. I bought this in hopes of keeping it but I have lost my garage space and it needs to go. It does have some chips and a door ding or two but nothing major. It is 23 years old and has some wear but overall it is a beauty.

Here is a lovely 1992 Jaguar XJS 5.3 V12. The XJS is considered to be one of the next top collectible classics by David Gooding, of Gooding & Co. an auction house that sells only the most expensive rarest cars. These cars are not going down in value, as most of these have fallen into disrepair or have been scrapped because of rust issues. By the late 1980's Jaguars reputation was bad, and due to poor quality control, and eccentric designs, their reliablity suffered greatly. In order to survive they needed cash and Ford Motor Co. stepped in and the rest is history.By then, the XJS had been in production since 1976 and was starting to show its age. For the 1992 model year, Jaguar had invested a good sum of money to update and modernize the XJS, improve quality control, and update the electronics. The cars were being fitted for Jaguar's 4.0 Liter 6 Cylinder so a new hood was designed, the twin sealed beam US spec lights vanished, giving US customers the European spec look, The rear quarter panel side windows were modernized and the taillights were also revised.Inside Jaguar finally made a drivers airbag standard, doing away with the US required motorized seatbelts. A new instrument cluster, along with better switches and ac controls helped usher this car up to 1990 standards. For the 1992 model year the 5.3 liter V12 was the only engine available. The six cylinder was released in 1993 in the XJS. For the 1992 and 1993 model years, the XJS retained the classic chrome and rubber bumper set up although revised with the side reflecters hidden in the side rubber strips. In 1994 Jaguar tried to modernize the XJS even more by using molded painted plastic bumper assemblies, which looked like an afterthought and made them quite unattractive.This car finished in a classic creamy white with blue leather interior is truly in spectacular condition. It was always garaged and looks as close to new as a 23 year old car can. The inside still smells like new leather, the carpets, seats and dash are perfect. The wood is deep rich walnut and it retains its original factory radio. The tires have 90 percent of their thread left and this car can be driven anywhere. The car has recently been service and all the belts have been replaced. These cars are becoming increasingly hard to find and ones in good condition are the only ones that should be considered.

Converted from the V12 to a Chevy small block 350 V8 (automatic) (Much more reliable and maintainable than the V12, and sounds INCREDIBLE) Crane racing cams Sanderson custom stainless-steel exhaust headers (650 CFM) Edelbrock carb This baby GROWLS and turns heads EVERYWHERE. 58k, No accidents, Clean interior in good shape, Full service records. Transmission recently rebuilt Pioneer DEH-P7100BT detachable face radio with bluetooth and mp3 input + 4 Infinity Kappa 3-way speakers with tweeters Note: I noticed the auto-rating says it is "calculating" this car has had 8 owners, (!!??) This is NOT the case. The original owner drove it for a short time, I was told it then went around a few dealerships (not the same as sep owners, but shows up on the record as a sale) it was then sold to the person who did the engine conversion and upgrades in Florida. I don't know much about him but heard he had intended to use it for "street racing" but had to sell it for financial reasons shortly after doing the conversion. It was sold to an elderly man who brought it to Rhode Island, where he had it garaged for many years and only drove it on nice days when no salt was on the roads. I know he took great care of it, it was his "Sunday drive" car. I'm now the 4th owner and I have had it in my parking lot, covered when sitting for a while, and have given it every bit of attention it needs to stay in great shape.
