Make sure and check out the Video below.This is a Super Clean and well taken car of Thunderbird. When you look down the sides it is hard to find any dings, It took me a few minutes, but I did find a couple of really small ones that I show in the video below. It still has all the Trim and Molding pieces on the car and they still look really good. You can tell that they took care of this car. The worst thing I could find is the paint is a little faded and the clear coat is starting to peel on the roof. It runs and drives like a Dream. Not to mention a blast to drive. The Clutch is nice and tight when you are shifting. This car came fully loaded with just about everything that you could want in a car. 16” Factory Alloy Wheels with Fusion Tires. The tires are in good shape and still have a lot of tread left on them. Options: 3.8L Super Charged 5 Speed Manual Transmission Power Windows Power Locks Leather Air Conditioning Air Bags Cruise Control Factory Alloy Wheels Aftermarket Sony 10 Disc Changer Ride Control Boost Gauge The Black Leather Interior is clean as can be. The driver’s seat is the only one that really shows any wear, but even that is not much for a 22 year old car…;-) The Back seat is Clean and it looks like they were barely sat in. The carpet and floor mats are in really good shape and don’t show signs of much wear. It came with what looks like all the manuals and booklets, but I am not sure if anything is missing out of it. The AC blow Cool, But Not Ice Cold like it should. for sale is my beloved 85 turbocoupe that I have bought from its original owner who was a tech inspector for lime rock race park here in ct and was raced in a production stock class dury the first few years of its life. this car has almost every rare motorsports performance part that was available when he bought it as well as a ton of modern performance parts I installed. first this car has never seen snow and has an almost perfect body outside of some chips and scratches. the original owner installed a factory front mount intercooler kit from ford that was made by spearco, rf upper and lower intake manifolds, eibach lowering springs, koni adjustable shocks, a quick ratio power rack, and urethane suspension bushings all his work was dated and documented with his service records. I bought this car 7 years ago and have driven it every were including cross country as I love these cars and have always owned one since 1993. What I have done to this car is first I started with a low mileage 80,000 mile 88 drive train, had the cylinder head reworked with a very expensive boport 1.5 high performance roller cam, followers and lifters the car is run through a la2 ecu with a custom flashed superchip as well, it uses the large vam with the air temp circuit added to the upper intake, pulling through a k&n filter, has 35lb injectors with an accufab boost refrenced adjustable fuel pressure regulator that's fed from a walbro 255 pump, the turbo is a garret t3 mounted to the larger 88 e7 exhaust manifold running 19lbs of boost with a stinger 3.5" stainless down pipe and 3" single exhaust with an ultraflow muffler. The transmission is a world class t5 from the 88 with a heavy duty clutch and short throw shifter. It also was converted to a twin electric cooling fan set up from the 88 I stripped, one fan is controlled by the pcm the other is on a manual switch for back up if caught in traffic. I have sunk thousands into this car and really don't want to sell it but with age comes changes of interest and I don't have the room for this car indoors anymore and instead of watching this car go down hill I would rather it go to someone who would care for it the way the original owner and I did. the car was painted 5 years ago to clone my first car, it was originally a gray car that I painted a newer Cadillac silver, it is painted in ppg base clear and looks decent though I did not do the jambs or color sanded and buffed the clear out, but it was painted in a real booth and has minimal dust spots and the gray jambs blend in with the gray interior. the interior is the only thing really showing its age the carpets are badly stained, the seats are not ripped but are sun faded and some of the plastic in the door panels are falling apart. the car has had a hella head light conversion and mustang cobra r wheels installed, rims are 17x8 and 17x9 tires are fair (5 years old) the rear end is the original 342 posi and does make some noise from age but not bad as I trusted it from ct to florida and back for the 2013 Daytona turkey run. All in all this car isn't a cheap beater and after that list I hope you know why the price reflects that as I intended on owning this car forever. mechanically the car is very solid but the a/c clutch will need replacing and I might have smelled the 5th heater core in this car starting to seep possibly, the body presents well and has no rust the undercarriage is perfect both owners have pressure washed it and fluid filmed it every few years. also while coming back from florida I got caught in a 3 hour traffic jamb and over heated the clutch disc, it doesn't slip but will chatter lightly on hill if you try to slip it. ask all and any questions

It was restored in 1993 and driven quite a bit since then, but the smooth, shiny paint is holding up well (although certainly not perfect) and looks far fresher than you'd expect. You can credit first-rate workmanship and attention to detail for that feat, and everything still lines up right and fits tight. All the chrome was refinished during the restoration and it has held up quite well, with no notable blemishes even around the exhaust ports in back, and that deck lid mounted antenna is an interesting feature that usually means the dealer installed the radio back in the day, helping this one stand out even more. As far as driver-grade Thunderbirds go, this one is presents very well. Bright red upholstery with dark red carpets emphasizes the flashy look, and with careful ownership this one looks years younger than you'd expect. The bench seat is still supportive and comfortable, the carpets are good, and gorgeous door panels don't show so much as an indentation from the driver's elbow on the armrest. A matching steering wheel has been neatly wrapped in red leather, offering a classy look that blends right in. The gauges are probably original but they show well with clear lenses and bright pointers, although the odometer isn't functioning, so we don't know the exact mileage. Upgrades include the under-dash A/C unit which is both effective and period-correct, an AM/FM/cassette stereo radio with digital tuning in the original dash slot, and a modern alternator to power it all. A black canvas convertible top stows behind the seats, just in case, and looks great with a crystal clear rear window, and you also get a matching porthole hardtop that's a trademark T-Bird look. The spare tire moved back into the trunk for 1957, so this one carries a matching spare wheel and tire assembly as well as a reproduction plaid trunk mat. The rebuilt 312 cubic inch V8 was rebuilt by Bob's T-Birds in Florida and looks great wearing the dress-up kit that virtually every Thunderbird eventually receives. Finned valve covers, a chrome air cleaner, and bright red engine paint really pop against the shiny black bodywork, and you can tell that this one was built to drive. Power steering is a nice find on any early 'Bird and the A/C system fits so neatly in the engine bay that it could almost pass for OEM. A 3-speed Ford-O-Matic automatic transmission is unobtrusive and the right choice in an early 'Bird and with 3.00 gears out back, it's a superlative highway cruiser. Gorgeous chrome wire wheels really sparkle against the black paint and wear proper BFGoodrich Silvertown 7.50-14 bias ply wide whites for a perfect period look.
