New air plenum box for heater . Tail light sequentials work flawless with new replacement solid state system. This car is originally from Texas was last registered in 1993 in N.H. .. No title , be sure to check with your local laws on cars needing title.. Have owners registration and bill of sale signed by the owner. selling car for a friend . This car needs very little to register. Tires are good, all lights work, wipers and heat work, hideaway headlights do work but the air canister and vacumn lines were removed (have all parts ). Car has some flaking of paint and surface rust on hood and trunk lid from repaint at one point. This car has some original paint .. Not a bondo bucket but has some on hood and trunk.. Has small hole around rear window (typical spot they rust) also trunk lid has hole can be repaired. Needs vinyl top. Not rusted underneath . 1993 Mercury Cougar XR7. Runs and drives. Brand new tires. Less than 10 miles on them. The car is licensed and insured right now and can be driven, but not recommended. Mechanic says it will need struts or idler arm bushings soon. Will need body work. Driver's side door and fender will need to be repaired, but are functional. Interior is in good condition. Needs stereo system because I'm keeping it . Paint is peeling on hood. Recently replaced rear window. Old one was knocked out by our city mowing ditches. They replaced it at a cost of more than $400.00. Interior brake light is coming on, but the brakes work fine. Told it is probably just bad and needs replaced. Buyer takes whole car. This was purchased to use the drive train in a 60s/70s F150 but plans changed. It is the last year for the non computer controlled automatic transmission. The oil pan gasket has a small leak & the rear main seal may have a small leak. Motor & trans burn no oil and full synthetic oil was used in both. Car has variable power steering electronic valve- you will need a new power steering hose or the correct wire harness. A new master cylinder was installed & there is a small leak somewhere in the system. Roof rail on drivers side leaks & some water is channeled into the trunk. Car needs a stabilizer bushing on the drivers side. Theres rust along the bottom of the doors, on inside. Theres a rust spot behind the drivers door and the paint is fish eyed. Retractable seat belts are set in position. Battery is from 06/12. Car was adult owned & driven. Car is being driven & mileage will increase. Car must be titled in purchasers name. Car is inspected through 05/15. Shocks/struts replaced- about 15k ago. Car has a new heater core & one new axle seal and upper & lower ball joints. Car needs front rotors.
