Sign up for my email newsletters by adding my eBay Store to your Favorites 1976 Pontiac Trans Am 1976 Pontiac Trans Am Here is a very nice 76 Trans Am with Custom Paint, Wheels, 4-Speed, 400. Check out my store for more great Unique and Classic Cars. This car runs is a good runner but has been sitting awhile so is going to need some work to get it running. It has the Big Block 400 with a 4-Speed Manual Transmission which makes this car a blast to drive. I used to start these cars up once a month or so to keep all the seals tight and the cars running but have not been able to keep up on that for awhile. This car was a runner before I parked it and I'm sure wouldn't take much to get it going again. Maybe even just a battery. The fuel should be drained as its 4-5 years old Who knows you may replace a Fuel pump Water pump or something But a Bit of tinkering and this car is set to go the pictures were from last summer so maybe a sticker is more peeled up or some minor something but this is a Tight car that is a Orig 4spd 400 Trans Am. Drive it around and Enjoy it until you decide to pull it apart and restore it..;-) Its a great driving car. This Project will make someone a GREAT Investment car But NO you cannot hop in it and drive it to Florida... No i wouldent do it after you drained the fuel either it has not been on a trip that long in God knows how long. The exterior of this car is beautiful. It is a bright orange in color with the big black and silver bird on the hood and matching decals. The paint is in very good shape still and shines up nice. It is a little faded right now just from sitting but when buffed comes out very nice. This car does have a sunroof which someone put in and should be sealed up when restored it isnt a leaker though although im sure it will at some point. The body is very straight on this car and it doesn't have any visible rust. The previous owner installed a few extra exterior lights which you can see. Has a very cool set of aftermarket Gold Wire Wheels and a set of White Walls Tires that really give this car a unique look. They also put fender flares on the car which really makes it look unique. I have never seen them Before This is a 2 Owner car that came from Arizona and never seen the road in the winter anywhere it is ready to tinker around on...;-). Options: 400 4-Speed Aftermarket Wheels Fender Flares The interior is in really good condition on this car. It has the black interior with vinyl seats. The seats are actually in very good shape. The front seats have seat covers on them which have kept them protected. The carpets are not in that great of shape and should probably be replaced. The door panels, dash, headliner are all in very good shape for this year of car. Someone took good care of the car over the years and it shows. This car is just a rare beauty that you won't find another one like. This is a cool car that someone put some time and money into to get looking good. 80's icon is looking for a caring home! Honestly, I really love this car - it's my EIGHTH Trans Am since 1996. I've enjoyed numerous road trips: Route 66 and twice across the country from Michigan to Southern California and back. I took it too countless classic car shows and enjoyed compliments and thumbs up wherever this car appears. But it's like Huey Lewis sang in the 80's "I want a new drug", it felt it was time to get a new baby and to say Goodbye to my Trans Am. Boys don't grow up - their toys just getting bigger, right? This impeccably cared for, antiseptically clean Trans Am is ready for it's next set of enthusiasts hands to appreciated this rare, mint 80's muscle. Don't keep it hidden in the garage - it was born to hug the road! This Trans Am was assembled on Sept. 29th, 1984 as an early '85 model at the GM Norwood plant in Ohio. Before I bought this Michigan car with less than 31.000 miles, it had been stored by the first owner for more than 15 of it's 23 years in a garage, not running and never saw winter in it's entire life. The second owner just flipped it, the third owner bought this Firebird as a hobby car and only drove it to classic car shows. Because of that, it took a complete technical overhauling to turn back this well kept trailer queen into a flashy 80's Muscle machine: - Brake system new (incl. ER brake cable, wheel brake cylinders, lines now stainless steel) - Alternator new- Starter motor new - Water pump new - Head revised/refined (new GM performance intake/outlet valves, new vacuum line system, head gasket replaced, Rochester QuadraJet carburetor overhauled) - New rear sway bars - Headliner replaced - Transmission mount replaced - Headlights upgraded with stronger H4 conversion kit - Front side markers now clear - All lift supports (hood/hatch) replaced Majority of paint is original, however a few areas showed common factory paint defects (a result of GM's infamous mid-80's quality) that were professionally refinished. The body is clean, no rust, no cracks or fade in the plastic trim. The Concorde inspired dash is in perfect, unwarped shape! For a car almost 31 years old, it looks awesome. More than awesome actually - you don't see this quality level of a car anywhere but in a museum. With the assembly line not quite ready yet for the big '85 model year changes (GM just threw cars together with what was available to keep the assembly line running), the Trans Am ended up being built with a wild mix of two different model years: The restyled '85 body (front fascia, aero skirting, dams, vents, smoked taillights) and dashboard (gauges with new grid pattern design) but with an '84 vinyl interior, WS6 suspension but without rear disc brakes and an L69 "H.O." V8 instead the LG4 engine. The production codes don't match any of the GM records for '84 or '85. This Trans Am is truly unique - you won't find a second one made in this configuration by factory. There is even a handwritten production line note on the inner fender well - of the exact time/date of manufacture - all perfectly preserved. The L69 V8 (4 BBL QuadraJet carburetor, 190 hp with Regular, 210 with Premium gas) is attached to a Turbo-Hydramatic 700 R4 four speed automatic and was totally overhauled in 2014 (no leaks, no smoke). The transmission shifts smooth, the A/C blows ice-cold, everything works including the power antenna and the original concealed headlight motors. The weather stripping and all rubber seals are in good condition, the interior is spotless (non smoker car) with no cracks/tears in the seats, the dash cover has no cracks, the carpet is clean and intact (no holes, no wear through). The original Delco radio still works, the car comes with the rare glass T-Tops and storage bag, even the original floor mats are there. The 235/60-15 Cooper Cobras are in good condition, the 15x7" Diamond Spoke Cross lace wheels are clean and have no scratches. Everything is well documented from the first owner to the present day, the title is clean, the car has never had an accident. Even for current standards, this Trans Am is a still quite a fast car, but also a very comfortable Grand Touring Coupe (I crossed the US twice with this car and enjoyed every mile). I guarantee you'll enjoy the countless compliments (and you'll get a lot, this car is a head-turner and jaw dropper!). No repairs expected, it's 31 yeas old - all you need to do is to turn the key and drive into YOUR 80's paradise. 2004 Pontiac GTO The GTO was reintroduced in 2004 after a thirty year absence from the Pontiac lineup. They were built by GM Holden Ltd, an Australian subsidiary of General Motors on a Holden Monaro VZ chassis on the limited import of around 15,000 units. Mine has just under 107k miles on it, and is the desired Black/Black with a 6-speed manual! Sometime in its life an RKSports Ram Air hood and aftermarket trunk spoiler were installed. It also has Longtube headers, free flowing dual exhuast and cat converter delete (these 3 items being not legal for on-road use in CA), it is loud...just the way it should be! Fitted with an aftermarket hurst shifter, it is very comfortable to shift, and really moves out if you choose to do so. If you want to smog this car in CA, then the headers will need to be replaced with smog legal ones and catalytic converters will need to be installed... but if you live any other place than smog nazi California then you`ll get to enjoy the way she sounds and the increased performance! I would trust her to drive anywhere in the country. I just put brand new tires on the front (only 100 miles on them), there are no check lights on the dash and it'll get in the low to mid 20's mpg if you keep your foot out of it. Comes with a clean and clear CA title in my name and ready for transfer. Blower motor doesn't always work correctly. Temp gauge don't work properly, but doesn't overheat. Tachometer doesn't work. Oil gauges bounces while you are driving. The radio cuts out along with the windshield wipers occasionally. Window switches sicks sometimes and sometime don't want to roll down when you first start it and you have to shut the car off and start it again. ignition sticks while turning on some times and have to be careful so it don't stick. Drivers door panel is a little loose and vibrates sometimes while driving. Front Struts need to be replaced soon. Front grill has a couple of cracks. Couple of rock chips in windshield. Few misc scratches. Interior is faded a little bit. Heater core needs to be replaced. Everything is pictured and in the video.
