My husband, Barry is offering his car for sale with the following description: 1994 Cadillac Deville Concours92,300 original milesTwo family owner, my father purchased at approximately 10,000 milesClear title in hand Very Clean, pampered, kept in humidity controlled, enclosed, rodent free garage its entire life when it wasn't being driven.It has led a sheltered life. My father did drive this car in the rain at times, as he saved his other Cadillac for fair weather (previously sold on ebay # 181558608664). Of course there is no rust on his car. He would hand wash this car the day he returned home from trips, always. It has not been left in the sun very many times, so the interior and dash (in addition to the exterior finish) is in excellent condition. It was never driven when the roads were salted. Everything works to the best of my knowledge. Read through the feature listing for the many features this car includes.The few detractions with this car are as follows: 1) There is a scuff to the paint and door molding on the right rear door and was created when my wife was letting our young daughter out before she pulled into the garage. My daughter exited the car and my wife wisely ensured that she was in sight and out of the way, but my daughter forgot to close her door before my wife started to pull in, which caused a few scratches to the paint and scuff to the door edge molding. It is difficult to see in the picutres and isn't noticable unless you know to look for it, but you be the judge from the pictures of the right rear door. 2) There is a slight oil pan leak that will leave a spot on the floor in the garage where it is parked. It is minor and has exhibited this ever since owning the car, never gotten worse, but just pointing it out. It does not use oil though, and if you never added oil between 3k mile oil changes (filter and oil always changed every 3k since new), it would not be more than about 1 quart low at the end of the oil life. Otherwise, I never was too concerned about it. 3) There are a few minor door dings and blemishes in several spots on the car's doors from its usage. They are few in number. See the pictures to try and reveal any. There is no paint fading as far as I can tell. My camera will strain to pick them out, even the scuff mentioned in item #1 above isn't recognized in the picture but I will try to capture every detail if you request it. I took many pictures of this car...some closeups, but am limited to only displaying 24 in this auction per ebay rules. It runs and drives great. This is the most aerodynamic fuel efficient full size car that I've ever driven. That is the reason I took it over from my Dad to begin with. I am selling all my cars to replace with trucks for my business and family traveling. Otherwise, this car has been very economical for me. Considering its higher 270 horsepower 4.6L V8 engine and extra pep, it does very well either around town, or on the open interstate at 70 plus mph. We took it to the beach once (parking deck parked and avoided sea salt and rain) and with a family of four, with the very roomy trunk filled running 70 mph, we got a minimum of 24mpg. This car floats down the road quietly and is the easiest car to see out of and handle the roads precisely. I was told when my father purchased this car from the original owner who only drove it 10K miles that his wife wanted something different and is the reason he sold it to my father. Neither my Mom nor my wife have ever complained about anything with this car, so I do not understand the issue with the first owner wanting to re-sell it. All of the tires are between very good condition to almost like new condition. Front Goodyear Eagles less than 16k, Rears less than 7k. All balanced and smooth. No disappointments with this car. My driving habits are very gentle on it however. As is the case on front wheel drive vehicles, if you run it hard, you will wear out tires more quickly.The premium battery is a recent install. The Air conditioner has had a new compresser and drier installed and blows cold air on the hottest, humid days in the South. I live in the vicinity of Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet, a "Mr. Goodwrench" dealer. The most recent inspection shows (contact me for pictures of inspection sheet) that the next inspection check is due Feb. 25, 2015. My father ensured that the oil and filter were changed religiously every 3000 miles, with premium synthetics added. All service records are available. An original Cadillac 2 Volume Dealership Shop/Service Manual is included. We do not trust just any dealership to service our cars! No Ethanol fuel used in this car! We pay more to use NON-Ethanol gasoline. Original GOLD Keys included, and Original non-Gold keys included. No duplicates ever made! Carpeted floor mat protectors were used to protect the car's original Cadillac floor mats AND carpeting, which is in excellent condition, as is the rest of the interior. No odors, musty smells, pets, smoking, no humidity related issues (mold, mildew, etc.), no rodents, EVER! I have tried to represent this car as accurately as I can, but it is NOT a brand new car. As such and in addition, there is no warranty or guarantee expressed or implied if you purchase this car. I will try to accomodate your viewing the car prior to its purchase, and assisting with arrangements that you may make after the purchase. We are not a car dealer and this car DID NOT come from an unknown person's estate auction. I personally know the history of this car! My father simply was forced to stop driving due to a sudden disabling stroke. I assumed responsibility of this car from that point on while my mom drove it up until she no longer drove it. This rare and lovely Cadillac is the pinnacle of bold American art deco design. The stylized chrome grill, hood ornament, and interior accoutrement harkens back to a bygone era. This Fleetwood bodied convertible was 1 of only 27 built in 1939, with only 5 surviving today. Its original sales price of $3500 ensured exclusivity. This particular car was featured in the factory’s Fleetwood brochure, with its striking combination of Kingston gray over green leather. The daunting 141” wheelbase was shared with the V-16 models of that year. It has a 140 bhp, 346 cu. in. OHV V-8 engine, three-speed synchromesh manual transmission and four-wheel hydraulic drum brakes. Our car was originally delivered by the factory to Seattle, WA. It was later discovered in 1990, after spending 30 years in a Vancouver auto museum. The car underwent a painstaking 3-year nut and bolt restoration by the immediate prior owner to factory specifications. Its then owner was the co-author of the authenticity manual on this model, as well as technical advisor to the CCCA and Cadillac LaSalle club on these magnificent cars. He has done many show winning restorations. Upon completion, it was a regular feature at major Concours, including Pebble Beach, Amelia Island, Meadowbrook, and the Cadillac LaSalle Club’s Grand Nationals, where it garnered Pre-War Best in Show. It has been the subject of countless magazine and calendar photos as well. The car was subsequently toured by the former owner, completing a trip across the Canadian Rockies as well as Europe. The car entered into our fortunate stewardship in 2009 in fabulous condition. Extensive cosmetic and mechanical refreshening was nonetheless performed of all systems to ensure that the car remained 100% authentic, completely reliable and Concours worthy for many years to come. Check out my store for more great Unique and Classic Cars. This car runs is a good runner but has been sitting awhile so is going to need some work to get it running. It has the Big Block 400 with a 4-Speed Manual Transmission which makes this car a blast to drive. I used to start these cars up once a month or so to keep all the seals tight and the cars running but have not been able to keep up on that for awhile. This car was a runner before I parked it and I'm sure wouldn't take much to get it going again. Maybe even just a battery. The fuel should be drained as its 4-5 years old Who knows you may replace a Fuel pump Water pump or something But a Bit of tinkering and this car is set to go the pictures were from last summer so maybe a sticker is more peeled up or some minor something but this is a Tight car that is a Orig 4spd 400 Trans Am. This car does have a sunroof which someone put in and should be sealed up when restored it isnt a leaker though although im sure it will at some point. The body is very straight on this car and it doesn't have any visible rust. The previous owner installed a few extra exterior lights which you can see. Has a very cool set of aftermarket Gold Wire Wheels and a set of White Walls Tires that really give this car a unique look. They also put fender flares on the car which really makes it look unique. I have never seen them Before This is a 2 Owner car that came from Arizona and never seen the road in the winter anywhere it is ready to tinker around on...;-). It has the 2.5L 4cyl. engine and the motor is very strong in this car. The car fires right up, drives down the road very nice, and shifts like it is suppose to. It also gets really good gas mileage. You just can't beat these 1 Owner Cars that have such low original miles like this one only having 63K Miles on it. People that have one car for this long tend you take very good care of them and keep them maintained and running better and this car is no exception. Very clean under the hood and undercarriage. This is a 1 Owner Car with 63K Orig. Miles The exterior of this 6000 is in good condition but as you can see in the pictures and video that the clear coat is peeling on the top surfaces and the paint is slightly faded. This is one of the only things I can say bad about the car. Its a cool almost Copper in color which you just don't see very often. All of the rest of the car like trim, grill, and chrome are all in really good shape as you can see. The factory wire wheels look great and show minimal wear and are wrapped in a newer set of BFGoodrich Tires that have probably 90% tread left on them and still have titties on them. Power Windows Power Locks Power Drivers Seat Aftermarket Aiwa CD Player Factory A/C The interior is very clean on this car and when you open the door and look inside you can tell that the miles are original. It has a tan cloth interior which is hard to keep this clean but the previous owner did. The seats are in excellent shape and show very little wear on the front seats and the back seats show none at all. The tan carpets look great and only have a couple stains that will come out. The car has power everything and it all works. Has a nice aftermarket Aiwa CD Player installed. Still has the owners manuals. You can just tell that the previous owner really liked this car and kept it as clean and nice as he possibly could. This is just a super clean and nice gas saving car that has super low original miles. These cars are reliable and you can just tell that it was maintained properly over the years.
