1968 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham in storage for 30 years.My Dad was the 2nd owner and purchased it in 1971 in an estate sale from the 1st owner where it was chauffeur driven. He paid $4,500 and it was his pride. He kept it his garage and fully serviced while he was alive. When I was willed it in 1988, I kept it in different indoor storage for its entire life. This car had NO accidents or body work. I put it in the current storage in Waukegan Ill. in 1994 and havn't started or moved it since. It was last licensed in 1985. It has new boxed filters and mis parts in the trunk. And as the pictures show, it has a lot of aged surface dirt and surface rust patches, flat tires etc.. I planned to repaint and restore it for the last 25 years. But time ran out. It will need to be picked up from the Waukegan Ill storage facility. You will be bidding on a pristine 1994 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham that has always been kept in a garage and that is in very good condition. This automobile is indeed one that was driven by a little old lady on special occasions only. She lived with her two daughters and they have all passed away and the car came to us through the estate by way of a 501C charity. This car has never been hurt, and there is no rust, although there is a small dent on the passenger side rear door that you can hardly see, and the chrome trim strips at the rear of the car show a few small dents. These trim pieces are still available from the Cadillac dealer. You can see in the pics that nothing has ever been in the trunk, and the leather interior condition is very good. The car has been serviced regularly by the same dealership that sold it originally, and in the glove compartment we found a small memo pad that has the dates and mileage of each time it was serviced as written by the owner .This is truly a rare find.

First year for the Fleetwood Brougham with the LT-1 Corvette 5.7 engine, collectable! Beautiful, well maintained low mileage creampuff. Fully optioned, loaded. This time capsule has been in the rust free environment of the desert southwest since new. Truly a garage kept beauty that is the last of the true "old school" GM Luxury cars. Driven less than 4000 miles a year, this Caddy is barely broken in. If you are familiar with these models, they are known to typically give good service upwards of a quarter million miles. Michelin tires with 75% tread, all around and has a full size spare tire. This baby is ready to take you anywhere the road allows. Note: Raised white letter tires have been remounted to show black sidewalls outward. Being a Brougham, I cannot think of any option it does not have, other than towing package. The 100% original paint still has the shiny mirror gloss. What a pleasure to drive! Easily gets 23-26 mpg effortlessly cruising at 70 mph. A very solid and stable feeling ride that is surprisingly nimble through mountainous terrain. All trim, weather stripping and other plastic or rubber parts are in great condition. No nusance items noted or experienced to take away from your envelope of luxury. Very clean undercarriage and engine compartment. Air Conditioner blows cold, heater is toasty and ride is quiet and smooth. Passed emissions with the greatest of ease. This car has been well loved and respected by all 3 owners. Oh and it is quite powerful. It eats up the freeway. EVERYTHING works. Some of the modifications I have done: Wheels (obviously). 2.5" to 2.25" exhaust with turbo mufflers and X pipe. Severe duty shocks. I also installed a larger rear anti-sway bar. In essence it now effectively has a FE2 handling package. And most importantly the PCM has been reprogrammed for several advantages. 1. No speed limiter. 2. Primary and secondary fans come on at lower temperatures each. 3. Transmission downshifts easier and holds longer under stronger acceleration. 4. Shifts are a bit firmer than stock for longevity, less slippage. And it has a 160 thermostat. I also have installed new brakes front and rear. Did a complete grease job, all front end zerks, differential grease, and wheel bearings. The cooling system was completely flushed, but upon doing it I saw all fluid was already pristine. I refilled with Prestone extended life coolant. There are no fluid leaks. The original owner was a GM executive and special ordered this to his tastes. Included is every single detail of service records while in he had it. He maintained this baby to the nth degree. The second owner acquired this Fleetwood shortly after the original owner died and used it extensively for long road trips, touring the USA. He probably put 30,000 interstate miles on it himself, as it has just over 40,000 when he bought it a few years ago. Just before I bought it the entire A/C system was rebuilt, including a new Delco compressor (new, not rebuilt). While I had it, I had the radio completely rebuilt as well as the power antenna. I installed a period correct Delco dealer option 10 CD changer in the trunk. This Caddy is truly rust-free. No not Chicago or New York "rust-free" not Florida "rust-free" but Arizona rust free!! This is the BEST car I have ever owned. But I cannot fully shut my garage door because the Caddy is about 5 inches too long. So, I have to settle for my second best car I have ever owned, a Buick Roadmaster. EVERYTHING WORKS! 1994 is the first year for the LT1 (Corvette) 350 Cubic Inch 5.7 liter V-8 to be installed to these. This motor is running just as it should be with lots of power and 26mpg on the highway! This car has traction control and anti lock brakes!! This car is a non smoker car. I just put 4 brand new whitewall tires on the excellent condition factory Brougham wheels. The car rides so smooth!!! The transmission shifts perfectly! Every gear shifts like factory new. The brakes are NEW! I put new rotors on the front with new ceramic pads. Also new wheel bearings, seal, and new caliper pins and bushings. The rear shoes are as new. The brakes stop the car smooth and precise. The exhaust system is a factory dual exhaust that is in very nice condition. No exhaust manifold leaks on this beauty. The car is a nice condition car that has ice cold air conditioning, great cruise control, heated seats (they are so weak) and lumbar that is excellent. The battery is strong and will not drain or draw over time. The car has all of the factory floor mats, the trunk mat, the trunk net and I even have books for it. The car has power seats in the front with memory settings. The car has tilt wheel, power windows that all work, power locks that all work, keyless entry that works. Ooops. The trunk pull down is not pulling down but it is in the down position so you just close it regular. The digital dash is clear and there are no trouble lights. The factory radio works very nice and the power antenna works properly. The lights, horn, emergency brake, wipers, indicator lights on the fenders work, automatic tinting mirror works. The rear bumper has great shine with no rust bubbles. The car is georgeous with all of the chrome on the white body with the full white top! I redid the rear top trim strips and put new clips so it holds for years. The chip in the key is there but the system is deactivated so it won't fail and leave you somewhere (common over the years to not work leaving you stuck). The car really runs and drives excellent. There are some flaws of course but overall the car is a beauty! It's a really nice car that is ready to go for years. They are the last of the large Roadmaster, Caprice Fleetwood B and D body cars!! Sad to see them become so scarce but they are a bit collectible now. Buy it and you will see why! There's nothing like it. You are in a 20 year old car with lots of power, air bags, anti lock brakes, traction control and it feels like a nice old school classic! I have a clean clear title in hand ready to transfer. I put over 1,000 miles on this car just before the new tires and brakes and it was flawless. Very dependable and reliable. So nice to drive.
